- 7 Months Later -

Normal. What a word. That defintly was not a way to explain the events of these past few months.
it al started with a note...

Dear Miss. Frank~

we are happy to inform you that we have found your father.

Daddy? They had found my father. The man who had been ripped from our lives and sent my family into chaos. They found him. I scroll my eyes back to the page;

But, we also have bad news. Your father was his by an explosion and has no recalation of his past life. We would be honored by you and you brothers presence so that we may help him remember what has been lost.

And that was That. Anoth page in the not so normal book. It took about seven months but i finally convinced mikey to come with. And now we were on a plane speeding towards Nashville, Tennesse. headed towards home.

Right befor dad went MIA we lived in a cozy two story house on the west side of town. Close enough to the base and not to far from the school. We were normal people then. And Now? We'll were two delinquent orphans who had never set foot on Tennessee soil since the day we found out about dad. Pathetic. Right?

Mom wanted to move as far away as possible. So we ended up in ythe run down area of London, England. Run down enough that mom could "suport" her family. Run down enough that Mikey got involved with drugs. Run down enough that I......Never mind.

When our plane touched down at midnight my body was stiff from the hoirs of sitting. Standing up sounded like the best thing in the world right now. Well, other than seeing dad.
It too a while for me and Mikey to make our way through the intended croud of people, but are made it in time to catch a cab.
"take us to the cheapest hotel..." Mikey hands the driver a wad of bills. Grabing the stack the driver starts up the car and were off.

it didnt take long for us to show up at the crapiest hotel possible.It was cheep though. Entering our two bed bedroom you could tell the place was rairly cleaned. The floor was coverd in huge gray dust bunnys and the smell. Oh god the smell was like a mix of the boys loker room and a free way restroom stop. It was awful. I was glad we'd only be there for a few days.
setting down my bad i look around for a place to sit down. There was a bed or a small wooden chair in the corner. I chose one of the beds.

"mikey?" I ask.
"hmmm?" He looks up from his list. I pull my legs up to me and say,
"im scared"
"about what?" The arch in his eyebrow tells me that he doesnt really have time for this.
"never mind" i put my headon my knees. He looks down atr his papers then looks up once more.
"me to...." His voice quivers. I get up and snggle next to him on the bed.
"Well, get through this together," i smile," were brother and sister. We stick together. Plus whats the worst that could happen?"
and boy was i verry wrong.
