Katie's POV

"What the hell is going on? What am I missing?" I say franticly scanning my brain for anything I've done wrong in the past month.

My mum gave me a large and very forced smile while wiping the mascara off of her cheeks. I still feel like crying just by looking at her and I'm not even sure what is going on.

My dad came back into the house carrying one of my pink suitcases that was in the garage.
"Katie we need you to pack some clothes, enough for about a week maybe even two. And then you can go to Ashley's house and pack for her too. We have called Ashley's parents and she'll be staying with you."

"Staying with me where? What have I done wrong? I'm really sorry!" I screamed at both my parents since they weren't answering my questions.

My mum came over and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. My parents didn't show much affection towards me sine I turned thirteen. I always just thought it was because I was a teenager so today was defiantly scaring me.

My mum started to stroke my hair and cried again. Okay I'm definitely missing something.
My dad eventually pulled my mum off me and told me to sit down on the couch with Ash.

"Your going to be staying in a hotel for a while, We can't tell you why yet but everything is sorted out and paid for and we will visit you in a couple of days when this starts to die down."

I stand out of anger. Are they trying to get rid of me? Did I really fuck up that bad?

"Did I screw up that badly?"

"No sweetheart, everything is going to be okay. Don't worry."

----At the hotel----

"This is so screwed up! They just drop us off here and leave crying like their never going to see me again! What the hell am I missing!" I yelled while pacing around the overly expensive hotel room.

Ashley just sat on her bed and watched me freak out. Once I started to calm down she patted the spot next to her. I sat down next to her and she gave me a hug. Not just a normal hug but the kind your best friend gives you that makes every little worry slip out of your head, the kind of hug that makes you realize that only your true best friend could comfort you in such a way

After that we explore the hotel room for a while. This place was amazing! it was like the kind of hotel you would see in the movies. I didn't even know that New Zealand had place's like this. I guess mum and dad just wanted to make me less angry by putting us in a place like this.

All of the sudden we heard a knock at the hotel door and both froze not really knowing who it could be. We looked at each other with weird expressions before Ashley decided to say something since I wasn't going too.

"Who is it?" Ash said in a weary tone.

"Oh um I was just wondering if you have any spare food, my um friend ate all ours." The person said without even telling us his name. Okay I guess we might as well answer the door.

I made my way to the door with Ash next to me, I wasn't really sure if we should answer the door since this person could a rapist or some other kind of weirdo.

Once I opened the door I was shocked to see Harry Styles of all people leaning against the door frame on his phone.

"Harry?" I said shocked and not really knowing what else to say.

He looked up at us and his eyes went wide instantly. I guess he's just as shocked as us.

"Oh fuck." He whispered before walking away as fast as he could.

Why does this day seem to be getting weirder by the minute?
