“Where are they?” Liam’s finger pats on the stirring wheel impatiently. “They’ll be out soon, relax. You’re making me more nervous, Lee.” He chuckles all of a sudden, while I look at him in deep confusion. “What’s so funny now?” He replies, calming his laugh: “You just called me Lee, just like my aunt does. (He smirks) I think she’s affecting you.”
I roll my eyes, and smile timidly. “She’s a part of this, and I could never thank her for what she has done for me. (I wave my hands expressively) I mean look at me! I never imagined I’d look like this; not even in a dream.”
Liam shakes his head, allowing his answer to flow out of honesty: “You were always pretty, all she did was a little highlighting.” I reply to him in a funny matter: “Awe! Lee boy thinks I’m beautiful?” He laughs harder, allowing a shade of light pink to cover his cheeks. “He knocks on Liam’s window) Perrie started walking down the isle. Let’s move.”
Niall’s breathless command makes us jump out of the car, to rush to the door. I lift my dress up, so I won’t trip over the shiny fabric; marching in fast footsteps with the rest. The four males look like different characters of Disney’s princes. Each one of them is in a black tuxedo, looking dashing more than the other.
It’s funny how I first met them; we were all late teens; just in our casual wear, filled with futuristic optimism. “Hold it right there. (We all freeze at his command) You four could go in, but I need the lady’s name to verify before entering.” The guard is stern, tall and scary for a male body; he doesn’t have any positive emotions on his face.
“(He whispers in my ear) Just like we planned, go for it, love.” I nod to what Louis spoke, placing my heels up on the first step. The guard places his tough hand on my shoulder, making me stop immediately. “I think I said I need you to verify yourself, Mademoiselle.” Immediately, I point backwards so the guard could turn around. Once his face stares backward, Both Liam and Harry’s fists meet his face. The guard falls down like a tall building, and is welcomed by Harry’s endless punches.
I’ve never saw Harry this hostile, but I know deep down he doesn’t mean to hurt the man. Once the guard is knocked out, Niall and Louis wrap the rope all over his body; making his move denied once he wakes up.“Hardest part is done, lads. Now, let’s go inside for the big finish." Liam commands in happiness of success, as they all nod.
“(He points at both Harry and Liam) Take Jan inside. Niall and I will take care of changing the guard's location for now. (He looks at Niall) Shall we put him beside the garden over there?” Niall nods, as they start dragging the zoned out body to the designated area. “Come on Jan, we need to speed up.” My right hand lifts my dress a little, as I walk up the steps with my two guy friends. Guy friends, no I don’t think it satisfies their roles. They are... saviours, helpers, guardians; brothers even.
The unity that I share with these boys, has grown much larger than it was when I first met them. If I would have had a brother, I’m positive that his treatment wouldn't be a match to those four boys. They are so helpful, caring, and down to earth to the most level of modesty. But my goal is the fifth member of this group. He is no brother, he is my true lover. I’m coming to save you Zayn; I’m coming my gracious knight of honour and beauty.
