Rachel's P.O.V.

Once out of the bathroom I went in search of Louis. I needed to sort this out with him, pronto. I was feeling so horrible for just leaving him hanging like that. I had completely frozen when he said it. I hadn't even muttered out a polite 'thank you' like Emily had done in Friends. I wasn't fully sure why I had reacted so strangely. Every fibre in my body was telling me to just say it back. It was only three little words after all, nothing I couldn't handle. However I just couldn't. My mouth wouldn't form the words.

For some reason I seemed to have the worse luck when it came to relationships. I suppose at this point I was fearing any form of commitment. Had I have told Louis I loved him I would be giving him full opportunity to hurt me. Being that vulnerable again was something I wasn't sure if I could handle. It was probably one of the reasons I had taken so long to admit how I felt about Louis in the first place. I was afraid of being hurt.

"Louis, can we talk for a minute?" I asked once I found him. Of course he was with a rather large group of people, who all turned to look at me.

He looked a little reluctant but then nodded.

"Sure.." he trailed off, looking a little awkward.

I took hold of his arm nonetheless and dragged him away from the group, pulling him to a corner in which no one could over hear us. I took a deep breath once we had stopped walking.

"Look Louis about what happened before-" I began but he cut me off quickly.

"Can I just say something first?" he asked.

I just nodded dumbly, kind of relieved as I had no idea where I was going with it anyways.

"Rach, I'm not gonna lie, I'm not sorry about what I said. I do love you and I'm not gonna pretend I don't. And I do understand that you're not quite there yet and that's fine.. You don't need to be. I just need you to know that I'm serious about this, about us and that I'm not going anywhere-" He went off in a rant.

I cut him off quickly by pressing my lips to his. His mouth opened in shock for a second and then suddenly he was kissing me back, his arms wrapped around my waist bringing me impossibly closer to him.

I grinned as we parted.

"You're amazing Louis.." I told him honestly as his forehead pressed to mine.

"Well duh" he replied, causing me to roll my eyes.

"You just ruined it" I mumbled. "You just ruined the moment"

He chuckled.

"Yeah, yeah" he muttered, kissing me again softly.

"C'mon they're doing the speech's now" I told him, pushing him away from me slightly so that we could walk back over to where my mother was just about to start her speech.

The speeches went on for a while until Niall stood up to close them off. When he finished, he kissed Danielle with such passion that I felt my heart melt. They were so perfect for each other. I actually couldn't believe that our parents hadn't noticed earlier. Or Harry either. It was insanely oblivious of them. Since the moment they had met there had been something there. And Niall was right, without Danielle pushing it he probably never would have been able to defy Harry. When it came down to it he was incredibly loyal. To Harry and now to Danielle too.

"So, a little diva huh?" Louis pulled me out of my train of thought with a nudge.

I rolled my eyes.

"You know I'm honestly not all that surprised to be honest. You seem the sort to get what you want when you want" he continued, his tone teasing.

I narrowed my eyes at him slightly.

"Oh shut up" I mumbled, sipping the champagne that was on the table.

"I can imagine you dressed in one of those little princess dresses with the tiny high heels and a plastic tiara. You know I bet there are pictures.. I should really ask your mom-" he cut off laughing when I smacked him across the head.

"You wouldn't dare" I muttered.

"Oh wouldn't I?" he challenged as I took another sip of the champagne

"You suck" I stuck my tongue out at him and he just chuckled.

He rolled his eyes, standing up quickly and pulling me along with him. I barely had a chance to put my glass down as it had been so sudden.

"What you doing Lou?" I questioned as he dragged me out onto the dancefloor.

"I want to dance with you at least once properly. Without making a total fool of myself" he explained.

I laughed.

"Please. Have you seen yourself dancing? You'll make a total fool of yourself anyways" I shrugged.

He raised an eyebrow.

"Oh cause your such a good dancer?" he teased.

I nodded.

"Yeah actually I am" I replied falsely cocky.

He grinned widely.

"Oh yeah?" he asked, spinning me suddenly, causing me to burst out laughing.

"Prove it" he added with a smirk once his eyes met mine.
