Indie's POV

At the end of the day we all said our good byes as we weren't going to see each other over the summer. Jemma's going over to visit her aunty in California for 2 months, she doesn't come home until the day before we go back to school. Maggie's going over to Spain then to Mexico for the two months, Lily's going back home to Australia and me, well I'm staying here in boring County Tyrone the best I'll go for holiday is to Portrush for a week or two. At least I get to see Zac over the summer but I think I'm going to break it off with him. We only ever get to see each other on a Saturday and for a couple of weeks in the summer. I never really trusted him when we were apart even when I was right beside him he would still check out other girls. Who knows what he does when I'm not with him! Zac lived about an hour away in Belfast so yeah I'm definitely going to break up with him. To be honest I never really thought that we would go much further than a couple of months of dating. I guess in my head he was just a distraction, something to take my mind off things, people and just to make me look like I was off the market, that I could get a good looking lad to call mine.

I was walking home today alone. How great! All the girls were getting lifted and heading straight to the airports, so I couldn't hitch a ride home. Not that I minded walking but I wish I had my car! Me and Lauren shared car and today it was hers, she had an important job interview so she had to look like she could cope and had a good money income to support driving. Also if they hired her they could see she could drive and give her a company car so we wouldn't have to share any more. It was a cold day as per usual, I don't know why but we always seem to get the worst weather here and it was just starting to get annoying. It would take me a good 30mins to walk to my house from the school and the other way about. I was used to it, no biggy until it started to rain. 'Perfect!' I shouted out. I knew no one could hear me even though I did shout it but everyone was in their warm cars with the heating to warm them up. How much I envied them right now. I thought this day couldn't get any worse then it did. A car drove past and into a huge puddle and of course it soaked me from head to toe. The only thing that was good about it was that it was the end of the school year and I didn't need my uniform for tomorrow. Yeah that's right we have a school uniform. Oh how much I wished I was American and wear my own clothes to school.

As I was deep in my thoughts in the pouring rain a car pulled up and stopped beside me. The window then rolled down and to my shock I saw Zayn leaning over,'Do you need a lift home?' he asked. 'yeah but I'm soaking wet and I'd only ruin your car' I said shivering. 'Who cares about the car, seriously get in your shivering I can see it' he said with sympathy, 'No it's alright I'm used to it, Ahchoo!' I sneezed as I spoke. 'Maybe I could use that lift?' I said giving in. 'Yes you do! Get in before you get the cold!' he said quickly as I opened the door and hopped in. 'Thank you!' I said sneezing again. 'No problem, but I think you did get the cold!' he said with a smile, 'Yeah I see that' but he cut me off again, 'You mind if we make a stop at my house for a bit?' he asked concentrating on the road. 'No not at all, go ahead' I don't know why but normally I would feel awkward but with Zayn I felt comfortable. Like we didn't just have our first conversation today but like we had been friends for ages. We turned into a beautiful big house not to far from school or my house infact! All I could do was gasp and for once I was speechless! 'I guess you like my house then?' he said and I nodded. 'Come on in,' he said with an inviting tone, I got out of the car and followed him up to the front door.

Zayn's POV

I honestly couldn't let her walk home in the pouring rain, she would get the cold and she looked lonely. I knew we only talked for the first time today but I wanted to talk to her forever since I moved from Bradford to Armagh. The first day I saw her I knew I wanted to make her mine, I had to she was like I said earlier a princess, I wanted to make her my princess and I wanted to be her prince. But then that day I layed my eyes on her I found out she was already with someone, some sleezebag from Belfast that I knew was not worth a minute of her time, even though I had only seen her around school with her friends she seemed perfect, she always had a smile on her face, she was never down in the dumps. She helped those who was down up, she was so kind hearted and all around lovely, amazing, beautiful. She walked in behind me not sure of what to do, I could see it in her big blue eyes. I had to stop myself from staring into them forever, but it was so hard to take my eyes away from them they were as beautiful as her. Then I realised, 'Oh would you like a towel and some dry clothes?' I asked as I ran to the hotpress and grabbed a towel for her. 'Yeah, please' I heard her say quietly. As I handed her the towel I told her to stay there in the middle of my house as I ran upstairs, I didn't know if she would want any of the boys clothes or mine? Would the boys mind? Nah they wouldn't they knew how much I liked her to be angry at her but what to do? So I decided quickly to get a pair of grey trackie bottoms and an old Jack Wills t-shirt and a pair of socks of mine just incase the boys would get angry. I really didn't know what to get her, she was literally soaking, her blazer straight through to her shirt, her skirt, her tights even her shoes looked soaked.

'Here you go' I said handing her the clothes, as she was looking around, she seemed so fascinated by my home. 'Thank you!' she said taking them gratefully, I just stared at her, 'Em? Where do I get changed?'she asked looking around again, 'Oh yeah, forgot you haven't been here before not like the guys' I said and pointed to the 4th door on the right. She walked towards the bathroom and I guess she was shocked at how big it was as all I heard was a loud 'Wow' from her. Not so long after she closed the door she walked out in my bottoms and t-shirt but don't forget about the socks! The clothes looked big and baggy on her. But it was cute, she looked well in my clothes and well I liked looking at her in my clothes. It seemed like it all fitted together perfectly. When she walked out she sat on the stairs beside me and said, 'thank you so much Zayn! I really do appreciate it!' she was so cute especially when she smiles. 'Don't worry about it! Really!' I said with a smile trying not to blush when she said my name. 'You talked about the boys before I got changed,' 'yeah? Why?' I asked confused, did she like one of them? Was I only going to be her friend? Did she want one of their numbers? I bet it's Harry she wants! 'No I was just wondering, why aren't you with them? Your normally with them after school.' 'How'd you know that?' I asked suspiciously, 'we go to the same school, I see you with them obviously' she said pushing me lightly on the arm. 'Oh yeah..I forgot about that,' 'I can see that!' I couldn't help but laugh, 'nah not today their all going home for the summer spend time with the family you know.' 'Would they not see them everyday?' she asked, I thought everyone knew we weren't from here? Seems not, 'No they went home, Harry went back to Cheshire, Louis back to Doncaster, Liam back to Wolverhampton and Niall back down to Mullingar' I explained this all to her and she nodded with realisation in her facial expression. 'Oh yeah I forgot you left your family in England and for Niall in Ireland,' 'Yeah,' 'but why didn't you go back to Bradford then to see your family?'she asked, I didn't know what to say but I guess the truth had to be told, 'They went on holiday themselves without me, I said I didn't really mind, but I guess I do.' 'So they just left you? I take it your just going to stay here or have you planned to go anywhere on your own?' she asked, it was the first time I ever heard her ask so many questions at one go! 'Yeah I think I'm going to stay here for two weeks then go visit the boys on my own for 2 weeks or so at a time, if I still have time left I'll go to the house we have in New York and stay there for a bit.' she seemed so interested in my life it was cute like her. 'what bout yourself? Your normally with your wee group of friends, what happened today?' I said I had to ask her something she was asking me, so I had to ask her something! 'Well they have their own plans this summer going abroad an all, but me the furthest I'll probably go is Portrush or Belfast, pretty boring this year to be honest' 'Belfast? To see your boyfriend? I take it' it hurt me deep inside to say that word to her, but why? This was the longest conversation we had. 'Yeah but also to shop!, plus I think I'm going to break things up with him.' did she just say what I thought?

She was going to dump that twit over the summer! This is the best day of my life! So far. We just sat on the stairs talking about the most random stuff that came into our heads, it was perfect! We kept getting closer together then I leaned in, almost there but her phone rang. Her ringtone was 'Kiss Me' by Ed Sheeran. That's what I wanted to do there and then but no. Ed was such an inspiration to me, he makes me want to sing all day and all night as long as I could!.She then walked into the bathroom as she took the call.

Indie's POV

We were talking for what seemed like 5 minutes but really it was 3 hours, just sitting talking on the stairs. It felt like we had known each other forever, I was so comfortable around him, just as we got closer and closer he leaned in and I started too, then Kiss You started to play. Of course the one good thing that was happening to me got ruined. I looked at my phone and seen the caller ID being Lauren, well done sis! Way to go ruin my first kiss with Zayn! I knew I had to take the call so I walked into the bathroom and answered, 'Hello?' I said, 'India Kate Allen! Where are you?! Nathan and I have been searching for you all afternoon!' she said sounding angry, 'Alright calm down! Give your phone to Nathan please,' I could hear her mumbling something but couldn't make out what it was, then I heard Nathan, 'Indie?' 'Yea that would be me Nathan!' I said cheerfully giggling, 'Where even are you?' He asked, 'I'm at Zayn's house he saw me walking home and it was raining and I was soaking, so he brought me to his and let me dry off, I guess we've been talking for the past couple of hours' I could still hear Lauren mumbling in the background. She's always been worried for me since mum and dad left us. I started tearing up, I don't really want to go in to it, then Nathan's voice calmed me down, 'Who's Zayn?' ' he goes to school with me' 'Get home now! Anyway I'll come and get you where does this Zayn live?' he asked, 'hold up a minute' I walked out of the bathroom towards Zayn covering the phone, 'you couldn't give me a lift home could you?' 'Sure, I'll go get my coat' I put the phone back up to my face, 'Nathan?' 'Yeah?' 'Zayn's leaving me home be there in a bit, promise! Bye!' and with that I hung up before he could say anything else.
