Surviving

All ten of us sat around the fire. I had learned all the names. Alexis, Violet, and Paige. I was proud of myself for building this fire, I hadn't even tried.

"Toni?" Niall broke the silence.

"Yeah?"

"Sing for us," Niall was the only one who ever heard me sing, it wasn't on purpose though. He walked in on me cleaning and singing.

"Why would she sing?" Harry asked.

"She's a beautiful singer like someone else we know," he continued to look at me, " go on."

I thought. What do I sing? I HOLD ON? no. EVERY STORM? Yes.

By then, Zayn joined.

I looked to Zayn, he was the one with the beautiful voice.

"Niall was right, you both have beautiful voices," Louis said.

"Thanks," Zayn and I said at the same time.

"Toni, can I explain what happened that day?" Zayn's voice from beside me said.

"Sure, got nothing else to do," I sighed.

"She jumped on me right after I showed up. She was kissing me and she dragged me to the room. You walked in on her kissing me, not vice versa. Everything is opposite to what she told you." he explained.

"I don't believe you."

"She threatened to hurt me and the guys if I told you." he continued.
Now that made me believe him. I wiped my eyes, realizing that I was crying, "I believe you." I ran off crying to the jungle.

I know that wasn't smart because it is night and we don't know what's in the jungle, but I don't care right now. My best friend lied to me and my boyfriend and I broke up and all our friends lost touch. It's her fault. She will pay.
"Toni?!" Zayn screamed my name.

"Right here."
He ran to me and stopped right in front of me. "Are you okay?" he asked.

"Yea, um... Not really." I told the truth.

I hugged him. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too."

I quickly kissed his cheek, and we walked back hand in hand back to camp.
