Stay True

Harry's POV
I walk inside the house. Katie's in the kitchen, Darcy's sitting on the couch watching Sponge Bob.

Katie sees me and says,''Darcy,guess who's back...'' and walks into the living room to me.

I wrap my arms around her waist and she wraps her around my neck.

''I missed you.''I kiss her lips softly and she smiles but glances at Darcy.

''She still mad?''i ask.She nods.''Go talk to her..''she tells me and I let her go.

I throw my jacket down and walk to the couch. As i sit beside her,she turns the TV up, trying to drown out the noise.

''Darcy...love,'' I take the remote and turn the TV off. She puts her arms across her chest, just like Katie does.

''Listen to me..''i say and she shakes her head 'no.' I sigh and put my hands on her waist. I pick her up in a shift movement. I sit her on my lap and she doesn't look at me.

''Go 'way.''she mumbles.''No,You're going to talk to me,even if i have to make you.''i say and she pouts her lips out.

''Leave me 'lone.''she mumbles and hits my hand.''Darcy,don't hit..''Katie says from behind us.''Its okay,Babe..''i say to Katie and she nods.

''Tell me what's wrong..''i say.''No.'' ''Yes...' ''No,'' ''Yes.''i repeat.''I said no!''she whines. ''Well i said yes.''i protest.She lets a tear fall.

''Don't cry Princess...just tell Daddy what's wrong.''i say and wipe the tear away.

''You didn't come home..''she says lightly. ''I had to work...and i had to go to the gym.''i tell her.

''You always work! You never play with me anymore..''she says...

Her eyes start to tear up and the tears fall. I wipe them as they fall. She lies her head on my shoulder and wraps her arms around my neck.I stand up with her in my arms.

I walk up to her room and sit her on the bed.''Don't cry...''i say again.''But i sad..''she mumbles.''I know Love,I am too..i wish i could spent the whole day with you,but i can't..''I mumble and take her hand.

I feel my own eyes tear up,then tears roll down my cheek. With her other hand,she wipes the tears off my cheeks.

''Don't cry Daddy..''she mumbles.I lightly smile. ''I'm..sad.''i say and she nods.

The door opens and i look at it.Katie. ''You two okay?''she asks and walks to us.

She sits beside me and puts her arm around my back.''Yeah..''i mumble. ''Daddy was crying Mama..''Darcy says. ''You were crying?''she looks at me.I nod softly.

''But...I'm better now..''i say and smile softly at them.
