Chapter 8- Suspicions
*a few weeks later*
Harry’s POV
“Harry, George is coming over to practice for his audition.”
Sarah said while walking down the stairs with the outfit which she just picked out.
I sighed, “I don’t see why you are helping him though. I mean I didn’t have any help.”
“His family wasn’t able to make it here. He isn’t that bad if you would take the time to get to know him.”
I rolled my eyes and plopped down onto the couch, “Whatever”.
Ever since Sarah met George all she does is spend time with him and help him with his audition. I don’t want him to take Sarah from me. Every time he comes over to practice for his audition she acts as if I don’t even exist. After they finish practicing they end up cuddling and watching a movie on the couch. She claims that they are just getting to know each other better but I think otherwise.
Almost as if on cue the door bell rang. She opened the door and hugged him. He then walked into our house.
“Hey Harry.” George said rather cheerfully as he walked by.
“Hey George.” I sighed. He gave me a rather concerned look before Sarah dragged him upstairs.
My phone rang and it was Simon.
“Hello?”
“Harry, we need to talk about something privately. Do you have time?”
“Sure, I guess so.”
I got my car keys. “SARAH, I WILL BE BACK IN A WHILE SIMON NEEDS TO TALK TO ME.”
No response, figured. I rolled my eyes and shut the door and got into the car.
Sarah’s POV
“With a taste of your lips, I’m on a ride. You’re toxic, I’m slippin’ under. With a taste of a poison paradise, I’m addicted to you, don’t you know that you’re toxic.”
“So that’s what you are using for your audition?” I asked him.
“Yes, why was it bad?” He said while frowning a bit.
“No, it was good. It was really good.” George let out a sigh of relief.
“Ok, you had me scared there for a second.” He took his hand off his guitar and fixed his hair.
“Are you ready to go?”
‘Yeah, I think so.” He said rather nervously.
“Don’t worry you will be good. They would be stupid to turn you down.”
I grabbed my keys and we headed to the car.
Harry’s POV
“But Simon, I don’t want to; what will Sarah think?”
“I don’t care what Sarah will think. You will get a lot of publicity for this and that is what you need at the moment.”
“I will think about it, ok?”
“You can think about it, but I need to know soon, because her manager wants an answer.” He said while getting a little impatient.
“Ok, I just need to take care of something first.”
“Well, you need to hurry. Call me as soon as you sort everything out.”
“Will do, bye Simon.”
I threw my phone at the bottom of the car. I haven’t had time to prove to Sarah that I will be there for her. She has been spending too much time with George. It is starting to make me suspicious. She says that they are just friends but I think she is seeing him.
I arrived back at our house just as George and Sarah about to get into his car.
“Where are you going?”
She looked at me, “George is auditioning at X-Factor and I am going with him for moral support.”
Moral support my ass.
“I thought we could hang out a bit though.” I said a little disappointed.
George got into the car. I walked over to Sarah.
“What is this like a date or something?”
“No, Harry I already told you we are just friends. If you don’t believe me then come along.”
“Fine, maybe I will.”
“Fine.”
We both got into the car and were on the way to X-Factor. Once we got there we all got out of the car and headed to the long line that was forming outside of the studio.
I walked off to find someone who would help me with my plan. If Sarah is really telling the truth then I will have found the proof to back it up. If not then I knew she was lying to me the whole time.
Sarah’s POV
Harry walked off to do something. George made it pasted the first 8 rounds and was getting ready to go on stage and play in front of the judges. They called his name and he stepped onto the stage.
“Good Luck!” He responded with a thumbs up sign.
Some guy walked up to me and started talking to me.
“Hey, what’s a pretty girl like you doing here by yourself?” The guy said while walking closer to me.
He started to run his hand up my arm. I pulled my arm away from him.
“I have a boyfriend so back off.”
“Who? Harry. I heard you two broke up.” He said while backing me into a corner.
Just as I was running out of ideas of what to say, George found me cornered by the guy.
Harry’s POV
This is it. If she says that she has another boyfriend then I know that she was lying to me. Just as she was about to answer, George walked over to where she was.
“Is there a problem here?” He asked the guy I hired. I think his name was Jaymi. I gave him a wire so that I could talk to him and tell him what to say.
“No, there is no problem here. I was just asking if this pretty lady had a boyfriend and obviously she doesn’t.”
George budded in. “Actually, she does have a boyfriend.”
“Oh yeah, well then who would that be?”
“That would be me.” George stepped closer to her and took her hand.
She looked confused a moment but then stepped behind George so that she was shielded by him.
I took the mic in my hand and said, “Tell her you don’t believe it. Tell him to kiss her to prove it.”
Jaymi then looked at them, “Well, I don’t believe you, how about you kiss her to prove it.”
George looked at Sarah, and then turned back to Jaymi.
“I don’t think that is necessary.” Sarah said.
Jaymi scoffed, “Obviously he isn’t your boyfriend then. C’mon it’s just one kiss. If you kiss then I will leave you both alone.”
Sarah looked at George while biting her lip. He whispered something in her ear and she nodded.
“Fine.”
That’s when it happened. He kissed her and she kissed him back. My heart stopped. So she did move on. Fine, I guess I will carry on with Simon’s plan. It’s not like she will care anyway. I stormed out of the building.
I picked up my phone and called Simon.
“Simon, I’ll do it.”
Harry’s POV
