“God, why does it take so much time for them give us our keycard!” Oh yes, that whiney person is no one other than the diva, Perrie Edwards. Liam nudges my shoulder, while we both chuckle under our breaths. To be honest, we are tired from the long flight, but still not to the extreme to give the French people a slice of British sass. My phone vibrates in my hand, and I lift the screen to read the text:

Sent at: 11:05 pm
“Please don’t sleep. I’ll make sure that Perrie is snoring, then I’ll come over. Besides, in any minute; you’ll get the surprise I got you.
Ps: I love you. x”

I lift my eyes at Zayn, as he sends me a quick-playfully wink. I pray that no one noticed it, and I hope they don’t notice me blushing right now. “C'est la clé. J'espère que vous apprécierez votre séjour à l'Hôtel Plaza.” He hands Perrie the key cards, as she stares at him, like he transformed to a goat. “(She says it like he is deaf) Do you speak English?”
Everyone stands in silence, and I feel its time to butt in to save the upcoming scandal. “Merci, monsieur. Pardonnez-moi d'avoir une sœur stupide. Il intellegance est limitée à l'alphabet.” The receptionist male laughs loudly, as I giggle myself. The rest looks at us like we are aliens, but they don’t even know what I just said.
Perrie looks at me like they just announced me the winner of prom queen, clearly envying my fluent French. “Alright! I’m sure we are done here. Let’s head to the rooms.” My stepmom announces, as she takes the cards from Perrie, and distributes them.
“S'il vous plaît patienter, Miss Cette clé est pour la suite qui est réservée pour vous.” The receptionist hands me a special card, telling me that this one was uniquely reserved for me. I nod slowly, while I thank him. I turn my head, as Zayn does a kissy face at me, and I finally understand that this is his surprise.
We all head upstairs, but Zayn intentionally walks slower so he can reach my speed. Perrie doesn’t seem to notice that he isn’t by her side, as we walk the last to the elevator. “(He whispers) Why were you laughing with the guy? (His face worries) Was that twat flirting with you?” I roll my eyes, giving him a light shove. “I told him to forgive me for having a stupid sister. She has an IQ level to memorise the alphabets only.” Zayn’s face expression is rigid, but then his laughter roars uncontrollably.
“Shhh, calm down.” I giggle with him a little, as I rub his shoulder against mine.“Why do I get a separate key though?” I ask him in wonder, as he smirks. “You’ll know when you get there, babe.” I nod as I thank him with my eyes. As messed up as our situation is, we can’t be torn apart for some reason… and you know what? I love that we can’t, even if it is forbidden.

I'm so sorry for being late to post the updates today guys. I was welcoming guests that came to give their condolences. I hope you forgive me, and hopefully tomorrow I will try to post them earlier <3 As for today's notes, well I have one thing to focus on. Some of you might not know french, but don't worry if i didn't translate or mention what it meant, the it isn't that important. All I wanted to show, is that Janelle is a fluent French speaker (Y) <3
