Stay True

Katie's POV
I feel a small shake on my shoulder.I open my eyes to see Darcy stand there with tears in her green eyes. i sit up and she sits beside me on the bed.

''What's wrong?''i ask and wipe the tears away.'''Daddy and me were gonna have a fun day,but he left.''she cries. ''He left?''i ask and look on my other side.No one.He's gone.

I pick up my phone and call him.After a few rings he answers,

''Harry,where are you at?''I ask.
''I'm at work...''he complains.
''Well,Darcy is crying because she wanted you.''
''She's..crying?''
''Yeah..''i mumble.
''Let me talk to her..''
''M'kay hold on..''i say and put the phone to her ear.

''Daddy wants to talk to you okay?''i say and she nods.

Harry's POV
''Daddy,why you leave?''she asks.
''I had to go to work...I'm sorry,Love,we can do something this afternoon.''i say.
''No...you promised Daddy!''I hear her crying again and Katie's voice telling her to calm down.

Then they hang up.I wish i could be there,with her.I had the whole day planned,until at 6am this morning when the boss called me.

I needed the extra paycheck. I need it.We need it.But,i shouldn't have left,but..there's nothing i can do about it now.

Darcy's crying about it and I'm pissed that i had to work today.I was selfish.I was just thinking about the extra money we could have,instead of my promise.
