Zayn's P.O.V
"what were you thinking? what if she recognized you?" Stefanie scolded me
"Calm down Stef, it's been years, I bet she doesn't even know my name anymore"
"that's what you think, Zayn what if she followed us? She could be following us right now"
"she's not following us, it's not like she follows danger around" Stefanie rolled her eyes at me as we continued to walk
"come on Stef, talk to me" I said after a while of uncomfortable silence
"fuck off Zayn"
"are you really angry enough to tell me to fuck off?" I gave her a charming smile and she couldn't help but smile back
"I hate you Malik" her arms wrapped around my neck as my arms wrapped around her small waist
she was perfect
"Just be more cautious okay?" She pouted
"I will be" I lightly kissed her nose and trailed down to her lips
"oh gag" I turned and saw someone in the trying to make it as if he weren't just spying on us
"excuse me" I said
"you could make your spying skills a bit better" He turned and sighed
"he didn't fall for the turn-and- pretend-you-saw-nothing method"
"we need a shorter name for that method" Sarah emerged from her hiding place which seemed to be under a car and the boy helped her up
"were you following us?" I could tell Stefanie was trying her best not to get angry and lose it
"I'm sorry, was our stupidly long method I'm too lazy to say or from me hiding under the damn car not obvious enough?"

I liked her
but Stefanie didn't
"sorry, I guess I'm just too stupid to notice" Stefanie said sarcastically
"yeah,I never know why girls study if guys go for the stupid ones"
"Sarah" the boy gave her a look but it was too late she had already said what she had said
"I'm sorry, are you too stupid to notice my sarcasm?" Stefanie faked a smile
"no, I noticed it, I was just being mean"
Stefanie glared and said
"let's go Zayn"
"hold up, you guys are protectors aren't you?"
"Is it that obvious?" Stefanie said
"yeah, it kinda is with you guys running from nothing, people would get suspicious"
"okay,stop the sass right there" the boy cut in and held Sarah by her shoulders
"we'll be leaving now" he said
"come with us" I said
"what?" Stefanie glared at me
"Come on, real protector training"
"sounds like fun, if I were five" She rolled her eyes
"what's wrong with protector training?" I said
"nothing, that's what's wrong with it, if you can't do something wrong at first then the point in doing it isn't right"
"what does that mean? Stefanie asked a bit angry
"the training you guys do is way too easy" she said
she caught me there
"come around, if it's too easy you can ditch it" I said
"you can even bring your pet along"
"excuse me?" The guy looked at me dead in the eye
"I'm her best friend"
"oops, sorry fluffy" I said
seeing him pissed seemed funny
"we'll go" Sarah said

"you were saying something about protector training being easy" I helped her up from her ass once again
"When I was going up against the others, damn, your good"
"it's all in the training" I answered as she threw herself onto me and tried to tackle me to the ground
but she ended up on the floor with her arms pinned down by mine
She got back up and she was ready to fight
"how did you know my name?" She asked
"I was your dads sidekick" I said
"how did you know it was me?"
"Easy" I grunted throwing her on the ground once again
"you look a lot like him"
my hot breath was on her neck as she was pinned down
"thanks" she said

"will you be back tomorrow?" I asked
"you know I will, I need to beat your ass" she smiled and walked away with her friend
"so much for being more cautious" Stefanie glared at me
"oh come on, she's one of us, it's fine" I said
"the guy is a part of her package"
"it doesn't matter Zayn, we can't have her around, she's still in training"
"we used to be in training, that didn't mean we didn't get any help from anyone"
"yeah, but Zayn-"
"don't be mean Stef, just because you don't like her doesn't mean she can't be a good protector"
