Danielle’s P.O.V

I have been up for a while. I have been debating on whether or not to cancel the wedding since it would be tomorrow. I am losing hope he was supposed to be here. It’s Thursday and he is not here.

I decided that I would get up and eat something. Once in the kitchen I decided on eating cereal. I ate most of it until the light from the kitchen window caught my ring. I looked down at it. In 24 hours there was supposed to be another ring joining this one. A smaller one but I didn’t think that was happening. The wedding has just become a distant memory in my mind having gone through it so many times in my head and how tomorrow was supposed to play out.

I let out a sigh as I stare back at my bowl of cereal and bushing the last few cheerios around. I started to get out the guest list and decided that I would spend the rest of the day calling everyone and telling them that the wedding was off.

“You should be sleeping.” I heard Rachel say from the entrance to the kitchen.

“I know I should be doing lots of things that I’m not doing now.” I said to her with a small laugh at the end of it.

“We have done everything we can. We just have to wait now and pray that they locate the plane.” Rachel said rubbing my back and I just nodded because I know that there was nothing more I could do.

“I know. So when will the lads be over today?” I asked Rachel since she kindly picked up the girls and the guys from the airport.

“The guys will be here around nine, so in about three hours. The girls on the other hand will be a bit longer they are getting mani pedi’s.” She said grabbing some breakfast and joining me.

“I’m sorry that I have pushed you away. I just shut down and I felt like I couldn’t even control my own body. I never meant to push you away I’m just have had a hard time coping with this.” I said because I have pushed her away.

“I understand.I couldn’t even begin to understand how traumatized you were and I got mad at you for not talking to me but I didn’t understand what was going on with you. I understand now. I guess I’m not used to you not being strong because you always are.” She said and I just leaned my head on her shoulder.

“I know. Thanks for being strong for me though. Well I really should go back to bed. You are right I need to sleep or at least try to.” I said giving her one last hug before heading up to Niall’s room to try to get some more sleep.

When I woke up and looked at the clock I realized that the boys would be here already. It was almost ten now so it’s been about an hour since they said they would be here.

I threw on more of Niall’s cloths before dragging myself downstairs. Once at the bottom I could hear that they were in the living room. I started in that direction and when I reached the entrance to the living room all the eyes turned to me.

“Dani!”Harry said getting up and pulling me into a huge hug. I quickly wrapped my arms around his torso and we stayed there for a while not saying anything. I just relished in my brothers comfort and how much I missed him.

“Oh Dani. I wish I could have been here sooner and… Oh don’t cry.” Harry said pulling back and wiping the tears I let fall away once he hear my soft sobs.

“I’m just happy to see you that’s all.” I say and he places his forehead on mine before kissing my temple and guiding me into the room more.

He went back to sit on the couch when Louis got up and walked up to me. This ought to be good.

“Wow Dani…. You look. What’s the word for it? Horrible.” He said and I giggled a little and smiled a bit but it never reached my eyes.

“Thanks Lou you always make me feel better.” I say to him and he just laughs before pulling me into a hug.

Liam and Zayn also give me hugs saying some kind words before Harry pulled me and sat me in front of him and started to give me a back massage.

“Thanks Haz.” I said when he started. I didn’t know how tense I was till he made me relax. I guess I have been stressing out too much I just hope it hasn’t hurt the babies.

“That looks like it is taking some stress away, Dani.” Rachel said and I just nodded leaning my head forward and closing my eyes. I felt really good right now and I haven’t felt good in what has felt like forever.

“Ya it has to be better on the babies.” Lizzie chimed in before covering her mouth with her hand because she knew that I wanted to keep it a secret.

Everyone shot her confused looks and Harry stopped massaging my back and looked at her too. They all had a look of confusion on their faces.

“I’m so sorry Dani.” Lizzie said but I know she didn’t mean to and they would know sooner or later.

“It’s fine Lizzie. They all were going to know sooner or later.” I said and looked up giving her a small smile to let her know I wasn’t mad at her.

I turned around on the floor and sat so I was facing everyone and I cleared my throat thinking about how to say this so I just decided that I would bluntly say it and not beat around the bush.

“Well Maura made me a doctor’s appointment yesterday because she was afraid that I was putting too much stress on the baby so I went in for a sonogram to see if he or she was still healthy.” I said as Maura walked in with a bunch of snacks for all of us. She also handed me an envelope.

“Here are the pictures of the sonogram.” She said smiling at me because she knew that I should just show them rather than tell them. I gave her a nod in appreciation before she left to get the other trays of shacks.

“Well here take a look for yourselves.” I said handing Harry the pictures first while all the guys gathered around him.

“Your baby is deformed Danielle. It has two heads.” Said Louis.

“Ya and two sets of feet.” Zayn chimed in after obviously not getting it but then I say Harry scrunch his nose and look at all the photos again.

“You’re having twins?” Harry asked looking from the pictures to me.

“Yes I’m having twins.” I said and gave a small smile to Harry before looking at the others.

“Deformed? Really? That’s what comes to mind when you see two heads?” I ask Louis and Zayn while taking the photos and putting them back in the envelope and putting it next to the TV.

They both just rolled their eyes and sat back down and watched more TV. I gave them all a speech that no one is to know about this and that if or when Niall returns that I will be the one to tell him and all of them quickly agreed.

Then the girls walked in a little after my speech to the guys and I greeted them before realizing that Abby was here and I gave her a huge hug and told her to never leave me like that again and to at least keep in touch if she was going to leave.

Later after we all caught up I was lying with my back on the ground while I had my foot in Harry’s lap because being the wonderful brother he is he was also giving me a foot massage. It felt amazing because they were sore and a little swollen. I was getting really relaxed almost to the point where I was about to fall asleep when I heard what must have been Maura scream and drop something and then we heard loud sobs coming from what I think was the front of the house.

Everyone shot up and Harry helped me up which took more effort than usual, due to the fact I was almost asleep, as we followed the pack to where we heard Maura hoping that she was ok.
I couldn’t see because everyone was in the way but once everyone looked back at me with shocked faces I started to feel concerned and well I really hope that everything was ok.

“I… I just… I thought I lost my baby.” I heard Maura say in between sobs. Everyone else looked back at the scene that I still couldn’t see. Damn these tall guys.

I heard Maura stop crying and then everyone parted to both sides of the front hall, parting so I could see that was going on.

That’s when I saw the most beautiful angel ever. I slowly walked forward and I felt everyone’s eyes on me. I wasn’t sure if I was dreaming or not so I proceeded carefully.

“This must be heaven. I must be in heaven.” I said caressing his cheek. “Is this real. Is it really you? Because if this is a dream, may I never wake up again.” I said starting to sob.
“It’s not a dream my love.” He said and smiled. Oh that smile how it lit up his face. I found myself truly smiling for the first time in what felt like a long time.

I then launched myself on him wrapping my legs around his torso and my hands finding fists full of his hair puling his face closer to mine.

I smashed my lips onto his. The kiss was forceful and lustful. My tongue found its way into his mouth without asking for entrance. I stayed there in his arms exploring every inch of him that I could in this position.

I started to cry while the kiss continued. I have never felt so happy in my whole entire life. I started sobbing and I was very out of breath. He put me down but didn’t let go of me. We stood there for a while in each other’s arms.

“I’m here now. Shhh. Everything is going to be alright.” He said and I just nodded because I am not only breathless still but speechless.

“I love you so much Danielle.” He said and I pulled away to be able to see his beautiful blue orbs looking into mine.

I placed my hands lightly on either side of his face before lightly leaning up to kiss him again pushing as much love behind this kiss as I possibly could.

“I.. I love you too, Niall.” I said looking into his eyes. They were filled with love but I could see that he was still scared but he was back home, he was with me.I feel like I have finally seen the light and he’s it. Niall is the light in my life.

Once the initial shock was over he hugged all the lads and the girls and we headed back to the living room where I attached myself back onto him afraid that if I let go I would lose him again.I was leaning against the arm of the couch with my legs draped over Niall’s legs. I had one hand on the back of his neck playing with his hair. He had his arm across my thighs and I had my other hand entangled with his. His other hand draped over my ankles.

Niall’s P.O.V

I was cuddled up with Dani in my lap and I finally felt warm again. I felt right here in her arms. I was home and I finally felt at ease.

“What happened?” Louis asked after a while of just sitting there and being in my own little word with Dani.

“Well when the pilot lost connection he had to manually navigate and told everyone that we would be flying into the nearest airport and to buckle up. Nothing was seriously wrong with the plane it just wasn’t safe to be flying with no connection to the control center the pilot said.” I said closing my eyes as I felt Dani take hold of some of my hair and twist her fingers more into my hair. It felt so good.

“We landed in Scotland and it was a rough landing in a very small airport. Some people got concussions and there were a few scrapes but other than that everyone was safe but they wanted to make sure so as much as I wanted to get to the next plane that would take me here they wouldn’t let me go till I was cleared by the hospital. I had to go through scans and a bunch of other stuff to make sure I was internally fine. There was a lot of people that had to be checked out from the flight and I was not in their top priorities so I had to wait. They cleared me around six this morning after they got my results back and said I was perfectly healthy and I caught a cab that would take me to the airport and I flew straight here. I am so very sorry I didn’t call or anything but my phone didn’t quite survive the landing and there was really no phone to use besides the ones in the hospital which were all in use.” I said and everyone just breathed a sigh of relief. I knew that everyone was worried.

“I just have a couple question.”I said and everyone looked back at me before I looked at Dani. She pointed at herself and I nodded. She was just so cute.

“One, why are you in my clothes? Not that I don’t like it because you are very sexy.” I quickly added and she just made herself smaller.

“She went into a state of depression when she found out. Been in your cloths ever since.” Rachel said which made her blush. I guess she was embarrassed or something.

“Oh Dani. I’m so sorry for making you worry like that.” I said and she sniffled a little and I opened my arms and she leaned into them and nestled herself there.

“I overheard Rachel’s phone call with Louis… Well not all of it but she thought I did and she told me that you were coming to surprise me but they lost your plane. I just remember I screamed and then everything went black. I woke up in the hospital a little while after. I’m in your cloths because they still smelled like you.” She said in a shaky voice trying to hold back her tears.

“Oh god. You are ok? The baby’s ok right?” She nodded and I breathed a sigh of relief.

“I went through a rough patch after that.” She said into my chest.

“A rough patch? It was more serious than that.” Rachel said then turned her gaze from Dani to me before she continued. “She moved from sharing a room with me to your room. She stayed curled up there all Tuesday till I yelled at her and how she was going to kill the baby if she didn’t start eating again. She went to the doctors that night to check on the baby to see if he or she was still healthy.” Rachel finished.

“Is he or she healthy?” I asked in a very concerned voice pulling Dani away and placing my hand on her stomach. She just nodded and that was enough. I pulled her close again and she stayed buried in my chest while answered some of their questions. When I looked around the room all I saw were relieved faces.

“Oh and secondly. Do we still have a wedding?” I asked and my mum shook her head but let out a giggle which made me raise my eyebrows at here.

“Ask Danielle.” Was all my mum said. I looked at her and she looked upset.

“I was about to call everyone and tell them that the wedding was off. Everyone kept telling me not to because you put a lot of money into this.” She said softly and I caressed her cheek before placing my forehead on hers.

“I was hoping that everyone would keep you from doing that. I did put a lot of money into this. More than you probably wanted me to. Every time you said that something was too expensive and you tried to find an alternative I went and bought the original one you loved. I just wanted to make the wedding a dream come true for you.” I said and she smiled at me and then gave me a light smack on the arm.

“What did I tell you about buying me expensive things? All I need is you.” She said and I just chuckled. I pulled her in close to my chest again and she didn’t oppose and she wrapped her arms around my torso as I held her close.

Danielle’s P.O.V

I was buried into Niall’s chest still not believing that he is here and he is safe. I didn’t know what time it was and I really didn’t care either. Conversation fell back to normal after the shock of him being back went away.

I was just listening to him breath and his heart beat and it was like a sweet melody to my ears.I felt all the stress and worry leave my body and soon I started to fall asleep.

“Well I think I should get her to bed. We do have a wedding tomorrow so she should be in bed early.” Niall said standing up bring me with him. I almost forgot about our wedding.

“That’s a good idea. Normally the bride and groom are not allowed to be together the eve of their wedding but I think we can let it slide this time. Just make sure that you two are separated by tomorrow. It’s bad luck if you see her before the wedding.” I heard Maura say as I nuzzled more into Niall’s chest as he picked me up bridal style.

“Ok mum I promise.” I heard Niall say but I really hope he would break that promise because I don’t want him to leave.

We were soon in his room. He placed me under the covers while he got ready. He pulled off his top and his pants leaving him in his boxers. He then found a pair of sweats and climbed into the other side of the bed and pulled me close.

“It’s alright I’m not going to go anywhere. You can sleep.” He said kissing the top of my head.

“I don’t want to because I still feel this is just a dream and when I wake you will be gone again.” I said and kissed his chest.

“I will stay till you sleep and maybe a bit longer. I don’t want to break tradition. I promise you will see me tomorrow as the sun sets I will be the one waiting for you at the end of the aisle.” He said in a sweet voice.

“What time is it?”I asked because I want to know how much time I have left with him.

“It is six pm. The boys want to go out for drinks to celebrate my last day of being a bachelor. They want to leave around ten.” He said. I did the math and that’s four hours till he has to leave. I didn’t like that but I know that I need the sleep if things are going to go over well tomorrow.

“Kiss me?” I asked as I pulled back a little and looked into his eyes.

“You never have to ask.” He said pressing his lips gently to mine.

The kiss was sweet. I truly missed the taste of his lips on mine. I deepened the kiss by pulling him to me. I pushed my tongue into his mouth before grabbing fists full of his hair and pulling lightly. Once I was out of breath i pulled back. I quickly moved off and cuddled into his side.

"Don't ever try to surprise me again. Ok?" I said into his chest.

“I promise. Good night my princess. I love you to the moon and back.”He whispered as he wrapped his arms around me and I slowly found myself drifting off into slumber no matter how much I fought.He had a way of doing that to me.
