The Perks Of Being A Horan

Niall and I drove for a while before he turned off the main road and into the city. I was slightly confused as when he mentioned he wanted to talk to me I assumed it would be alone in a quiet place not in the middle of London. He pulled into the car park of a really tall building and ushered me out of the car.

"Come on!" He shouted as he held out his hand.

I took it happily and we walked into the lobby of the building. It looked posh so I let Niall do all the work.

"Wait here." He smiled cheekily before leaving me to talk to the woman at the desk.

You could tell she knew who he was, the way her eyes lit up when he finally caught her attention and the way she sat up slightly before he began to speak. I couldn't hear what they were talking about but I could definitely tell that he turned on the charm by the way her cheeks when bright red before nodding and handing Niall a hefty looking key.

"Hey squirt let's go!" He shouted from across the hall.

I followed reluctantly, unsure of where he was taking me. Thoughts suddenly settled buy the giant roof access sign above our heads. We bounced up the stairs until Niall stuck the key in the door and pushed with all his might, letting me through first. He left it to shut as we had a key.

He ushered me to the edge of the building before telling me to sit. The view was incredible. I wanted to stay here forever, with Niall in this blissful state with the city rushing underneath us.

"Shnoon." Spit it out.

"Niall I can't."

"Why?" He said slightly irritated with me.

I wrestled with myself before I finally decided to speak up.

“I can’t spit it out, because if I spit it out and tell you everything it means that I have to admit my feelings and I don’t think I’m ready to do that.” I said hanging my head.

“Shannon, I know what you mean, but I can’t help unless you tell me, so swallow your damn pride and spit. It. Out.”

I hitched at the sudden harshness of my big brothers voice but I knew he was right. So I literally swallowed my pride and began to speak.

“I had an imaginary crush on Harry and then I met Liam and then I liked Liam.” I started putting it simply.

I noticed a small nod from the fake blonde and continued knowing he wasn’t going to speak until I’d finished.

“He made me feel cute and cuddly and everything I’d wanted in a relationship, and you approved eventually and I thought nothing could be better, and then it started. Every time Harry was near me, my breathing hitched and I couldn’t stop staring at him. He made me feel weird and I didn’t know what it was so I pushed it down and spent my time with Liam.”

Niall was making numerous facial expressions as I spoke signalling that he was definitely listening.

“Then Harry told me he liked me, and the feelings got worse he made me feel like I was on fire, even if he just held my hand it made my whole body tingle. And then the night at the bar happened and I found Liam with that girl and I… with Harry and now I’m just sad and confused.”

I finished, surprisingly happy with myself after letting it all out to my brother in such a beautiful location. I looked hopefully at Niall as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and tugged me closer.

“Harry.” He whispered in my ear, kissed me on the cheek and then left.

I looked behind me to notice he’d left the roof door open for me. I hung my head and let out a small giggle. I loved Niall so much and I should have known he wouldn’t really say anything, he just wanted me to get my feelings out and it worked. I wasn’t exactly happy about how Harry made me feel because quite frankly it scared the shit out of me, but I was content.

I got up from my beautiful spot and gave one last look at the view before I made my way back downstairs. I found Niall waiting in the car and hopped in. Nothing was said just a happy ride back to the bus.

“Go get him sis.” Niall laughed as I literally ran out of the car.

An hour of looking and I still hadn’t found the little shit I was looking for, or any of the other members to be honest, until I rounded a corner and Liam walked straight into me.

“Oh Shannon, I was er… looking for you. Can we talk?” He said his arms on my elbows.

“About what? How we cheated on each other at the same time? No, we can’t. Have you seen Harry?”

“He’s in there.” He said hanging his head and walking away.

I nodded lightly and stepped in the room. I smiled to myself as I walked over to Harry.
I wrapped my arms around his waist without saying a word and brought his lips to mine ever so softly.

“What was that for?” He smiled.

“I’m yours” I said before walking away and heading back to the bus.
