A new chapter

Lean on me

We ended up watching a disney movie and working out my new living arrangements. I will be living in one of the 3 guest bedrooms and we would be transforming the second into a nursery. Andrew said dad was on a buisness trip in Russia for 3 weeks. I would be going to the same school as andrew. He called and registered me. There is a baby daycare a couple blocks away where mary will be going to as of tomorrow.
So after the movie I fed mary and put her to sleep in the pillow corral I built. Andrew made top ramen and told me about what he has been up to these past years. He is on the football team, and is dating this girl Wendy. Its funny because I remember when he would be around his friends and I would walk over and all except him would run away screaming "Cooties!" making my 5 year old self cry. Andrew would yell at them telling them they had cooties just to make me feel better.
I looked down at the counter and saw a little puddle. I wiped my eyes hoping my eyeliner wasn't all over my face . "What's wrong?" Andrew asks.
"I just missed you. A lot." I say with a sniffle. A smile and laugh.
He just looks at me.
"Lean on me ,when your not strong and I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on , for it wont be long 'till I'm gonna need somebody to lean on." Thats when we both double over laughing. But i continue the song of course.
"So just call on me brother when you need a hand, we all need somebody to lean on.I just might have a problem that you'll understand, we all need somebody to lean on." Then we join.
"Lean on me when your not strong I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on, for it wont be long 'till I'm gonna need somebody to lean on." We almost die laughing. I swear I might have abs because of that. Lean on me was like our little secret brother sister song. I finnish my noodles and head to bed. I lay next to my little angel after saying a prayer. Thanking god for all the good things today brought. And asking for a safe nights sleep. I lay staring at the ceiling wondering what tomorrow will bring.
