The protectors

Chapter 1

Sarah's P.O.V
I remembered the way his face was pale
my eyes seeing the sodomizer in the flesh
as tall as a man, fast too, it's eyes had no color at all, razor claws that would rip your throat
there was so much blood on the creature
protector blood
"Sarah, run" my dad managed to gasp out
"but-"
"RUN!" he yelled
those were probably his last words before I ran with a cross, one my dad would carry around, in my hands
after the thing was done with my dad it decided to go after me
it pounced on me and bared his sharp teeth
in the moment of panic I stabbed it with the cross and yelled "God help me!"
at the mention of God and having the cross in his chest it let a bloodcurdling howl and turned to ashes

Ever since that day Jeanine has taught me everything about protectors and how to defend myself
but I still carry my dads cross in case.

*years later*
"get your lazy ass up"
"don't you dare open the damn curtains" I mumbled
sunlight poured in and stung my face
"Andy, really?" I threw a pillow and aimed for his face, in the progress his glasses fell off
he laughed and bent down to grab his glasses
"get up don't you want to, I don't know, go out?" he asked
"it's early-"
"it's 12:37 A.M."
"stop interrupting asshole" I continued
"it's early,going out means we'll be around humans, I hate humans, but I make an exception for you, besides everyone will stare at my scar" I said
the day my father died the sodomizer left a scar on my neck
"no one will stare at your scar if you cover it,can you please get up?" he rolled his eyes
"let a girl sleep" I whined
"how the hell did you even get in here?" I asked
"Jeanine let me in" he said with a smirk
"oh, yeah I forgot Jeanine adores you"
I finally got up and dressed
without even bothering to brush my hair
Andy and I walked into the kitchen and without even turning around Jeanine said
"go brush your hair" I sighed and did a normal braid
"done, bye" I said
"aren't you gonna eat?" she asked
"we'll eat something out, bye Jeanine" I practically had to drag Andy out
"I thought you didn't want to go out" he smirked
"you know I can't stand Jeanine" I said
"and why is that?" he new what I meant
Jeanine was a great trainer but I don't consider her anything else
"don't act stupid"
"this isn't an act"
"you said it, not me"
he laughed and playfully pushed me to the side
I was about to fall when someone caught me
"careful little Sarah Lee" he said with a smile
all I managed to see of him were hazel eyes before he ran off with a girl
"you okay?" Andy asked
"yeah, I'm fine" I said
