Needing You

"Everything in life is too hard and no one seems to care!" I shout at the top of my lungs, wiping the tears from my cheeks.
Harry takes a step forward and wipes the tears, letting his hand cup the side of my face. "I care."
I sniff, "Everyone says that. They never mean it though...if they did I would still have a best friend, a family, and-" Harry's eyes go wide and he cuts me off, shouting.

"You have me. Isn't that enough? Am I not enough?" He starts to raise his voice and I whimper, sliding my back down the wall, letting the knees of my jeans soak up my emerging tears.
Harry continues, raging, "I've tried to make you happy! I stayed up and talked to you all night! I was there when you were crying, drunk at a party with complete assholes! I have been helping you since day one and you have acted like I was nothing, no one! I mean, what the hell?! I liked you, and y-you j-just..." he trails off, I look up he was now tearing up with his fists balled to his side, "You liked that dick, Conner, he didn't care about you..."

I stand, placing a hand on the back of Harry's neck. He looks away from me and I slide my other hand around his neck, connecting it to the other. "I'm sorry..." I say, hushed.

I nuzzle my head on his chest, "I'm really, really, sorry." I whisper to him.
He lightly chuckles, "You don't care. Remember, no one cares."
"But I-."

He breaks away from me. "I'm sorry. I can't-" He stops himself. "you need to leave."

I don't take waste a minute running to the front door, tears rapidly falling from my eyes as the cold spring night breeze nips at my skin.
I turn back to Harry's house.

"Bye..." I say and dial the number to a one way ticket out of here. "Hey, Zayn?"
