Sami's P.O.V
"Okay, you can do this Samantha" I said to myself
"you can tell your best friend that your asshole of a brother is cheating on her"
today I had to tell her, no matter what she had to know
"Sarah" I called from outside
Dom was probably at work by now
I should be at work too but this seems more important
"hey Sam" Sarah opened the door
"hey I need to-" I was quiet when I saw Dom sitting on the couch, he looked serious and seriously bruised
it looked like he had been punched in the face
"what's wrong?" Sarah asked
"I need to speak with you privately" I said
"I guess I should go then" Dom hugged her but she pulled away
she looked like she wanted to burst out crying
"bye" Dom left
"Sarah, this is going to hurt you and I need you to know that I love you no matter what, you're probably gonna think I'm lying but here it goes"
I sighed and blurted it all out
"Dom is cheating on you with someone else!" I said
"I know, who do you think beat the shit out of him?" she slowly started crying
"you do?" My eyes went wide
"he told me this morning when I woke up" she wiped the tears off her cheeks
"I'm sorry" I hugged her
"come on, let it all out" I said as she cried her eyes out on my shoulder
"I love him Sami" she cried
"I don't care if he's my brother, he's not worth loving" I said
"I feel pathetic" she wiped her tears
"you want me to call someone?" I asked
and by someone I meant Zayn
"I really just want to be alone" she cried
"okay, I'll come check up on you later" I said
when really I just wanted to burst into tears with her
Zayn's P.O.V
"Sarah?" I walked into the house
"Sarah?" I reapeted her name again
where the hell was she? The door was open and it looked like hell had been in the house
there she was
crying her eyes out in the living room
blood was trickling down her wrists and she looked pale
"Sarah" she looked up and immediately covered her wrists
"Z-Zayn" she stuttered
"what happened here?" I asked
"I-I did it" she choked back a sob
"angel, come here" I opened my arms and she ran into them
"what happened?" I asked
"D-Dom is ch-cheating on me" she sobbed
"son of a bitch" I muttered
fucking asshole, what I would do to have her affection the way he did
"look at me" I cupped her chin in my hands
she looked up, her usual hazel eyes were red from all the crying and her skin was pale
"he doesn't deserve you, I would kill to have a woman like you next to me, if he can't say your imperfections are perfect then he doesn't deserve you" I said
"Zayn" she just said my name and hugged me tight
After a while of being in my arms I felt her grip loosen up and her eyes were closed
"Sarah" I shook her
nothing
"Sarah!" I said louder
"fuck" I carried her to the car and carefully placed her in the backseat
"Zayn" she started to open her eyes a bit
"it's alright, I'll get you to a hospital" I said
I drove as fast as I could and came into the hospital with her in my arms
yelling for help
soon enough she was taken and I was left with blood all over from her wrists
*2 days later*
"Sarah Arreola's family" the doctor said
Sam, Niall and I got up
Sami's eyes were red from crying
Niall came because of her
and I hadn't been able to stop smoking from the worry that was consuming me
"one of you can go in to see her now" the doctor said
without a word said I got up and followed the doctor to her room
"Zayn" she murmured my name
"hey, angel, are you alright?"
"I'm fine" she put a hand on my cheek
"have you been crying?" She asked
I nodded
"and smoking?" She looked like she wanted to kill me for smoking
"yeah" I sighed
"Zayn" she groaned
"please don't smoke"
"please don't cut"
she sighed
"I promise you this won't happen again if you promise you won't smoke again" she said
"deal" I said
"why do you worry so much about me?" She smiled
in my imagination I said 'because I love you' and I kissed her
but in the horrible, fucked reality
I just smiled and said
"because you're my angel" and I kissed her head
