So Much For You
Flight to Ireland
“Hi beautiful, how’d you sleep?” he asks with a smile. I let out a sigh before slowly sitting up in bed and placing the palm of my hand underneath my chin as I prop my elbow on the pillow.
“I slept alright, still tired,” I say with a slight yawn. He smiles and pecks my lips before scooting over toward me and leaning forward. I smile as he rests his forehead against mine as he stares into my eyes. He smiles back at me and mutters a soft “I love you” to me. I mutter it back to him with a smile.
“How did you sleep, babe?” I ask as he pulls away, his grip still tight on my waist.
“Pretty good, I slept pretty well since I got to be next to you,” he tells me with a smile as he leans forward and kisses my forehead.
“What time does our flight leave?” I ask curiously as I pull him down beside me and wrap my arms around his bare torso atop the basketball shorts he was wearing. He presses a soft kiss to the side of my neck as he looks at me.
“We have to be there by eleven, our plane takes off at Heathrow at one, love,” Niall says as I stretch out my arm to grab my phone off the table beside the bed. I smile to myself as I feel Niall’s lips on my outstretched arm, trailing them down my arm on my skin. Goosebumps would soon be where his lips were currently occupying.
I press the home button on my white iPhone 4S to see that it was almost nine-thirty. I set it back on the table and smile a bit to myself as Niall continues to place soft kisses on my neck.
“Want to get up and start getting ready, babe? I’m going to go down and grab some clothes from my bag so I can get ready,” he says looking at me.
“Okay,” I say as I swing my legs over the side of the bed and stand up, Niall’s arms still tightly around my waist. I give him a smile and peck his lips before I go over to the closet so I could find something to wear. I wanted to be comfortable since we would be on a plane going to Ireland. Niall walks over and pulls me in to a sweet kiss.
“Be right back, babe,” he says and kisses my forehead before he heads out the doors of the room I was staying in. He left me standing in front of the closet staring at the clothes while I wonder what to wear.
“Okay, babe,” I tell him with a smile as I turn and begin to decide what to wear.
After a few minutes, I decide on a simple pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt with a pullover hoodie 0ver it. Once I pick out my outfit along with my undergarments, I decide to go take a quick shower. After my shower, I put on my clothes and toss the other ones in the dirty clothes hamper before I brush my teeth, gargle mouth wash and fix my hair. I decided to wear a hint of makeup, some blush on my cheeks and a light touch of eye makeup, mascara and a little bit of eyeliner.
As I walk back in to the room I was staying in at my grandparents, I notice Niall sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for me. A cute smile came across his lips as he looked at me as I walked through the door. I smile back just as wide at him as I walk in the room. He wore some dark jeans, a blue shirt that made his eyes pop and a pair of Nike Dunks on his feet.
“Ready to go, love?” he asks with a smile as he stands up and wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer to him. I nod with a smile and lean up and kiss his lips.
“Greg texted me and said he’ll be waiting to pick us up at the airport whenever our flight gets in,” he tells me as I walk over to grab my duffel bag which was on the floor next to my bed.
Niall takes my bag from my hands and puts the strap over his shoulder as he grabs my hand as we head out of the room I was staying in at my grandparent’s house. After we made it to the bottom of the stairs, we walk in to the living room to find Charlotte sitting on the couch with Louis.
“Hey mate! Uh – what are you doing here?” Niall asks looking over at the brown haired boy who sat next to my sister.
“Hanging out with Charlotte, what else does it look like mate?” Louis questions as me and Niall notice him scoot closer to my sister and takes her hand in his.
“Are you two together?” I ask with a smile as I look at Charlotte and then over to Louis who was beside her.
“Yeah, we are; we were going to mention it when we were all together but then you said you were going with Niall so…” she says and gives us a small smile.
“Charlotte caught me up and told me about your mum, Niall, I’m sorry mate, I hope she gets well soon, don’t forget to tell her the lads and I are thinking about her,” Louis says with a small smile on his lips as he looks at us.
“Thanks Louis, I will,” he says with a soft smile before pressing a kiss to my head as I feel him pull my body closer to his.
“Well Isabelle and I should get going; our flight takes off one,” he says as we look at Charlotte and Louis who were sitting on the couch.
“We could drop you off at the airport and I can take your car back to the flat later,” Louis says as he stands up pulling my sister up with him.
“If ya don’t mind, mate; it would mean a lot,” Niall tells Louis as we head over to the door. He was still holding on to my bag that was resting on his shoulder.
“It’s no problem, Nialler, really, now let’s get going shall we?” Louis says as he and Charlotte follow us outside. On the way out to Niall’s car, I hear my grandma call my name. I turn to see her standing there, a small smile on her face.
“Be safe, Isabelle. And Niall, I hope your mum is alright,” she says and pulls both of us in a hug.
“Thanks,” he mutters in a soft tone as we part from the hug.
After we tell her that we’ll be safe, we head over to his car and put my bags in the back along with his. We all get in his car and head to Heathrow which was close to thirty minutes away. Niall and I were sitting in the back while Louis was driving and Charlotte sat next to him in the passenger seat.
“Can’t you go any faster, Lou? I’d like to get there before our flight so we don’t miss it,” Niall pipes up loudly as he sits up and leans his elbow on the console as he leans forward to get Louis’ attention. Soon enough, the car is sent forward quickly.
“That fast enough for ya, mate?” Louis jokes as he looks back at us through the rearview. Before we know it, we finally get there. Louis pays for parking and finds a place to park Niall’s car.
After Louis parks the car, we all pile out and get our bags from the back. Niall wraps one of his arms around my waist as we head in to the airport, Charlotte and Louis following close behind us. We get in line so we could check our bags in. After we pay to check them in, it was time for us to say goodbye to Louis and my sister for the time being.
“Both of you have your tickets, right?” Charlotte asks as she hugs me tightly. I give her a nod as we pull away.
“Be safe, you two,” she and Louis tell us as we stood close by the security.
After we tell them we’ll see them soon whenever we get back, Niall and I head toward security. As we get behind some people to wait to get through security, I feel Niall pull me closer to him. I hoist my Vera Bradley purse higher up on my shoulder and decide to put it over my head so it came across my chest and rested on my shoulder.
“Love you, beautiful,” he whispers to me as he pushes some of my loose hairs out of my face and puts the strands behind my ear. I smile as he leans in toward my lips and mumble an “I love you too,” against his lips as he presses his lips against mine in a soft kiss.
We finally get through security and find a place where we could sit and wait to be called for our flight. While Niall and I wait for our flight, I decide to listen to my music and rest my eyes as I rest my head on Niall’s shoulder.
“Attention passengers! This is your captain speaking. Please prepare for landing by securing your safety belts. Hope you all had a safe flight. We should be landing at Dublin soon.” the booming voice clicked off the intercom. The loud voice over the intercom brought me out of my deep sleep. I slowly open my eyes and wipe sleep from them as I turn to Niall and lightly nudge him in the arm.
“Niall, babe, wake up; we’re almost here,” I tell him softly in his ear. He shifts in his seat and slowly opens his eyes. They soon gaze up into mine; he gives me a bright smile, showing his teeth. I couldn’t help but grin back at him.
“I’m surprised your awake, love,” Niall said as each of us clicked our seat belts in to place while the plane readied for landing.
The plane began to circle the air as it prepared to land. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Before we know it, the same booming loud voice comes over the intercom again telling us it was safe for us to begin moving off the plane. Niall and I stand up and grab our things we brought on the plane with us from the overhead compartment. I slip my backpack over my left shoulder as Niall grabs me by the hips and pulls me toward him so I could go ahead of him. He was moving close behind me as we made our way down the aisle of the plane in to the gate in the airport.
Once we made it inside the airport, we begin to search for his brother. Niall turns to me and grabs me by the waist pulling me closer to him as he leans forward and captures my lips in a kiss. I smile as I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him back as I pull him closer to me.
As we part from the kiss someone abruptly calls Niall’s name. Our heads shoot up in the way the voice came from. Niall immediately grins at whoever he spotted; who I’m guessing had to be his brother, Greg.
“Hey mate! How’s it going, bro? Who’s this pretty lass you have here?” He says with a smile as he comes forward and pulls Niall in a tight hug. They part a few minutes later and Niall wraps an arm around my waist as he looks at me and then back at the guy stood before us.
“Greg, this is my girlfriend Isabelle,” Niall says with a wide smile as he looks at his brother who smiles brightly at me.
“’Tis nice to finally meet you love, heard lots ‘o good things 'bout you from Niall here,” he says and pulls me in a hug that was very welcoming and warm.
He was so nice, and I could tell that I fit right in with his family, I still have yet to meet his mum but I’ve heard she’s a real good mum to Niall and Greg even though he’s a few years older than him.
“Let’s go get your bags then we’ll be on our way to see Mum,” he says and puts an arm on mine and Niall’s shoulders as we follow the signs that led to the baggage claim. It takes a good twenty minutes or so to get our bags before we are on our way to wherever their mum was, or shall I rephrase, what hospital she is at.
Niall and I get in the back seat of the car after Greg helped us put our bags in the back. We were now on our way to see his mum where I would finally meet her for the first time. So many thoughts went through my mind on the drive over to wherever we were going.
