The Exchange.

~~~Hayden's POV~~~

it amazed me no one stopped me being the fact I was on crutches. I slowly hopped down the street taking in the sights, my feet carried me down the side walk past people. Everyone gave me a glance eyeing my crutches probably wondering why the hell was I alone in my condition then Continued on.i came to a little nick nack shop at the end of the block. I was entranced by the items in the front display and went in instantly to look.

"hello dear!" An old woman cheered as I stepped through the door. She was tiny with brown hair, she looked about 60.

"Hello mam" I said smiling as I enter the rest of the way in.

"how can I help you sweaty?" She said Comming around the front desk, I took a glance around the shop and shrugged a bit.

"ummm I'm not sure, I saw this place and...I wanted to come look" I said glancing at all the nick nacks. She nodded and went back to her place behind the desk. After a minut of looking around I found a. Beautiful diamond necklace under the glass shield of her desk. It was the most beautiful piece of jewelry I'd ever seen.

"wow...that's beautiful, it looks like a locket my sister got me once..." I said pointing to it. I instantly felt a tear at the memory.


She followed my gaze

"well you have a great eye!" She said pulling out a velvet black box holding the beautiful locket. My eyes scanned the necklace I. Awe.

"it would look amazing on you." She said staring at me. I gave her a smile.

"thnku..but I don't have the money." She nodded and placed the box back in its case.

"well I best be going. My friends are going to be worried. THNKU for letting me look!" I said with a smile.

"any time dear, have a great day."

I stepped out of the shop back into the cool London air. I stopped for a moment resting, my arms were tired. I decided to turn aroun and head home the way I came instead of the whol block.

i arrived back at the house to a very creepy silence. Every one was on the couch...just starring at me as I came in.

"ummm...hey.." I said waving as I shut the door.

"hey!"they all said at once.

i stared for a minute then left to get a shower...weirdos.

Quickly stepping in the bathroom I placed the water on hot running my fingers under it until it was perfect.

slowly stepping out of my close I glanced iAt the scar on my stomache from the reck and frowned.i hated scars...they were imperfections...and I had many more were that came from...

placing my crutches against the shower I grabbed the wall slowly stepping in. The hot water cascaded over my body, I instantly let my head fall back enjoying the serine moment.

i grabbed my lavender shampoo and slowly massaged it into my long brown hair then rinsed it out and repeated with my conditioner. By the time I was done it was noon, I was in here for about 20 minutes. I shrugged and slowly got out. This time ignoring the reflection in the mirror I slipped my panties and bra on and grabbed the rest of my outfit to put on.


I groaned as I grabbed my crutches, I hate these things but without them I'd be on my ass twenty four seven.

"hey el! " I said as I stepped out of my room Comming face to face with her.

"hey! What's up?" I shrugged.

"nothing. What's up with you and the guys?"

Her eyes widend

"nothin. Why?" I raised an eyebrow crossing my arms.

"uhu...well are the guys here still?" She shook her head.

"no they left with perrie and Sophie to...ummm..pick some stuff up at there house...there spending the night again." She let here words linger and I instantly new she was hiding somthing. I decided not to push and just turned to go back in my room.

"ok...?" She smiled and quickly strudded away. Everyone is acting WIERD.

i went back in my room flopping on my freshly made bed. I decided to text harry and see if he new what was going on.

~~~harry POV~~~

me and the lads walked down the street keeping our eyes pealed for fans. Perrie and sophy had left for the mall to meet el and pick Hayden's outfit out, knowing she wouldn't agree to picking something to the style of the ocation. I argued no but the girls pressed saying it be fun if we did...we were taking Hayden to her first club on Monday.

my phone buzzed in my pocket making me jump a bit. Quickly pulling it out I noticed a text from Hayden.

I laughed at her text..she has nooo clue..

I quickly shoved my phone in my back pocket as loud screams erupted from behind us. Me and the lads instantly darted into a small nick nack shop dodging the crazed fans.

noticing who we are the lady locked the door behind us.

"well you boys sure no how to attract a crowed!" She said with a laugh.

we all chuckled.

"wellll...let's look for a present for Hayden hear harry...I'm sure we can find somthing for her" louis said. Me and the lads were out looking for presents. I was on a mission to find her somthing amazing.

"oh! What are u boys looking for in particular?!" The old woman said Comming around.

"ummm I'm not sure...it's for my girlfriend..all I no is I want it to be special." She nodded. Her head glancing around the shop.

"I may have somthing..if you don't mind..may I see a picture of her?" I thought for a moment then pulled one up on my phone. Showing it to her quickly. Her eyes went wyed.

"your a lucky boy! I met her this morning she's so sweet!" She said going back to her desk and pulling out a key.. I furrowed my eyebrows trying to figure out why she would have come in. Then I rememberd she took a walk this morning. I'm still curious as to why she went on a walk with crutches.

"oh...was there anything she was interested in?"

The lady stood quickly with a key in hand.

"yeah, she was in love with a necklace here..said it reminded her of a necklace she got from her sister once."

My eyes widend.

" May I see it?" She sat a velvet box on the counter opening it, revealing a silver chain with a purple locket on the end. It had white diamonds around it and was beautiful. I placed a finger to the chain instantly knowing it was what I had to get her.

"it's perfect!" She nodded and closed the case. She took it to the back and disappeared for a moment with it wrapped in a white box and tied with a silver ribbon. Smiling she handed it to me.

"here you go sun." I went to hand her some money when she pushed my hand back. I looked at her confused.

"keep it...young love is precious and you two truly have it...just watching you talk about her your face lit up." I looked to the guys who all had grins.

"are you sure? Money is no issue." She just nodded and shewe'd us out the door. The fans were gone luckily. I stood there dumb founded for a moment...was I falling In Love with Hayden? Was it that obvious?
