Maddie’s P.O.V
We were woken up a few more times that night and I eventually woke up at 7am. Harry was still asleep so I went into the wardrobe room, got dressed and unpacked our clothes. After about an hour, Harry walked in. “Hey,” he said sleepily.
“Morning sleepyhead,” I smiled at him. “We need to start looking at schools for the kids and I need to start thinking about the business.” I told him.
“Okay, okay, can we do that another day? You said I could go and see the boys.” He replied.
“That’s fine, go.” I laughed. He picked out some clothes and looked at what I was wearing.
“See what I mean about the converses?” He looked at my black converse with pink laces.
“Yeah, yeah, go babe.” I told him. He nodded and went out leaving me with five children and a lot of unpacking to do. Fun. I went down to Brooklyn’s room. “Hey,” I whispered sitting down on the end of her bed. She sat up.
“Hi,” she smiled her famous smile. It was Harry’s smile.
“It’s weird right?” I laughed.
“Yeah, but I like it here mum, thank you.” She replied and hugged me.
“You’re welcome. Your dad has gone out for the day so you, Adam and Lis are going to need to entertain yourselves okay?”
“Yeah okay,” she said. I hugged her and she got out of bed. I went down to the kitchen and cooked some pancakes, waking the others up with the smell. They ate their pancakes and went to play in the garden.
“Don’t fall in the pool!” I laughed as Adam nearly did.
“Good tip.” He said and I smiled at my little boy. I cleared up and started to unpack the kitchen things and sort out everything while watching the kids play tag in the garden. The twins started crying so I ran upstairs to see to them. I fed them and took them downstairs in their baskets. Brooke and Adam were still running around and Lis was just sitting watching. I went to the door.
“You tired princess?” I asked Lis. She turned around and nodded. “Okay,” I laughed and went upstairs to Lis’ room and started unpacking her things. It took me ages and I was disturbed a few times by all five of them. I went downstairs and made lunch, which was more like dinner considering its 3pm, and Harry got home. “Good day?” I asked him, not looking. I was too focused on preparing the chicken for dinner.
“Yeah, how was yours?” He came up to me and hugged me from behind.
“Tiring,” I told him and he laughed.
“Well you’ve done a good job in here,” he looked around. I smiled and carried on cooking dinner. I served it and we all sat down at the table. It’s nice to do something altogether for once, usually one of us is out of on the phone and we don’t get to do this. We finished dinner and Harry loaded the dishwasher and then started watching TV with the kids.
