It Never Ends

Breaking Up.

*Louis’s POV*

The boys and I were able to beat Claremont in a score of 3-0. It made the girls team cry in sadness, but also in happiness.

They didn’t advance in the playoffs, but we did. And it’s better to have one team go further instead of none at all.

Ariana gave Zayn a good, and sloppy ‘congratulations’ kiss. Niall, Liam, and Harry’s girlfriends’ cheered their boyfriends’ during and after their victory.

And my ‘girlfriend’, Jenna, was out with her friends and a couple of guys from the tennis team.

But the girl of my dreams, illianna, was nowhere on the field. Not even to congratulate her brother, the other guys, or me.

I played my hardest for her. I made sure we won just for her. Just like she wanted me to. And now she isn’t around.

After our celebration, I hurriedly scraped my feet across the field. I didn’t bother to put my sweat suit back on or take my shin guards off.

The guys and girls were going to Ariana’s house, as she was throwing a victory party for the boys.

But they can count me out. I needed to make things right.

I wanted illianna to be mine during my last year of high school and I am. I have my plan made, and the first thing that needed to be taken care of was Jenna.

“Lou, Ariana is having a party. You aren’t coming?” Niall asked me, zipping up his sweat jacket. His girlfriend, Monserret, standing next to him pulling on her varsity jacket.

I was currently making my way to my car to place my bag in, and meet up with Jenna.

“No. Not tonight. Something came up and I have to go. Sorry.” I apologize.

“It’s about Lily, isn’t it?” Niall reckons.

It’s obvious that the whole team knows about us two.

“It’s about Jenna.” I assure him, knowing that the whole thing will lead to illianna.

“Oh, you’re breaking up with her?” Niall’s face brightens, a smile forming. He interlocks his fingers with Monserret.

Monserret’s mouth opens in shock. She wants illianna and me together as well.

“Er, try not to tell everyone.” I convince him, knowing he will tell Liam or Harry. And Monserret will definitely tell all the girls.

“Our lips are sealed!” Monserret cheers.

I sling my sweat suit and bag over my shoulder and smile at the two. “Thank you. This will be a surprise for Lily.”

“Yes! Go win your girl Lou!” Niall and Monserret encourage.

“Thanks Niall.” I say hugging him. “You too Monse.” I hug her as well.

I walk away from them and make it to my car. My athletic bag isn’t important to me so I toss it in the backseat after pulling my phone out of it.

After I get situated in my car and leave the stadium, I dial Jenna’s contact. Hopefully she was at her house so it would be an easy move.

“Baby!” Jenna sings.

“Hey, where are you?” I ask impatiently.

“At my house, alone.” Jenna answers seductively.

I roll my eyes. She is not about to threaten me with a good time.

“I’m coming over right now. We have to talk.” I respond.

“Did you win?” she giggles.

“I’m coming over.” I ignore her question and hang up.

I throw my phone in the passenger seat and turn my radio on, The Killers blasting from my speakers. Many questions piled up in my head such as ‘how is Jenna going to react?’ or ‘will she find out about illianna?’, and most importantly, ‘where was illianna?’

But the sooner I get finished with Jenna, the more time I’ll have for illianna.

-

I pulled up to Jenna’s driveway next to a black Nissan Maxima, killing the engine and stepping out.

Which was weird, as Jenna’s Nissan Maxima was burgundy. But I’m not concerned about car colors right now. Its night time already or maybe I’m just starting to lose my eyesight already. But it doesn’t matter.

I’m not nervous about what’s going to happen or am feeling bad about it. This needed to happen and it was going to happen right now. As a matter of fact, it should have never happened.

I waited at Jenna’s doorstep, ringing the doorbell and knocking softly. She wasn’t answering and I figured that she was already in bed. It’s past eleven, almost midnight to be exact. But I was still sticking through on my plan.

I rang the doorbell three more times before the front porch light turned on. Jenna opened the door, tightening her bathrobe around her waist and yawning. She was sleeping.

“Hey, you took a long time and I fell asleep.” She greets me. “Come on in.”

Time to break it to her.

I step inside and follow her into her living room. I sit on a couch that was poorly disturbed. It looks like somebody was ‘fooling’ around on it. Jenna snuggles next to me.

“Did you guys win against Claremont?” Jenna asks again, looking down at my attire. I was still in my soccer uniform.

“Yeah. 3-0.” I nod. Jenna claps her hands and smiles.

“Sorry I wasn’t there. I’ve just been so busy with cheerleading.” She lies.

I make my first move.

“I need to tell you something.” I begin.

“Tell me.”

“I’m going to come straight out and tell you this. I’m breaking up with you.” I say bluntly, showing no remorse or mercy.

Jenna’s eyes widen and she scoots way from me.

“But, why? What did I do?” she pleads.

“Nothing. I just don’t want to be with you anymore, and it was fun for the two weeks that we dated. But I’m going my separate way.” I reply casually.

“That’s it?! That’s not even a good reason to leave me!” Jenna pouts.

“I’m sorry. But I don’t think that we are good for each other.” I sigh, getting up from her sofa.

“Don’t leave me.” Jenna whispers, grabbing my hand.

“We’re over Jenna. You can find someone else.”

I fight my hand away from Jenna’s and walk to her front door. I feel a little bad, but breaking up with Jenna gets me a couple steps closer to illianna.

“Jenna?” a male voice calls from the upstairs.

I turn back around and tilt my head against the staircase.

“Jenna, babe. Where did you go?” the male calls again.

I look at Jenna with a quizzical expression. Her eyes wider since I broke up with her, a splint second ago.

“Who could that be?” I ask appalled. I know that she has another man up in her room.

Jenna remains on the couch and I decide to take a quick run up to her room, just to see who this mysterious man is.

I hike my way upstairs with Jenna running after me, yelling.

“No, Louis! Please don’t!”

I bolt all the way to the top step and through her bedroom door.

James Oliver, a varsity baseball player was lying in Jenna’s bed, naked to say. A can of whipped cream in is hands, with the cream being spread across his torso, leading to his package, covering it.

James looks at me in awe, embarrassment on his face. He drops the can from his hands.

It all made sense now. I knew that Nissan Maxima in her driveway was black. And that someone did actually fool around on the couch. And why Jenna took so long to answer her door, making sure her bathrobe was tight on her.

She had already cheated on me. And now I really don’t feel bad about her crying.

“Louis?” James asks, looking away.

“James?” I ask amused. I look back at Jenna, utter humiliation written all over her body and face. “Jenna?”

None of them answer. James continues to lay on the bed, not bothering to cover himself up, his creamed manhood still in view.

It’s pretty obvious what Jenna was about to do to him.

“I didn’t know you were this skilled with your mouth Jenna.” I joke. Her face heats up.

“You cheated on me. Good thing I called it quits.” I say. “Wait till everyone finds out about this.”

James shoots up from the bed. “Lou, please.”

“I’ll see you two on Monday.” I cut him off. “Goodnight, James and Jenna.”

I turn on my cleat-heel and leave a dumbfounded James and Jenna behind. This had to be the best thing that’s happened all day.

I make my way down the stairs and out her front door. I climb back into my car and mentally cross out number one on my imaginary plan list.

I got rid of Jenna, and she cheated on me. So that made it a bit easier to win illianna.

But now I have to do number two on my list.

And that’s having an appropriate conversation with Zayn, concerning his sister and I.
