Lena’s POV
Today is the day we go to the Arc de Triumphed! Yay! I’m so excited! Zayn & I are really getting closer on this trip, I’m so pleased with how were progressing. The only things that have been getting me down, are the way Louis & Niall have been acting. Also, Naomi’s outburst. Nobody had a clue that she was adopted. But hopefully, this will all blow over soon. The girls & I decided to get up a little earlier and get ready for today's events. We let Rach sleep in a little bit longer than us because of all the hassle with Louis. We all know she feels really sad about it. The girls and I talked and we think that Louis & Rachael like each other. Yeah as friends you retards, but like, "like like" each other! Get it now? Good. Louis had been in this crazy mood. He's been having these stupid mood swings. He worse than a girl on her period. And Niall, nobody honestly knows what's up with him. He says one thing, but we don't think that's it. The girls and I think it's about Lia. I think he is starting to get feeling for her. But who knows! Boys are hard to read and get the truth out of sometimes. As we were almost done getting ready Rach got up and went to use the washroom, scene-as all of us were done with it. We decide to go get breakfast while Rachel was getting ready. We all leave, I'm sure Rachel will know where we went.
We all make our way to the second floor where breakfast was. When we get there, we see the boys already there with plates piled with food. We make our way over to say our "good mornings" & "hellos."
"Hey girls! Good morning!" Harry chimed.
"Hey guy! Morning to you too!" Lia responded. They all waved to us, except for Zayn. He stood up and came over to me and kissed my cheek slowly.
"Good morning love." Zayn said in a low sexy voice that made me go weak in the knees.
"Morning Zayn." I said with my face red as the strawberries in Niall's plate.
"Where's Rach?" Liam asked.
"Well. We let her sleep in a little, as were about to leave she got up and went to get ready." Esmie responded.
"Well. Okay!" Liam said while winking at Esmie. Esmie's face went pink with the gesture from Liam.
"I'm starving! We have a big day ahead of us. Lots of climbing! Which in turn means lots of energy which we get from food so come on!" Naomi said as she grabbed mine and Lia's wrist and told the Esmie to follow her. We grabbed out plates and got some of food they had laid out on the buffet bar. We piled our plates and us girls sat at a separate table from the boys. We were laughing and having a good time when Rachel finally walked in. She was wearing the red beanie that Louis had gotten for her. I guess Louis must have noticed because his face went from "oh!" To "oh." We all knew how Louis is feeling but he just won't come out and say it. I wish he would so all this drama would go away!
“Hey girls” Rachel says as she comes and sits down with her cereal & orange juice.
“Hey Rach! Have a good sleep?” I asked her.
“Yeah. It was fine! So… Arc de Triumph! Who’s excited? She yelled.
“We are!” We all answered simultaneously. We all finished out foods and stared our adventure to the Arc de Triumph! We had walked down the Champs Eylees which according to Zayn was the fanciest street in Paris. Zayn & I walked hand-in-hand to the Triumph. He is really growing on me.
“I present to you, L’Arc de Triumph!” Liam announced.
We had been walking forever and we were all exhausted. The Arc was huge! We had to walk up a small spiraling staircase all the way to the trippy top of the Arc. We had to take a tunnel under the road to get underneath it because the traffic was CRAZY. We started walk up and you just feel this pressure on the back of your legs. It was that steep. We finally made it to the top Rachel broke away from the group. Actually, I Think everybody kind of spread out, it was so breathtaking up here. This has now been deemed as my favorite spot in the world. I can see Louis and Rachel talking out of the corner of my eye. I see Louis saying a couple of words and then Rachel just responded by a bone crushing hug. I guess Louis is forgiven yay! I couldn’t help but smile.
“So. I guess Louis is forgiven?” Zayn says but not without scaring me first.
“Jesus Christ! Zayn Malik you scared the hell outta me!” I respond.
“You do you looked right at me right?” Zayn asked while laughing.
“Shut up! And yeah. I guess he is forgiven! Finally!” I laugh out. He nods his head and I look out to admire the view.
Zayn’s POV
This has to be my favorite spot! No, it’s not standing on top of the Arc de Triumph but its standing on top of the Arc de Triumph with Lena. She looks so perfect standing there just standing there looking out admiring the breathtaking view. I know. You’re wondering why I am not looking out at the gorgeous view. But right now, I’m looking at the most beautiful sight, Lena. She is really growing on me. I know after I took that bold move and kissed her, I feel for her even more. And I just have this gut feeling that Lena feels the same way about me.
Lena’s POV
We being our descend down. I don’t want to leave, I love it up here! The boys went first so that the girls could all talk without them. So we found out that Louis is officially forgiven! Yay! Niall is still being a little bitch but he’s getting better. Naomi is still a little off the group because we feel think she’s feels like she’s less liked because we found out she’s adopted. And Esmie is finally starting to warm up to the group. Were all best friends. Rach & I more close because we’ve been best friends for a long time. We talked and laughed the whole way down mostly to distract us from the steepness & from the highness. We finally made it down in one piece. Being on the ground felt so weird. It’s like the weirdest feeling ever. Our whole group is trying to walk normal but failing.
“That was so much fun! Let do it again!” Lia exclaimed
“Ha! Maybe next year!” Harry responded back with a sense of seriousness in his tone.
“SO! Who’s hungry? Niall asked.
“We are!” The whole group responded, well mostly the whole group. We all started to walk and hopefully find a place where we could sit down and eat. People are still upset with Niall, hopefully we’ll find out what the hell is wrong with him. And hopefully that’s sooner rather than later.
