My Secret
Chapter 20
Max's P.O.V
"Okay Max! You know what to do. We're gonna write down what you need to work on, and you will improve like always. Start your practice." Luke yelled.
My practice was to beat up many wimps at a time. There could be up to 8-10 wimps at a time. The reason why I call em' wimps is because they aren't human. They are robots that Michael constructed. I have to tear them to shreds for me to pass my practice. I have to do 10 rounds, each round getting harder, without a break. Then I get a short break and do 15 more rounds until I get to go home. Each round is about 20-30 minutes. It's fun to get a little challenge so at the last round they put a 2-3 bosses. Trust me, they are extremely hard to beat.
"Let the games begin." I whispered.
I heard Liam chuckle at my "joke". I smiled but then put on a "serious" face. The game started.
*After 10 rounds*
The last wimp fell down, or should I say, floated down. My "arena" was filled with shreds of metallic stuff on the floor. I was hunched over, putting my hands on my knees. I was panting pretty hard. Gosh, I need to work on my cardio.
"Great job Max! You did perfect, nothing was wrong. You made all the right moves! Maybe we should give you no break and make the bots harder, eh?" Luke said while smirking.
"Maybe *pant* you *pant* should...go *many pants* fuck yourself, eh?" I barely said.
Luke patted my back and chuckled. He walked away and then Liam walked up to me with water and a towel.
"That was....interesting. You did, well. You know your eyes get red when you get mad? It's cool." Liam said.
"Yep. They change a bit when I get different moods. Dark brown when I'm happy. Dark red when I'm mad or a mad-serious. Golden or very light brown when I'm sad. It's weird but I got used to them." I said with a shrug.
"Hmm. Nice." Liam replied.
He handed me my water and positioned my towel around my neck so that it wouldn't choke me. I gulped the water down. Feeling the cool, liquidy substance down my throat. I took the cap off, after I was finished, and splashed the water on my head, and then on Liam. At first he was surprised but then he put on a mischievous grin.
"Oh, I'm gonna get you." Liam said with a deep, husky voice.
I gulped. Oh what have I got myself into!
Notes
So, I have very bad news. My Great Big Grandpa (Great Grandpa) passed away on the 18th. I was and still am pretty heartbroken. I feel like he was the glue that kept the family together. He used to tell my sisters and I stories about the wars he fought in, or how my Great Grandma was always on his case but he missed her, and what he thought about when the first telephone poles were being built. When he talked about my Great Grandma he used to get choked up. It was sad to see that he was sad, but he lived a good life. He had cancer, but he said that the doctors told him that it was cured. But my Great Uncle told me that he had miss heard and that the doctors told them that his cancer had trippled in size. I just wanted you to know that because I'm trusting you guys and even though I don't know you, I love you guys.
