The Power Of Three

Presley's P.O.V.

I wake up and check my phone. Its 7:47. I look at my unread messages. 10 from Nicole and 17 from an unknown number. I look at the text messages that Nicole sent me. all of them said that she was sorry or where did you go. Then I checked the unknown number and realized it was Niall. I dont want to talk to them. I know it was just a dare but it felt like more than that.

I walk down stairs and grab some cereal from the cupboard grabbed a bowl and poured some in. I don't really like cereal with milk in it so I grabbed a spoon and sat down on the couch. I turned on Toddlers and Tiaras.

By the time I got my butt up off the couch it was 12:24.am supposed to meet Kat at the Barnes & Noble down the street. I get ready throw on some mascara grab my sunglasses and walk out. I wanted to walk there because its literally right down the road.

At first I was kind of sacred to walk alone because there are creepy dudes all around. I open the door to Barnes & Noble and the smell instantly hits me. Ive always loved the smell of paper, don't ask me why, I just do.

I was scanning the newer books by John Green when a blue book caught my eye. I picked it up. The Fault In Our Stars eh doesn't sound too bad. I read the back and instantly fall in love. I know what ill be doing today and tomorrow.

I bought the book and waited for Kat outside. She showed up about ten minutes later and she told me she wanted to buy the book really quick so that we could read it together. I wait for her to buy it and we walked back to my house.

"Pres, Nicole just asked me if ive talked to you today." "Tell her no because I don't want her to ask you if we are hanging out and then shell ask if she could come hang out with us and I am mad at her right now anyway."' I say. "ok."

We talk about random things till she said she had to finish some homework. She leaves and I decide to read tfios ( The Fault In Our Stars). Im about a third of the way into chapter 11 when the doorbell rings. I get up and look through the peephole.

Its.Niall. Crap what am I supposed to do he know in here because I I was blasting music while I read and my car is in the driveway. "Got away Niall I don't want to talk to you right now."' I snap. "Please Presley let me in I need to talk to you." "No Niall." "Presley if I cant come in can you come out?"

"Fine." I cant hide from every little thing that happens to me. I unlock the door and step outside. "Ok so are you going to tell me what happened or nah?'' I ask. "I knew you would get mad at me if I kissed her so I looked at you for reassurance and you just stood there. I did it really quick and next thing I know I hear the front door slam."

"I tried to text you a lot but you never responded." I could hear worry and hurt in his voice. How could I stay mad at someone who cares about me enough to worry about me. "No ones ever worried about me before.", I say. Before I knew it I was hugging Niall. We stay like that for a long time. "Now can I come inside?", he asks sarcastically. "Haha very funny Horan."

We walk inside and sit down on the couch. He grabs my had and intertwines our fingers. "I know we have only known each other for a couple of days but will you b-be my girlfriend?", he asks obviously nervous. "Um I don't know Niall I mean your nice and all but..."

He looks like he was about to cry. "Im just kidding Nialler of course ill be your girlfriend." All at once it happens. Sparks fly and it was perfect. "I love you Presley James.", he whispers. "I love you too Niall Horan."' I giggle.

He gets up and runs to my room. "Niall come back", I whine. He comes out and sits right in front of me. "What do you want to do today?" I ask while playing with his hair. "I think we should go to the mall and ill buy you some new clothes.", he says. "Oh no Niall I cant let you buy anything for me." "Nonsense princess we are going to the mall in a half an hour so go get ready or stay here with me, which ever one you want."

get up and go change into something that doesn't make me look like a walking zombie. I pull my hair into a side braid and do my make up. it takes me about fifteen minutes to do that so I run down stairs and jump on Niall's lap. "Hey Princess you ready to go?" "Yeah." "Then lets go." I grab his hand and we walk out to his car.

"Has anyone ever told you, you are the most beautiful girl in the whole entire world?' he asks. "no." "Well now you have." I blush at that. "Niall you know I am the luckiest girl in the world, right?" "And im the luckiest boy in the world because you are my one and only princess.", he says.

we walk into the mall and head to the Disney store because I saw this olaf doll that I had to get. "Niall look at how cute this is.", I say holding it up to my cheek. "Do you want me to get it for you?",he asks. "No I got it" "Just this once James, just this once.", he glares. "Ok fine Horan."

*skip to when they get home*

"Today was one of the best days of my life", I say t a sweaty,panting Niall. "Awe Nialler I told you I would help you get the bags." now I feel bad. "Its ok princess I told you I would get all of them." "Ok but now you need to go take a shower", I say. "First you need to give me a hug.", he says running towards me. I run as fast as I can up to my room and lock the door. "Go take a shower, you stink." "fine but when I get out I am getting that hug."
