“Is it true that Michael was cheating on Danielle with you?”
“When are you releasing a new album?”
“Are you in a four way relationship with the boys?”
“Is it true you’re a lesbian?” What?
The paparazzi had unfortunately found out the time of our flight; and although we were entering through the back door and travelling on our private jet – they always find a way to ask their obscure and personal questions. My sunglasses were replaced over my eyes in hopes to reduce the temporary blindness from all the camera flashes that you never quite get used to. Calum grabbed my bags from me, placed them on a trolley with his belongings, and pushed it ahead of me, allowing me to follow him to the location of our terminal.
The flight wasn’t too long but it dragged out because I was exceptionally bored. That was almost a weird thing for me because things are never boring with these boys, never. They slept throughout the whole flight, having ‘accidentally’ not packed until they started last night. Except for Ashton, he was organised as usual. He and Chantelle were looking all couple-y the whole flight and I was not about to become a third wheel so I left them alone.
Miraculously the paparazzi didn’t show up for our arrival so we managed to sneak into the hotel in peace. A flirty (slutty – who said that, it wasn’t me?) staff member – she was flirting with Calum mainly but the other boys received a bit of it too – lead us up to our room, informing the boys that she would be on call for anything – emphasis on anything – that they needed during our stay. I hope they wouldn’t be that stupid to take her up on her offer, STD’s aren’t desirable. Abstinence is key children.
I had unpacked the belongings I would need during the short time we were here when there was a knock on the main door. Management tended to book us into hotels where we would have one massive room – basically like a mini house – with separated bedrooms. I skipped over to the door and swung it open, only to jump into the arms of the male outside.
“Harry!” I cheered as he spun me around. Truthfully he was like the hot cousin you couldn’t have because a. incest is a no-no and b. it just wouldn’t work out. I could still admire him from a distance though.
“Hey Billy, what’s been going on?” he asked as he put me down, allowing me to invite him into the sitting room.
“Too much, let’s not even ask that question. What’s been going on with you? Where are the other boys?”
“Just the usual, writing and recording, trying to stay out of trouble, all that kind of stuff you know. And god only knows where those boys are, Zayn’ll be sleeping or talking to Perrie, Niall will be out and about getting a feel for our location, Liam will be getting organised and because Lou hates being alone he will be with one of them, most likely trying to annoy the hell out of Liam.”
“I’m not even surprised. What brings you here?”
“Can I not hang out with my favourite chickadee?” He’s on the stranger side of the population.
“My chickadee,” the sound of Calum’s morning voice sounded from behind me and the couch beside me dipped a few seconds later, Calum’s arm being thrown around my shoulders. Harry looked between the two of us before his lips curved into a knowing smirk.
“And when were you going to tell me this?” He asked in a teasing tone.
“When you earned the right,” I smirked back.
“What’s going on?” A sleepy, shirtless Luke asked as he walked into the room. I couldn’t even respond to his question, too busy eyeing him up and down. Yes, I have seen him shirtless before, but it was a pleasure every time. What did I just say? My observations, however, got cut short as Luke pulled a shirt over his head, hiding his beautiful skin from the world. And more importantly – my eyes.
“-Isn’t that right Gabby?” Harry asked in a mischievous voice as I drew my attention back to their conversation.
“Sorry, what? I was a bit distracted…” I mumbled awkwardly, avoiding eye contact with the others in the room whilst attempting to hide my blush with my hair.
“I noticed, I said that we were going to go out to get some food for everyone, right?”
“Oh yeah, ok, let me just get some shoes and fix my hair.”
“Don’t take too long!” He called after me but I was already in my room.

“When you said earlier that you didn’t want to talk about what’s been going on, I didn’t realise it was that serious."
“What do you mean?” I tried to play off innocently but I don’t think Harry will fall for it.
“You know exactly what I mean. You want your boyfriend’s best friend. This is not the Lily I last spoke too.” Fuck you Harry. Not literally… ok maybe literally too.
“It’s erm, complicated. You don’t want to know.”
“Just make your mind up, the worst thing you could do is lead them both on.”
“I’m not leading them both on though, you don’t understand. I don’t want to think about this mess I’ve gotten myself into ok, could we just leave it at that. I’ll tell you when you get me drunk ok, it’s bound to happen sometime.” He cracked a smile at that.
“Ok, ok, sorry. I didn’t realise you were so stressed about it all. Is it weird that two of your best friends have feelings for you? It’s not a situation I’ve ever really been in before.”
“What do you mean two of my best friends?”
“Uh, your boyfriend Calum and Luke obviously.” I guess Chantelle really wasn’t lying. Damn.
“Can we just not discuss this topic anymore, we can ruin my day another time once I wrap my head around everything.”
“Sure, just know that I’m here if you ever want to talk about it or anything else. Now let’s order and get back before they question what took us so long.” I nodded in agreement and that’s exactly what we did.

The tour was finally underway and I was so excited that I could bring my girl along with us to show her what really happens. Chantelle was resting her head on my chest as we lay on my bed, unwinding and taking the time to relax before the mayhem officially begins, because let’s face it – chaos is a day to day thing here. I was threading my fingers through her hair when I had a thought.
“Chantelle?” I asked quietly in case she was close to falling asleep.
“Mmm, yeah babe?”
“Have you been keeping up with the Calum, Lily, Luke drama?” I asked, thinking back to a conversation Calum and I had a few weeks ago.
“As much as I can, it’s quite difficult though. I have no idea what runs through their brains. Lily and Calum are still together as far as I can tell, and Lily still doesn’t feel the same about Calum as he does for her. At least that’s what I can gather.” I cursed under my breath, he’s an idiot. “What wrong Ash?” she asked, resting on her elbow and brushing some of the hair out of my eyes.
“Calum told me he was going to end it with Lily ages ago. He finally grew some brains and was letting her go but he hasn’t done anything yet. What the hell is wrong with him?”
“Ash, calm down. It’s not our battle. I know we can interfere here and there but let’s not make it our life. They will sort it out eventually. If you are really worried, just talk to Calum and remind him. He may have another ulterior motive for staying with her or he just forgot about your little conversation. It’s Calum, you never really understand what’s going on in his brain.”
“I just wish it would never have come to this, this unnecessary drama. It’s totally ridiculous. Everyone who has seen Luke and Lily together know that they are meant to be, Calum himself knows it. Why can’t he just let her go and make both his best friends happy? Why does he have to go into these spurts of jealousness and ignorance when he can see the truth in front of him? I can’t stand it when he gets like this. It’s like he doesn’t even notice the effect it has on everyone else around him, on the band.” I vented, knowing I could trust Chantelle with everything.
“You worry too much for your own good sometimes Ash. You need to relax and find something else to spend your time thinking about.”
“I think about you all the time though baby.” I grinned at her and she blushed, leaning over me with her hair creating a little curtain around our faces.
“You’re a little too cheesy.”
“You love it so why does that matter?” I asked her smugly and she rolled her eyes. “That’s right, it doesn’t.” I licked my lips and brought her face closer to kiss her when there was a knock on the door. “I fucking hate whoever that is.” I mumbled, slightly agitated that our moment was ruined. My beautiful girlfriend on the other hand, was not fazed by the guest and connected her lips to mine, pulling on my hair as she kissed me passionately. My hands fell to her hips and she began to pull away.
“You better get the door, wouldn’t want to keep them waiting.” Cheeky little bugger.
By the time I made it out of my door, however, the door had been answered by a very shocked looking Lily. The reasoning behind her expression soon made herself clear.
“I guess you can say that the party has arrived.” Gabrielle announced, standing in the way of a fairly grumpy looking Luke who was struggling with his ‘girlfriend’s’ baggage.
And I agreed with Gabrielle, the party had begun. The drama party. God damn it.
I knew exactly what I had to do. “Hey Cal, can I talk with you for a moment?” I asked and he looked a little worried as he nodded and followed me back into my room leaving Chantelle and the others behind.
