My Hero

Harry’s POV:

I watched as Carter covered her face. The nurse stepped out to give us some space, but not before she whispered in my ear, “She needs you now more than ever.” I knew she was right, and I wanted to be there for her. I knew in my heart that I was falling for this girl. I secretly wished she would keep the babies and we could raise them together, but it is cruel to expect her to take on a task like that.

“Hey, its alright,” I walked to her and soothingly rubbed her shoulders. She looked up at me with her beautiful brown eyes.

“No its not. I wanted to keep the baby. I was going to ask my dad. I am sure he would say yes to one baby, but two? No way,” She closed her eyes and put her hands on her stomach, “I know its crazy, but I love these babies. They aren’t just that man’s kids, but their are mine.”

“I understand,” I said. She shook her head as of to say no you dont and you never will. “I am here for you Carter.”

“Really?” she looked at me with hope in her eyes. I felt a pang in my heart, because I really loved this girl and I couldn’t let her down. ‘

“Really.”

We walked out of the room and into the reception area. The women looked at her and I felt her flinch. I could tell she felt judged. Her face became red with anger. Before we left, she turned around and said, “I was raped, ok?”

She turned and ran out to the car. Before I followed her, I turned around and saw the shock on their face. I took off to the car where Carter was sitting in the front seat, blasting music.
