A new chapter

Greetings.

I walk off the plane with Mary sound asleep in my arms. Thank goodness for comfy clothes. I walk into the airport and go to the baggage claim. I find my bag and walk to the exit. The cool autumn air hits me in the face getting hair in my mouth.Dang it! Well Hello Cheshire. I hail a cab and get in and strap Mary in the baby car seat. "Where to?" The driver asks. I tell him the address and we are on our way. I fiddle my thumbs as I look out the window. Down the streets. I've only been here once before when they first split up. Mom chose to go back to colorado where she is from and Dad went back to Cheshire where he grew up. The story of how they met was really funny. When my mom was 16 she went on a trip with her parents to Cheshire. While she was sight seeing she caught his eye. They went on one date before she had to leave. Then 5 years later dad went to live with his friend in the US where they reunited at a party. Yep. And thats how we became a happy family, not for long though. They started to have relationship problems, and not long after that they split up going their separate ways.
I look up as the taxi stops. Wow. Looks like we are here. I look down and see Mary sound asleep in her car seat. I unbuckle the seat and grab my suitcase. "How much?" I ask the driver.
"Its on me." He says with a gentle smile.
"Thank you, SIr." I say with a nod as I get out. I get mary who is still sound asleep in her car seat. I look back as the driver pulls out. I finally get a good look at the house.No cars parked outside. Its huge. WOW. I take a deep breath and start to walk up. I get to the door and knock softly. I barely have time to prepare myself when Andrew answers the door. Andrew is wayyy older. Well The last time I saw him I was 9. He stares at me for a minute before saying softly "Annabelle?"
I nod as I start to get teared up. He wastes no time pulling me into a great big bear hug. "Come in." He says getting my bag and walking inside. I follow him into a living room. He sets down my bag and he motions me to sit down. "So why are you here?"
"Mom kicked me out."
"Oh" He says with a smile.
"And you are a uncle." I say picking up Mary.
"She is soo beautiful."He says grabbing her. "So, are you gonna tell me?"He asks
So I tell him the story. The truth and only the truth.
