Niall’s view:
She is picking Harry. I'm going to lose her and this freaking competition. She talked about knowing him and I'm so screwed. If only Harry would say he didn’t want her anymore. She was hesitating on who to pick. I looked at the crowd which was yelling several different things but then I heard something. Everyone was yelling and screaming, “Niall, choose Niall!” I heard several things about Harry but mostly everyone was saying ‘Niall’. I stood up and waved them to be louder. The entire crowd erupted with even louder screams. I glanced at Harry and he was glaring at me so I glared back and looked back to her. I didn’t want the crowd, or her, to notice the rivalry we had going.
“I choose…” She looked back and forth from Harry and I to the crowd. She looked scared. She took a deep breath and shakily brought the mic to her lips. “I choose…” She repeated herself but then stopped again.
“Who do you pick??” Louis basically yelled.
“Niall.” She said and pointed to me. Everyone cheered and Zayn gasped. I looked down the line at the boys and when I got to Harry he just looked plain pissed. I smirked and stood up to go hug her and welcome her to my team. As I walked to her and her to me, Blake was narrating.
“Niall snags his first contestant. Izallouis Rae is now on Niall’s Green Team.” Blake said with that voice he has to use to sound enthused. We reached each other and I hugged her. It felt so good and I just wanted to mold like this. She was short but I was shorter for a guy so it seemed to fit.
“Thank you.” I said in her hair.
“I can't wait to see how we do.” She giggled. Her voice was perfect but I could tell she was crying. Every time, all four or five times, she has been crying when I talk to her. I squeezed her once more and let her walk off.
“‘One Thing’ is sponsored by –” Blake said and then everything cut to a commercial. Rae came out to help some of the boys with a touch up and I excused myself to the restroom. Liam gave me a heartfelt smile and I could tell he was proud of me again.
