Chapter 1- The Party

It was the last day of high school and Kyla was so pumped. She and her best friend Hannah were celebrating by having a huge party with friends from school and family. “I am soooo excited for the party tonight I can’t believe this is it!” exclaimed Hannah happily. “I know I mean I wonder what our parents got us.” Kyla wondered out loud. Earlier in the week by giving her older brother Eli a bunch of music Kyla found out that Hannah’s parents And Kyla’s parents had bought something for the both of them together. “Yeah I bet it will be something lame like t-shirts that say ‘we survived high school!’” The two best friends laughed like crazy both thinking that was true. RING! RING! The school bell announced the ending of the day. “OMG! Its over we will never walk these halls again as students or slam our lockers here or check out the cute boys from our lockers *sigh*” said Kyla. (Hannah’s and Kyla’s lockers were right across from the boy’s locker room they had gotten lucky that year). “So it’s time to PARTAY! But first we have to get ready” Hannah exclaimed. The pair walks down the block to Kyla’s house where the party would be held both of their outfits were already there. They went into Kyla’s mansion of a house equipped with a games room, theatre, recording studio, pool house, hot tub and 5 guest rooms. Kyla and Hannah headed up to Kyla’s room to get ready. They both took showers because it was a hot and sweaty day in Orange County, Florida. Kyla started to get her make up on just the usual one layer of mascara and a layer of lip gloss. She changed into her outfit for the party. Since it was a formal party Kyla and Hannah had gone dress shopping a week before. In the other room Hannah was putting on her makeup she had the same as Kyla one layer of mascara and lip-gloss. Hannah wore a cute also strapless dress that was blue satin and went to her knees; the bottom part was like a tutu. (As seen in the picture of the dress) Hannah pinned her hair up and let a few of her blonde curly locks hang loose in front. When they saw each other at the same time they said, “You look AMAZAYN!” They both burst out laughing at their play on words Zayn was Hannah’s favourite band member of one direction. They looked out on the balcony to see how many people had shown up (the party was outside on Kyla’s deck). There were a lot “my mom warned me that we wouldn’t know a lot of people she even said that family from Ireland are coming!” Kyla squealed she loved accents. They went downstairs to the party everyone was having a great time. Finally it was time for their surprise present. “I am so excited I have no idea what it’s going to be!” exclaimed Hannah. Mrs.Willms (Kyla’s mom) gave each of the girl’s large envelopes. “1...2…3! We both started tearing at the envelopes. What came out of them were a dream come true in each envelope there were one direction front seat tickets to their concert in New York City, Plane tickets for to and from New York City the date said they were leaving tomorrow, a map of how to get to our 5 star hotel and Backstage passes to meet one direction! Both girls just stared in awe at their gifts. Then all of a sudden they both ran over to their parents and nearly tackled them to the ground with hugs and kisses. “THANKYOU SO MUCH!” we squealed and jumped up and down crying tears of joy. After we calmed down a bit our mom’s explained what was going to happen. “You are leaving tomorrow your plane leaves at 5 in the morning.” Said Hannah’s mom. “You will then be picked up by your aunt Caroline and she will take you to The Mark hotel where you will be staying for two weeks” squealed Kyla’s mom. “On Tuesday you guys will go to the concert it starts at 5. You will be taking a limo there it is all set up.” Said Hannah’s mom excitedly while nodding at Mr.Telford (Hannah’s Dad). “The rest of the week you can ENJOY!” They concluded together. We decided that we would pack after the party. An hour later an unfamiliar lady came over and gave me the hugest bear hug ever. “Um.. hi.” Kyla said awkwardly she had no idea who this was. “Oh I am sorry love I am your auntie Maura.” She said with a thick Irish accent. “Oh nice to meet you I am- but Kyla was cut off. “I know who you are silly! It is your party after all!” my auntie Maura interrupted. Kyla smiled at her and they started to talk about what Kyla was planning to do after the trip. “Hannah and I are planning to move to London in August and start schooling there next fall! I am going to take business managing and acting while Hannah is going to take designing and theatre agency training. We are planning that I will become a famous actress and she will become my agent. Then after 10 years we will retire and open a book/clothing store!” I explained. “Well you seem like very smart girls for planning practically your career life out! But remember not everything goes as planned!” She kissed me quickly on the cheek then she was gone. Finally the party was over and it was time to pack.
