-Aly’s POV-

“What is there to talk about Ashton? I don’t understand why you even want to be a part of my life now, you didn’t want it a few years ago.” I sighed, rubbing my hands over my face. He is the most confusing human being I have ever met.

“There’s heaps to talk about Aly, I was overwhelmed back then, I didn’t know what I was doing.”

“You were overwhelmed? How did you think I felt? I had a baby inside me! My parents kicked me out, you left me. We were alone with barely any money and absolutely no support and you have the audacity to say you were overwhelmed.” I was finally letting all the hurt and anger I felt at that time out and it felt great. Unfortunately, I know in myself I still love Ashton and I know me saying this is hurting him. At least he deserves it.

“Aly, I’m sorry. I was scared, I was about to live my dreams and you were supposed to be part of them. I didn’t know what I was supposed to do with a baby, that was never part of the plan.”

“Are you blaming me? It takes two to tango Ashton, you were there too.”

“I’m not blaming you, she was an accident, an accident that could have been prevented.”

“Are you serious Ashton? I fucking love our daughter, she means the world to me. Nevercall her a mistake and never imply that I don’t want her.” Is he serious right now?

“Calm down Aly, she may have been an accident, but she was a beautiful accident. Shit,” he paused and looked up at the sky. “This is so not going to plan.” He whispered.

“What’s not going to plan? Did you want me to admit that our daughter was an accident? That’s why you brought me here wasn’t it? You know what, take me home asshole.” I said as I stood up from my seat and started walking back to the car. His hand latched around my arm halting me. “Could you just let me the fuck go, I hate you.” I was close to tears at this point.

“No Aly, stop. I love our daughter, I’m sorry that you thought I was implying all those things, and I’m sorry that I’ve hurt you so much these past few years. I’m sorry Aly, I’m so sorry. You just need to know…” he trailed off.

“I need to know what?” I asked impatiently, wanting to get away from him so I could cool off and consider everything that has happened today.

“You need to know that I love you. Aly Cat, I’m in love with you. I never stopped loving you and I’m so sorry for being a terrible boyfriend and a terrible father and for making a horrible mistake. I’m sorry for leaving you and my daughter, I want to be back in your lives. I need to fix my mistakes. I need you.”
