High School Romance

Tabby P.O.V.

September 11th

7:45 A.M.

I walked into the hallway with my head held high. I am going into 12th grade and I my best friend left last year. So, I'm all alone. My name is Tabatha, but people call me Tabby. I have a huge crush on this guy named Niall Horan. I've liked him since the 8th grade when he moved here. I don't know why I'm so attracted to him anyways. He has blonde hair, sparkly blue eyes.....ok now I see why. He probably never notices me.

Anyway, he has a girlfriend named Hanna. Hanna Carter. She is like a celebrity here. I mean, you can't lie. She is pretty, super skinny and she looks like Belle from the stupid Disney movies.

They have only dated for 2 weeks before school started. Hanna has a clique. A girl named Jules and another girl named Katherine.

They all look like Disney princesses.

Hanna-Belle

Katherine-Snow White

I can't look at them and not feel jealousy. I look like Cinderella before the 'Bippity, Boppity, Boo'.

Tabby-Ugly

My blonde hair is always in a messy bun and my clothes look like I got them from a burned and murdered thrift store.

I went to my locker and took out a piece of paper that had my combination on it.

24-46-22.

Yes! Got it on my first try. I put both of my binders in my locker and when I was about to close it.......BAM! "What the hell?" I turned around and it was Harry Styles. He is Niall's best friend. If I couldn't have Niall, I would want Harry.

"Sorry." I blurt out. Apparently I banged my locker against his head and he dropped his folders. I got down on my knees. I helped him pick up the papers that fell out and noticed that he got a C- on one of them.

"Thanks." He said. I turned my head towards his and we stared into each others eyes. I looked into his emerald green eyes while he looked into my pale blue ones.

"No problem." I said. He looked over his shoulder to see Liam Payne. Another one of his best friends.

He turned towards me again. "Bye." He said quickly and walked away with Liam.

"Bye." I said under my breath.

I grabbed my schedule and looked at it. Uh great. Gym. I'm going to have to be sweaty all day. I closed my locker and walked away.

The hallways were crowded so I had to slip threw some people with my tiny body. I walked and walked and finally got to the girls locker room. I changed quickly and then our coach, Mrs. Richard, greeted us. "Ok Ladies get to the Gym!" She yelled.

I sprinted to the gym and I sighed when the teacher told us that we would mostly be running the whole time. "K ladies, run around the gym until we leave and then on Wednesday we will start volleyball.

"K ladies you can leave now!" My gym teacher said. I changed into my regular clothes and walked down the hallway when someone pushed me and I fell.

"Whoops." I got up and turned around. It was Hanna and her clique. They all started laughing and walked away shaking their hips. Hanna looked over her shoulder and smirked.

Hanna and I have history behind us. In the 10th grade she stole my boyfriend. So I told the whole school that the only reason why they were going out is because he was paying her to give him blows.

We've hated each other since then. "You okay?" Someone asked. I turned around and it was Niall. My stomach began to flip-flop. My mouth was dry and no words came out.

He smiled and my legs felt like jelly. I then turned around and walked away. "Hey wait up." He called. I felt him grab my should and stopped me. He stood in front of me. "I'm sorry about Hanna. I don't even know why I'm going out with her." My heart began to flutter up. He doesn't want to go out with her? Awesome!

"It's okay." I said and continued to walk. He stopped me again.

He looked deep into my eyes. "No it's not." I just smiled and walked away.

I'm such an idiot! I just walked away from my dream boyfriend. It felt so good to have him that close to me. I thought I was going to faint. We were so close that I could almost feel/smell his peppermint breath.

I kept walking a little further and looked at my schedule again. Math. Ugh! Worst day of school ever! I realized that Math class was right next to me so I went in. I took the only seat left which was next to Zayn Malik.

Zayn Malik is cute,but not my type. I looked around to find anybody that I knew and behind me was Hanna Carter. Shit!

I looked back at Zayn and remembered that he is also one of Niall's friends. Zayn is actually dating Jules. They have been dating for a year now.

My thoughts were interrupted by the teacher. "Okay class, grab a Math book and pair up with somebody." She said with such an unenthusiastic voice. "Turn to page 124 and then get started.

I looked around the room and there was no one to choose from except a girl with blonde hair. I went up to her. "Do you want to be my partner?" I asked. She nodded her head and walked with me to a table.

"My name is Tabby." I said. She looked at me like a confused dog and then smiled.

"Elizabeth." She said. I smiled as well and turned to the page.

-45 minutes later-

"Return the books to me and you can leave." My math teacher said. I got up and went over to her. She took the book and I left.

"See you around." Elizabeth called and I nodded.
