“Make yourself comfy. I just need to slip into something more casual.” I tell Zayn once he enters my apartment. I have imagined him being here with me, living on our own without any sort of disturbance; it came true. “Nice place.” He speaks once his eyes scan the interior of my apartment.
“Thank you. (I point to the direction of the kitchen) Feel free to grab anything you need from the kitchen. I’ll be right back.” I enter the bedroom, and close the door immediately after me. I sigh heavenly, feeling that things are going to be better tomorrow. I convinced Zayn that we shouldn’t drive back to South Shields at night. It will be better to start from the early morning.
I contacted my boss about my urgent holiday retreat, and all he did was laugh. He was arguing with me for coming back just after a week off, and now I guess he feels satisfied that I am on the vacation mode again. My boss is a really kind man, rare to be exact.
He is the one that keeps pushing me for a holiday, and not denying me from my right like other cruel bosses. I slide off my skirt, and start unbraiding my side ponytail. “(He speaks behind the door) Elle? Where are you cups?” I smile hearing his hypnotising voice, and clear my throat before replying. “First drawer, beside the sink.” I hurry up in changing, as I place my contact lenses on.
For once, I blush powered over my face, and smile through the mirror. I feel so happy, almost unbreakable; now that I have Zayn for myself and no one else. “(He knocks for the next time) Babe I’m not taking you to an operatic musical, are you done yet?” I laugh as I ruffle my wavy brown bangs, and slide my light heels on (http://www.polyvore.com/mystery_color/set?id=117314730&lid=3453986). I open the door, as a body falls right on the floor. I try my best to stop laughing, but I can’t; Zayn was leaning over my door and his fall was an epic moment.
“(He whines) Yeah, Yeah. Keep laughing instead of helping your love up.” I shake my head, and breathe out deeply to calm my laughing senses. I offer him my hand, as he takes it to stand up straight. “Why were you even leaning over the wall?” I smirk while I question his action, and his face gushes in a shade of red. “(He stutters shyly) I um… I was… Ugh never mind!”
We both laugh at his confused reply, but suddenly everything stops when his arms snake around my hipline. “(He stares deeply into my eyes, and speaks in a soft voice) I love you, you know that right?” I nod in silence, allowing both of us to enjoy this moment.“I’m going to give you something, but before that; could you promise me something?” I nod yet again, amazed by this romantic knight in front of me. He slides a tiny box out of his jeans’ pocket, and takes the piece of jewellery out. He takes my left hand in his, and slides the ring slowly (http://www.polyvore.com/ring/set?id=122631906&lid=3453986).
He picks up my hand to place a tender peck on it, and then he speaks: “Promise me that no matter what happens, this ring will never leave your finger till the day we are under one roof.” I stutter not knowing what to say, since all of this is surprisingly instant: “Zayn I-…” Zayn doesn’t wait till I finish explaining, and he repeats softly: “Promise me, Elle.” All that I can do right now, is gaze deeply in his eyes, and bob my head in silent acceptance.
