You Make Me Strong

Trinity and I walked downstairs to see Natalie was here and flirting hard with Louis. I smiled at the sight because Louis and Natalie would look so cute together. They would be the cutest couple in the whole school.

Liam was sitting on a stool by the counter next to Harry and Niall, well, he almost had his whole body in the fridge. I tapped Harry on the shoulder with an evil smirk. He followed my gaze, a grin growing on his face, nodding.

"NIALL!" I screamed, causing him to smack his head against the inside of the fridge. We all started laughing, Harry falling off his stool onto the floor.

"What the hell? That fucking hurt." He pouted, rubbing the back of his head. I was laughing so hard, I couldn't talk. He shut the door to the fridge and glared at me.

"I-I'm sorry, Ni. I had to." I finally formed words and walked over to him, slipping my arms around his waist. I gave him my best puppy dog face and jutted my bottom lip out. "Forgive me?" His bit his lip, trying to hold back the smile about to form. I smirked at him and he finally chuckled, hugging me gently. I frowned, knowing he was treating me like I was broken. Everybody was and it was frustrating. I pulled away and looked down at my feet.

"Emi?" Niall's sweet Irish voice filled the air. I slowly shifted my gaze to him. A small smile played across his lips and his eyes were sparkling. "I'm not mad at you, yeah?" I nodded and weakly smiled.

"Let's go get food! I'm starving!" Louis whined, standing at the front door.

"Louis, you sound like a two year old." Trinity snapped, making me giggle a little. Louis stomped his foot, indicating he was ready to go. We all started walking towards the door, when Niall lightly grabbed my arm. I turned around, meeting his bright blue eyes.

"Hey, go ahead and go to the car. We will be there in a minute!" Niall yelled at the guys, earning grumbles from Louis. When the front door shut, Niall's gaze turning to mine. "Are you alright?" His voice was low, even though nobody was in the house. My eyes dropped to the floor as I chewed on my bottom lip. He noticed and gently pulled my lip from my teeth.

"N-no." I choked out, holding back the tears. He caressed my face, in his large hand, so I would look at him. I inhaled sharply from the contact to my bruised cheek. Tears were threatening to fall from my eyes but I blinked them away. "I'm broken, Niall." He dropped his hand from my cheek and pulled me against his chest. I held in my tears, trying not to ruin my make up. He rubbed my back slowly as I wrapped my arms around his waist. "Everybody is treating me differently and I hate it. I'm not supposed to be broken, I'm supposed to be strong." I sniffled as I pulled back a little to look up at him. "I've been through enough in my life." My voice dropped, cracking slightly.

"I-I'm sorry this happened Emi but we are all here for you." He mumbled into my hair, placing a kiss on the top of my head. My heart fluttered at the small gesture.

"I just want you guys to stop looking at me like I'm wounded, please." I stared into his eyes, getting lost in them instantly. I have never seen someone with such captivating eyes. Little green specs were scattered around his pupils and the blue was bright against the green specs. I was pulled out of my thoughts by his voice.

"We will. I promise. We are all just...angry and worried. Especially me." Anger flashed through his eyes but was quickly replaced by another emotion I couldn't identify. Guilt, maybe? He sighed. "He's not going to get anywhere near you. I swear." He smiled down at me. It was a weak smile and I knew why. I placed my hand against his cheek.

"Niall, this isn't your fault that this happened. Do you hear me?" He slowly nodded, never breaking eye contact. "You saved me." My voice broke at the end and a single tear slid down my cheek. With a shaky hand, he reached up, wiping it away with his thumb. A small smile spread across my lips. Neither of us said anything, we just stared into each other's eyes. The moment was broken by loud honking outside, most likely from Louis.

"Impatient bastard." Niall said with a laugh. He gently took a hold of my hand. "Come on, before he has a hissy fit." I giggled and followed Niall out to the car.

"Finally!" Louis yelled, throwing his hands in the air and climbing in the back seat, once he saw us walk out the door.

"Louis, stop acting like a child." Trinity grumbled, smacking him playfully on the back of his head. He pouted and crossed his arms across his chest. I shook my head at him and climbed in the passenger side of the Range Rover.

"Can we go to Nandos?" Liam questioned from the back, making us all shriek a loud 'YES' to him. Niall jumped into the drivers side seat, a big grin playing across his lips. He stared at me for a second, making my cheeks burn a deep shade of red.

"Niall! Stop making googly eyes at Emi and drive!" Louis impatient ass groaned from the backseat. Niall winked at me and started the car, heading to Nandos.

"I swear to god, Harold! Throw another piece of food at me and I will shave your head in your sleep!" Natalie snapped, playfully, pulling pieces of food out of her hair, just to throw them back at Harry.

"Okay! That's enough. We have something to tell the girls." Liam's voice was stern but he was smiling brightly. I gave Niall a weird look and he just smirked at me. "The lads and I are going to audition for X Factor." I choked on my drink and started coughing, loudly. Both Harry and Niall patted me on the back to help me stop choking. I held up my hands to have them stop as I took a deep breath.

"I didn't know you guys could sing." Trinity spoke up before I could say the same thing. The four boys chuckled in unison.

"There is a lot you don't know about us, but that's besides the point. The five of us are going to audition as a group."(Side note, I know this isn't how it happened, but stay with me.)

My mouth went dry and I felt like I couldn't breath. The five of them, that included Zayn. He was going to audition with them. I took a deep breath through my nose and exhaled out my mouth as Liam continued. "We want you three to go with us for support." He gave me a side glance, worry ran through his expression. I just looked down at my food.

"We think we can do this. We just want you girls to be there for us." Harry added, looking between all of us. Bile rose in my throat, but I forced it back down. I'm not going to let Zayn ruin my life. I'm not going to let him take my sanity. He's not going to get to me.

"I'm in. Natalie? Emi? You two in to go with them?" Trinity was beaming from the news, unlike me. I was trying to hold back the vomit traveling up my body.

"Hell yes!" Natalie squealed, clapping her hands. I kept my eyes on the table, trying to think straight. I could go and support the four boys protecting me, or I could just disappear.

No Emi, you're not going to disappear again.

My gaze went straight to Niall's. He was grinning from ear to ear and I couldn't help the smile tugging at my lips.

"I'll go." My voice was quiet but Niall heard me and pulled me to his chest.

"Yay! We are going to kill it!" Harry threw his hands up, and shouted. Niall's chest shook with deep chuckles at Harry's excitement.

"When is it?" I turned my body in the booth and laid my back against Niall.

"It's actually in two days." Louis finally spoke up in the midst of all the excitement. "We have to come up with a group name though." I chewed on my bottom lip, thinking of the different possibilities of names. Then it clicked. My eyes lit up and I had the biggest smile on my face.

"Oh no. Emi has an idea." Harry's eyes grew wide at my body jumping up and down in the booth. I playfully smacked him before telling them my name idea.

"How about One Direction?" I looked at each of them as they exchanged glances.

"That's perfect!" Harry threw his arms around me and hugged me tightly.

"That settles it. We are One Direction."

I apologize for being MIA. I have been going through a lot and I haven't had a computer. I know that they didn't audition together but just stay with me on this. I know where I'm taking this story. :)
