Overworked

Harry’s P.O.V
I said goodbye to Adam and Brooke and went upstairs into Lis’ room. She sat up in her bed when I walked in. She had tears rolling down her face. “What’s the matter princess?” I sat down on the end of her bed.
“You-you didn’t say goodbye.” She sniffed.
“I’m sorry baby, I’m here now though, I can say goodbye now.” I told her and she threw herself into my arms.
“I’m going to miss you so much.” I whispered into her hair.
“I’ll miss you too daddy. Can you still talk to me though?” She looked up at me with her green eyes glistening with tears.
“Yes, I will, I promise. Look after your mummy for me okay? If she cries, hug her. Mummy needs you now more than ever sweetheart.”
“I will Daddy. I will look after her.” She smiled.
“Good, now, you need to go to sleep or mummy will tell me off. I love you so much.” I kissed her.
“I love you too daddy. See you soon.” She said and lay back down in bed. I tucked her in and kissed her again. I left her room and went back down and Brooke and Adam had gone upstairs.
“They really don’t want you to leave.” Maddie stood in the kitchen doorway.
“I don’t want to leave but I have to.” I told her.
“I know you do.” She kissed me on the cheek and went upstairs. I picked up the last of my stuff to pack and followed after Maddie. She was getting ready for bed and I put my things into my suitcase.
“You will be up when I have to leave in the morning right?” I asked her.
“Yeah, of course,” Maddie replied and got into bed turning on the TV.
“One Direction leaves for tour in Manchester tomorrow. The 5 lads will have to leave their wives and children for 6 months to tour the world. We can only imagine what they’re feeling right now.” The TV said and Maddie sighed and changed the channel.
“Why is our TV always on E when I turn it on?” She turned to me.
“I have no idea.” I said going into the bathroom. I got ready for bed and went back to Maddie. I got into bed and she moved closer to me, resting her head on my shoulder.
“You’ll come to our show in London with the kids right?” I questioned.
“When is it?”
“On Saturday, please?”
“Yeah okay, is it at Wembley?”
“Yeah, we’re in Manchester all week and then back here for two shows, Saturday and Sunday.”
“Alright babe, I’ll bring them.” She said. I smiled down at her. We lay watching TV for hours and then gradually fell asleep.
“Turn the alarm off already.” Maddie groaned after I had ignored my alarm for about 5 minutes. I turned it off and got out of bed. I picked up my clothes and went into the bathroom. I got dressed and went downstairs with my suitcase.
“Dad!” The kids ran to me.
“I’ve got to go soon guys.” I told them and hugged each of them. They let go and I went over to Maddie.
“Look after yourself alright; I’ll see you on Saturday. I love you gorgeous.” I kissed her.
“I love you too. Have fun.” She hugged me and a horn beeped.
“I’ve gotta go. I love you so much.” I kissed her again and hugged the kids goodbye. I opened the door and Louis was hugging El goodbye. I put my suitcase into the van and got in. “I hate this.” I said to Liam.
“Me too mate, me too. Leah cried.”
“Melissa cried last night but she was okay this morning.” I told him and Louis joined us.
“Let’s go before I get out and run back inside.” He sighed shutting the door.
“Belle said she’s gonna bring Drew to Wembley.” Niall said from the back.
“Perrie is gonna get a babysitter for George because she doesn’t want him there but she’s coming.” Zayn added.
“El’s gonna bring the twins,”
“Danielle is probably gonna bring Leah.” They all said.
“Maddie is gonna bring the kids too. So we only have to go this week without them and then there’s 6 months left.” I sighed.
“Yeah, when we’re 3 months in, it’s the school holidays so the girls will probably bring the kids over then.” Louis told us. We all sat and talked on our way to Manchester.
Maddie’s P.O.V
I watched as Louis got into the van and said something to Paul. They drove off and Lis burst out in tears. I picked her up hugging her close. “Ssh, you’ll see him on Saturday baby; we’re going to their concert.” I said and she cried into my shoulder. I debated texting Harry but decided against that considering it would probably upset him. I put Lis down.
“C’mon, you’ve got to get ready for school.” I said and they went upstairs. 10 minutes later they all came down bags in hand. “Let’s go.” I unlocked the car. They all got in and I put my stuff in the trunk. I took Brooke and Adam to school and Lis to her classroom and then went back to my car. I saw Dani and hugged her.
“I miss him already.” She said.
“Me too, I hate this.” I muttered.
“Are you going on Saturday?” She asked.
“Yeah, are you?”
“Yeah, I’m not sure if I’m gonna talk Leah or not though because Perrie isn’t taking George and I don’t want Zayn to be the only one of them not to see their children.”
“Liam will be devastated if you don’t take Leah and so will Leah. It’s up to Perrie really.” I told her.
“I know. I’ll see you on Saturday then?”
“Yeah, if I haven’t had a breakdown by then,” I joked and hugged her again. I got into my car and drove to work. I went inside and Isabelle came over.
“Are you alright?” She asked.
“Why wouldn’t I be?” I questioned, knowing the answer.
“Because you’ve just said goodbye to your husband and you left pretty much straight after you arrived yesterday.”
“Oh yeah, being called a rich bitch isn’t nice, but yeah, I’m fine. Just please don’t talk to me about Harry.” I took the paperwork from her.
“Alright, some of your designs have been made and are downstairs if you want to go and see them.” I nodded and took the paperwork and my bag into my office. I saw my designs on the desk and there was a present. I opened it and a piece of paper fell out next to a box. “For the love of my life, H xox” The paper read. I opened the box and it was a gorgeous Tiffany bracelet. I took my phone out of my bag.

I sent it and went downstairs. I walked in and could see my designs all made. I gasped at how good they looked. “I take it you like them?” Emily asked me.
“They’re amazing. Oh my god.” I told her.
“Well, they’re being shipped out to shops tomorrow so enjoy them whilst you can.” She said. I nodded and walked around looking at all of the outfits. I looked at them all and went back up to my office. I went in and sat down at my desk. I checked my phone and saw I had a message.

I did all my work for the day and then had to leave to get the kids. I picked up Lis and then Brooke and Adam. They didn’t say a word all the way home and just ran up to their rooms when we got back. I sighed and went into the kitchen.
Harry’s P.O.V
We sat around talking before the show. It’s the first show of our tour and none of us are hyped. We all miss the girls. Maddie’s text earlier didn’t help either and then Liam told me that Danielle saw Maddie and she looked really miserable.
“You need to get your hair done and then into your outfits boys.” Paul said. We got up and walked into hair and make-up.
“You all look so bloody miserable. You’ll see them again on Saturday.” Lou said and Stacey, the new stylist laughed. “There’s someone here that wants to see you anyway.” Lou told us and the door opened. In walked a tall blonde girl who looked about 16. “You guys remember Lux right?” That’s Lux? God she’s changed. I haven’t seen her for a few years because Lou stopped bringing her to work and I haven’t been able to go round.
“Hi…” Lux said standing in the doorway. Louis got up and hugged her.
“I haven’t seen you in ages love. Are you alright?” He asked.
“Yeah, it’s weird seeing you again. I didn’t think Mum would still be working for you.” She admitted. I looked at the others and they looked just as shocked as me. We all talked to Lux whilst Lou and Stacey did our hair. We got into our outfits and waited for the support act to come off. My phone buzzed and I looked at it.

How does she do that? I smiled and put my phone down.
“Ready?” Paul asked handing us our mics.
“Let’s do this.” I said.
“Someone’s changed his tune.”
“Maddie texted.” I told him.
He laughed, “that woman is a miracle worker,” and the others perked up. We were lead to the man lifts and took our positions. We could hear the screams, it’s mad that these 20 years olds still come and see us. Louis popped up and the screams got louder. Then it was Niall, yet again more screams. Liam went and the screams got even louder. I looked at Zayn and he gave me the thumbs up and then I jumped up. The screams were deafening at this point. Zayn came up and the screams reached their ultimate volume. We started singing and jumping around the stage. This is actually going much better than we thought it would.
