Day Dreams (Louis Tomlinson)

~*Crystal's POV*~


It's been a few weeks, and things have flowed on smoothly. Zayn found a girlfriend, Perrie, and the boys have been having fun with me. It's been a real blast, but there are those moments where I feel useless, and hopeless. Right now, we were casually strolling through the park nearby, all 7 of us. The boys, me, and Perrie.

"Louieee!!!" I whined, as he held my phone up to where he couldn't reach it.

I may be tall, but Louis is just barely taller.

"Now, missy, you've been on your phone way too long!" He fake-scolded me.

I looked down, and shed a few fake tears.

"I thought you trusted me.." I said, using my best acting skills.

He obviously didn't see through the acting, and bent down and looked up. I took the opportunity to snatch my phone out of his hands, and run away.

"HEY! Crystal!" He yelled, chasing me.

I ran and his behind Niall, who was very confused about the situation.

"Hide meee." I whispered.

"From who?"

"From Louie!"

"Why?"

"Just hide me!"

"But I'm hungry."

"That's no excuse!"

"It is to me!"

"Hide me!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Haha!! Hide me, fool!"

"Damn you, reverse psychology.." He muttered, and hid me.

But it was too late. I felt a hand yank on my newly dyed hair, and turned around to see Louis, his face angry, but his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Crystaall..." He said in his 'scary' voice.

I huffed, "Fine."

I put my phone in my pocket, and we ran to catch up with the others.

"Soo... Where do you wanna go?" I asked the group.

"I dunno. How about.. Coca's? We haven't been there in a while, and I think it's construction is done." Niall suggested.

"Mmk! Let's gooo!" I said, skipping ahead a bit.

They all followed me, and we ended up talking for a while. After about 5 minutes, we found ourselves in a Truth or Dare game... again. I still remember last time, when Harry wore my bra. I chuckled at the memory, but snapped out of my thoughts at the sound of my name being called.

"Crystal! Truth or dare?" I heard Liam ask me.

"Umm.. Truth." I replied.

Harry frowned at me, and I just smiled back cheekily.

"Do you fancy anybody in One Direction?"

"NO!" I answered back a bit too quickly.

I felt my face heat up, and I forced the blood back down. All the boys went "Oooo!" but I slapped the closest one on the shoulder, which was Zayn.

"Owwie!" He yelped.

"Hmph!" I said, stomping my foot.

"We're almost at Coca's!" Harry said, pointing at the new and improved Coca's Cafe. (5th one down.)

"It looks awesome!" I said in awe.

"Yeah.. A lot better than before." Niall murmured.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go in!" I said, jumping through the doors.

When we stepped in, it was a bit crowded, but the cafe looked amazing. My jaw dropped, and so did the other's. We got a booth, and I went to order the drinks. The line wasn't very long, and soon I came face to face with Kobey.

"Crissy? I-I mean, Crystal?!" He asked in disbelief.

"It's me, Kobey! It's been forever!" I exclaimed.

"I've missed you so much!" He said.

"You too!"

We hugged a bit, and chatted at the counter, telling each other about our 'adventures' from the last few months.

"You wanna sit with me and the others?" I asked.

"Sure! It's actually my break, too, so I'd love too!" He said.

He handed me the tray of the steaming liquids, and we both walked over to the table.

"Hey! I got your drinks!" I announced.

"Who is that?" Louis asked me.

"Him?" I gestured to Kobey, "That's Kobey! He works here, and we've known each other since I was... 11?" I said.

I looked at Kobey, and he nodded, confirming that I was correct. I saw Louis shoot him a glare, as if to say 'Back off' but I shrugged it off. Just being over protective. I sat down next to Louis, and Kobey sat down on the other side of me. I could literally feel the tension in the air, like I could grab a clump and shove it down someone's throat. Once everybody got their drinks, they resumed their conversations, while me and Kobey talked together.

"So, what is it like, living with them?" He asked me.

"It's really fun, especially when we play games, like Spin the bottle, and Truth or Dare. It's hilarious."

"Is it really?"

"Yeah!"

"Well.."

And so we continued talking for about 10 minutes, when out of nowhere, Louis stood up, and slammed his hands on the table.

"L-Loui--"

"We should go." He said.

"Umm.. O-Okay." I stuttered.

We all glanced uneasily at him, before getting up.

"Bye, Kobey. I'll see you around!" I said, giving him a hug.

"You too, Crys!" (Btw. "Crys" is pronounced "Chris")

I felt a hand grab my wrist, and we started walking out.

"What was that about?" I whispered to Niall.

"I don't know.." He whispered back.

The streets were crowded on this sunny day, and I was kinda wondering how I wasn't getting noticed. We came to an intersection we had to cross, and we all waited for the sign to signal that we could cross. Well.. most of us. Louis ignored the sign, and stomped into the intersection.

"Louis! Come back!" I yelled.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a car come speeding towards him without a care. A sudden pump of adrenaline coursed through my veins.

"LOUIS!!" I screamed.

I ran out into the intersection, and pushed Louis out of the way...

while I got hit by the car. The car came into contact with my shoulder, and ran me over. I lay still, pain shooting through my body like lightning. The car sped away, and I heard sirens in the distance. The boys and Perrie rushed over to me, trying to stop the blood loss. My vision was getting fuzzy, and everything sounded like I was under water. I could hear mumbles of voices, but I couldn't make out the words. I hear Louis' voice yelling something at my probably expressionless face, and I was lifted. I was put on what I guessed was a stretcher, and into what looked like am ambulance. I saw the familiar fuzzy face of Louis above me, and I felt little droplets of something hit my face. I saw him bend down, and I heard something be whispered into my ear, very clearly.

"I think I love you..."

But before I could register what he said, my world went black.
