Dear Sam,

Today was the first day visiting your grave since your funeral. I placed two yellow roses beside your stone, because I know they are your favorite. "Look, Harry." You said to me, pointing at a yellow rose bush as we took a stroll downtown. "Lovely, can we keep walking now?" I said, grabbing your hand and yanking you forward. "No I want to pick one! They're my favorite flower after all." I sighed as you skipped up to the bush and carefully picked one. Your smile lit up as you twirled the rose around in your hands. "Okay now we can go." You laughed and continued to walk. I almost started to cry as I replayed that memory in my head. I'm not quite sure what you did with that rose, Sam, but if I could just see it twirling around in your hands one last time, I think I would be satisfied.

I also visited your mum today and she seemed to be doing well. She cried and then broke down momentarily when she opened the door and found me stood outside, but soon after she let me in and put the kettle on. We talked for an hour sam, a whole hour.. I still remember meeting her for the first time and oh god, I was an absolute mess.
"So you're Harry?" Your mom said to me as I took my shoes off in your entry way. I nervously made my way into your kitchen and you offered me a cup of tea. I nodded my head and you took the kettle out. "Tell me about yourself, love." Your mum said as we sat down at the table. "Ehm.." was all I could manage to say as she stared me down. You simply laughed and gave me my cup of hot tea, which I slurped at nervously. I miss hearing you laugh and seeing your smile, Sam..If I could've just told you how-
I've to go, my mum is calling me down for dinner.
