Rachel's P.O.V.

"Lia, do you want to talk about it?" I asked softly.

She shook her head, marching towards the bathroom, locking herself in.

I exchanged a worried glance with Lena.

"Relax, you guys go have breakfast and I'll talk to her.." Naomi told us quickly.

We were still worried but after a minute of convincing from Naomi, we left.

I ran my hands through my hair as we walked along the hallways, heading for the dining area.

"So what exactly are we doing today?" Lena asked, as we slipped into the elevator.

I shrugged in response, having no idea.

"I'm not really sure.. I don't think theres anything in particular planned" I replied.

Today was a pretty relaxed day as far as I was aware. There was nothing booked.

We slipped out of the elevator once the doors opened and headed straight towards the dining area. I was absolutely starving at this point.

As soon as we walked in, I spotted the Louis, Harry and Zayn at a table, talking in hushed voices.

"C'mon" I nodded to the the table as Lena and I made our way over.

"Good morning" I gave them a warm smile, sitting down next to Louis.

"Morning Rach" Harry nodded at me, his voice quiet.

There was an obvious awkwardness around the table, probably due to whatever happened with Lia and Niall earlier in the morning.

I took a sip of the cup of tea that was sitting next to Louis' plate, causing him to give me a mock glare.

At this point, Lena, Zayn and Harry had broken into conversation.

"So, what do you wanna do today?" Louis asked softly, as I took a waffle from his plate.

I shrugged.

"I don't really mind.. Where's Esmie and Liam?" I asked, noticing they weren't there.

His eyes widened momentarily before he lowered his voice.

"Esmie got this really weird call this morning and Liam wanted us to leave so he could talk to her about it" he told me.

"Well that doesn't sound good" I whispered back.

He nodded solemnly.

"I think maybe we should get out of their hair for the day. I was thinking we could go to that ice cream parlour we saw on the Champs Elysees. I heard you and Naomi talking about it but we weren't really on speaking terms.." he trailed off awkwardly.

I felt myself smile that he had taken notice of that.

"Yeah, sounds great" I agreed quickly.

"Perfect" he placed his hand on mine quickly and gave it a quick squeeze which sent a small shiver along the back of my neck.

He pulled his hand away, not seeming to notice my obvious awkwardness and continued eating his breakfast.

Well that was...different
