Overworked

Harry’s P.O.V
“Stop! Get off! Go away!” We were woken by Maddie’s shouts. Louis groaned and got out of his makeshift bed on the floor, Zayn doing the same and I shook Maddie. She woke up and started crying. Zayn, Louis and I comforted her for a minute but then we left it to the girls and went into the kitchen.
“Are they always that bad?”
“Every night, without fail, I didn’t hear her last night though and I was just next door. She’s worse than having a baby. She won’t get back to sleep now.” I sighed and sat down.
“Dad, what’s wrong with Auntie Maddie?” George came into the kitchen. Zayn picked him up and sat him on the counter.
“She had a scary dream. But she’ll be okay soon mate,” Zayn said and hugged him. He’s a great dad. Perrie came into the kitchen and went over to George.
“Back to bed sweetie, Auntie Maddie will be fine,” she said and took George to the room he’s sleeping in again. Whereas Zayn will spoil him, Perrie is quite strict with him but still loves him to pieces. It’s their upbringings that have impacted which is why both Maddie and I spoil the kids.
Perrie went back to Maddie after putting George to bed and both she and El came in.
“She’s asleep again.” El told us.
“How did you do that?”
“Sleeping tablets, she won’t wake up now. She admitted that she’s been taking them since her nightmares started but forgot to take them tonight.” Perrie said and we nodded and went back to the bedroom.
“You girls sleep in the bed; we’ll sleep on the floor.” I said and they checked and we agreed. I got in with Louis and Zayn complained about being lonely so we invited him to join us, which he did.
“Love you Harry.” Louis whispered.
“I love you too Louis.” I replied.
“Feeling left out here.” Zayn said.
“Love you Zayn.” Perrie said from the bed.
“Hey, the most beautiful girl in the room loves me!” Zayn whisper cheered. We laughed and went to sleep.
I woke up being elbowed by someone. I opened my eyes and saw Louis and Zayn still fast asleep but Louis was elbowing me.
“Louisssss...” I groaned and he and Zayn woke up.
“What?”
“You were elbowing me.” I pouted and he laughed and sat up.
“Sorry baby.” He said and put his arm around me.
“Slightly jealous right now,” El said from the bed and Louis and I laughed. Louis moved closer to me and then pretended to make out with me.
“Now come here and do it properly Tomlinson.” El instructed and Louis got up, went over to her and made out with her making Perrie move away from them until she fell out of bed. She was laughing a lot and Zayn got up to check on her. Maddie was still knocked out from her tablets.
“What time are we gonna leave today?” Perrie asked me.
“Whatever time sleeping beauty wakes up - about half an hour after that,” I laughed. She laughed too and then Maddie started moving. She hasn’t moved all night so it’s a sign that she’s waking up. She turned over, opened her eyes and jumped at the sight of seeing Louis and Eleanor.
“Ahh,” she got out of the bed. Louis and Eleanor pulled away and laughed and I got up and stood next to Maddie hugging her.
“Did you sleep okay?”
“After the tablets yeah,” she replied and kissed me quick.
“We should probably start getting ready to go out.” She said. I nodded and she opened her suitcase and got out the bra and thong that Zayn was holding last night along with a pair of shorts and a crop top. The crop top was light pink so I guess she’s going to wear light pink converses seeing as she always pairs her top and shoes when she wears coloured converses. She went into the bathroom and had a quick shower and the guys went to get clothes for them and the girls for today not wanting to wake the kids and make them go back yet. I got my outfit out of my suitcase and got changed in the other bathroom. Maddie finished in the shower and came out dressed with a towel wrapped around her head. Louis and Zayn came back and Perrie went in next while I texted Liam telling him to meet us all downstairs in about 20 minutes so we can take the kids to the hotel that Isabelle and Emily are staying at. Because of professional reasons that SYCO are cracking down on, they’re not allowed to stay here. Maddie got her light pink converses out and I smiled at how I knew what shoes she would wear. Zayn and Louis got dressed in the other bathroom and then Perrie and El swapped. After 10 minutes, all of us were ready, including George, Sam and Kayleigh. We all went to Mum’s room and got the kids telling her we were leaving them with Isabelle and Emily to give her a break and she agreed and went back to bed. We saw Gemma and Maddie pulled her to our room presumably to give her the lingerie. Gemma came back with the blue one and laughed as she went back into her room and Ashton’s eyes widened. We went downstairs and Liam and Danielle were already there.
“Right, let’s drop these guys off at the other hotel and then we can go.” Perrie said looking at all of the kids. We took 3 vans to the other hotel and left the kids with Isabelle and Emily. Then we drove to the nearest shopping centre. All of us guys spotted Victoria’s Secret and dragged the girls over to it. We went inside and were all trying to control ourselves. Maddie picked out loads of different ones and so did the other girls.
“Let’s go try them on,” El suggested and we went to the changing rooms. We all waited and then the girls came out at the same time. I guess they communicated.
“You all look so hot.” I said looking at all of them. Louis grabbed the cushion from the sofa we were sitting on and covered up his problem and Liam copied. Zayn was frozen staring at Perrie who was wearing a black loose slip but it still showed off all of her curves.
“Right, next one,” Perrie smirked breaking us all out of our trances. This isn’t awkward because all of us know we wouldn’t steal each other’s girls. After about an hour of staring at our girls wearing hardly anything, we were ready to go.
“After that show, being honest guys, if you all had to choose one other girl, who would it be?” Danielle asked as we were on our way to the next shop, all the girls with Victoria’s Secret bags.
“Maddie,” Louis chose.
“Perrie,” Liam said.
“Maddie,” Zayn admitted.
“Dani,” I said and El frowned looking down at herself. “Wait, can I have two? Seeing as I am ‘a womanizer’.” I laughed and Danielle shrugged. “And El,” I said making her smile. Louis started talking to Maddie so Eleanor came over to me.
“You didn’t have to do that,” she said.
“I felt bad. You’re all perfect. I hated being last and knowing I had to choose between you both and I didn’t want to make either of you feel like shit. Sorry babe,” I kissed her cheek and she smiled.
“It’s okay, my body just isn’t as good as the others’.” She sighed.
“Your body is gorgeous, just like the others. If it makes you feel any better, you’re way prettier and more good looking than Belle. I’ve seen her in just her underwear and it’s not a nice sight.” I said and Eleanor laughed slightly. I smiled knowing I’d made her happy again.
“Thanks.” She said and Louis came over.
“Not trying to steal my wife are you Styles? I mean, I know she’s incredibly fit, but she’s mine.” Louis put his arm around El’s waist.
“Don’t worry, I know.” I laughed and Maddie came next to me so I took her hand. We got to a Converse shop and Maddie looked at it longingly. “Go,” I whispered to her and she shook her head. I took my wallet out of my pocket and gave her my credit card. “Use it for once. I know you’re not with me for my money and you don’t need to care about what anyone else thinks. I love you Maddie. Go spend as much as you want.” I said and stopped the others and said she was going in the Converse shop. The girls went with her and I sat down with the lads.
“Finally got her to use your credit card did you?” Liam asked.
“What’s the betting she doesn’t use it and slips her own card out?” I sighed.
“Why do you want her to use your card so much?” Louis questioned.
“Because I want to treat her but if I buy her something that doesn’t mean a lot to her or she thinks is just too expensive she won’t take it. She’s afraid everyone will call her a gold digger but we’ve been together for the best part of 15 years and she’s spent about £100 of my money.” I said and watched as she found some shoes and then paid for them with her own card. “She used her own.” I sighed.
“She’s independent. Just let her do her own thing. Pretend you don’t know she used her own one. Pretend to be happy that she used your card because then she’s more likely to use it. Just don’t go overboard or she will.” Zayn said and stood up as the girls walked over.
“I can’t use it Harry.” Maddie gave me my card back ruining Zayn’s plan.
“Madeline Aimee Styles, use my damn credit card please. I know you’re not with me for my money and everyone else does too. Just use it. I hate that you think that you have to buy everything yourself.” I said quietly.
“I’m not using it Harry. Put it away.” She said and we passed a Starbucks which of course caught Eleanor’s attention. “You have an unhealthy obsession with this place,” Maddie laughed as we went in and got a table. The girls ordered all the drinks and then sat down waiting for our names to be called. We laughed as they started calling them.
“Malik,”
“Tomlinson,”
“Edwards,”
“Peazer,”
“Styles,”
“Payne,”
“Calder,”
“Anderson,” they called them and we went to get our drinks.
“Why surnames?”
“Felt like it,” Eleanor shrugged.
“And why maiden names?” Zayn pulled Perrie onto his lap.
“Because we can’t have 2 of each, it would get confusing.” She said and laughed as he kissed her neck.
“Just as long as you aren’t thinking about going back to Edwards, Mrs Malik,” He said.
“Never,” she smiled at him and drank her drink. Maddie kissed my cheek quickly and started drinking hers. When we’d all pretty much finished our drinks we left the shop and went to a clothes shop that the girls like. We all sat outside while they went round looking at things. Once they’d finished, we decided it was time to go and get the kids and get back to the hotel. When we got back, Maddie got a text.
“I’m really sorry but I have to go and do an interview. It’s the only time they can do it.” She told me and I nodded. She left again and drove off to the studio.
