I pretty well know that I should have probably stopped and listened to Niall's advice the second it passed through his lips, and I know that I shouldn't have called him jackass when probably my decision to keep my guard up will make jack seem less of an idiot and make me the jackass here.

Just because I am Olivia Faith Summers I'm still walking away from Niall to make my point that nobody's stuborness competes with mine. I'm a lot of things that I'm not proud of, for example I'm stubborn as hell, when I want something I get it.

Crack.

"S.hit, s.hit, s.hit.."I kept cursing. I turned around from right to left, from left to right trying to locate the place where the freaking cracking sound came from.

Okay. OKAY! I'm not stubborn anymore, darn! Oh my God I should've listened to Niall. I should have taken a nap instead of roaming around aimlessly.

What path did I come from?

"Oh no!"I whined stomping my feet. Why did I have to be this stubborn?! I should've stayed. But Niall pissed me off and I had to get away from him. I had to.

"Fuck!"I hissed when realization slapped me stark in the face. I left my backpack full of my weapons by the trunk of that tree. This is the end.

Whoever is out there is gonna kill me, and I'll never get the chance to say bye to Mom, Kevin, Lord I haven't seen him in so long! And Kristen, Jade! No no no.. Harry. Fuck, I'm so dead.

If I'm gonna die here and now.. Atleast I'm gonna die trying.

I grabbed a hard, solid branch off the floor and took off running without looking back. Branches scratched my face, arms and legs. Oh my God! I'm wearing jeans how did that branch manage to scartch me through them?!

"Fuck you Mother Nature! Fuck you!"I yelled, running aimlessly. I'm held onto the branch like my life depended on it.

The forest trees stopped when I reached a field. Fields? Bad news. In movies and books, when you're chased by death and you reach a field or an open space, that place will become your memorial place where people will come to throw flowers on your tomb.

The chills-sending shuffling sound travelled through the open space, causing me to look over my shoulder and that's when my heart seemed to stop beating. A wolf, or a Werewolf according to it's size, was kneeling ready to attack me.

If I turn my back to it and try to run, it'll give it the perfect occasion to jump on my back and kill me. But if I stay put where I am right now I might have a slim chance of survival.

I tightened my grip onto the piece of wood and faced the werewolf. It looked at me for a moment before jumping to attack me. I hit it hard on the shoulder earning a cry in pain from it. I'm just gonna use the term it since I don't know whether it's a male or a female and I don't want to look down there to know.

The Werewolf took the ready-to-attack position again and growled causing the hairs at the back of my neck to rise up. It didn't hesitate another moment to attack and jumped on me causing me to fly backwards with it on top.

It snatched the piece of wood from my hand with it's teeth and threw it away leaving me completely defenceless. Oh, well.. Here goes nothing. There's nothing left for me to do but scream. I screamed.
"And dead!"The wolf growled, staring at me with it's bared canines.

"Just get done and over with it already!"I shouted in frustration.

"Unbelievable!"The wolf let out a frustrated short laugh.

"You give yourself to death just like that? Unbelievable.."He stared at me for a little and then sighed, shaking it's head disappointedly. As I stared at it for a little, it's fur seemed more and more familiar at the back of my memory.

"Niall?!"I shouted, in both anger and surprise."What the hell is wrong with you?!"I picked myself up from the ground and brushed off the dirt.

"What would've happened if you were attacked by another werewolf?!"He raised his voice.

"I would've died."I said it like it was a no big deal.

"What the.."He trailed off."I told you not to wander around!"

"Nothing happened!"I shouted, throwing my hands up.

"Nothing happened?! Someone else could've attacked you!"He shouted.

"You found me just because you followed me, like a creep!"I yelled back in frustration. Who the hell is he to tell me what to do.

"A creep? I followed you to make sure you're okay even tho I should've just let you be and get attacked!"

"Then you should have! But of course the childish kid you are, had nothing better to do than scare the daylights out of me!"I yelled, pointing an accusing finger at him."You should thank God that I didn't bring my weapons with me because you would've been dead just because of your childish behavior!"

"Okay let's just calm down, Olivia."He breathed heavily."I'm sorry that I scared you."He apologized. I looked into his glossy, sincere big werewolf orbs and sighed.

"And I'm sorry that I yelled, Niall, I was just horrified."I admitted."And thank you for always being there for me and protecting me."I said and hugged his neck, resting my head on his cheek. He rested his head on my shoulder and relaxed as I patted his fur.

"You're always welcome Olivia."I let go of him and smiled.

"Let's go."I said. Just as I turned around, a weird feeling washed over me. The feeling of being watched. Then after a few seconds you heard a loud growl.

I slowly looked at Niall and shuddered."W-was that you?"I slowly, breathed out. Niall's wide eyes held fear in them as he slowly shook his head. I gulped down in fear and we both turned our heads to see were the growl came from.

As soon as I laid my eyes on the creature I let out a quiet sob in fear. I have no idea what that is but it's so ugly and horrific that the fear shook my bones. I have never seen such a creature in my whole life.

"Olivia.. Don't make a sound."Niall whispered. I was so scared, I wished I could teleport myself somewhere else and hide. The beast was atleast 6"feet tall, had a strong body, claws that could rip your flesh in a blink, bared sharp canines and big red eyes. It was a vampire and a werewolf in a body.

"It's blind."Niall whispered slowly, without diverting his eyes from the beast.

"Good."I whispered, tears streaming down my face.

"When I count to three.."The beast shifted it's head, causing Niall to pause."Jump on my back."He whispered and I slowly nodded.

"One.."The beast shook it's dark, thick fur."Two.."I steadied myself."Three.."I jumped on Niall's back and he took off running. The ugly beast sensed our presense and let out a beastly, horrifying growl.

"Go Niall GO!"I screamed as the beast started following us. I screamed in horror as the beast approached us. I hugged Niall tightly and shut my eyes, blocking everything out.

There's no beast, you're not going to die, Olivia. You're gonna be alright.

"Olivia!"Niall screamed at me. The beast was hot on our tails and it was quickly approaching us.
"Yes!"I yelled back.

"Hold on tight!"He said and I held him tighter. Niall jumped high and we both collapsed under a rock shelter. Niall quickly shifted back into a human and held me close, hiding us both. We heard the beast breathing over us and I trembled, hugging Niall tighter. The beast let out one last growl and started walking away.

After a few minutes of silence and heavy breathing, we loosened our grasps on eachother. Niall's breath hit my face in waves, slowly calming me. I stared at his face and smiled, knowing that he's my shelter.

He's always there for me, and I promise to always be there for him.

"Thank you.."I breathed out, slowly kissing his cheek."Thank you so much."I rested my head on his shoulder. Niall leaned his back on the rock and let me rest my head on his warm chest.

"Let's rest for a little, alright?"He suggested, slowly kissing my forehead. I nodded my head slightly and closed my eyes letting my tiredness wash over and take me to a lovely, warm place called dream.
