Stuck in the clouds.
Warm summers day memory.
Dear Sam,
On a warm summers day, I watched you twirl around in the breeze . Your laughter filled my heart with happiness . "Okay loser, sit your bum down now and enjoy this pathetic picnic I made for us." I said to you as you slowed down. "Oh come on Harry, live a little!" You said and grabbed my hand, pulling me up. Our bodies were soon intertwined as we danced around in the open. You threw your head back in laughter as I tripped and went tumbling to the ground. I couldn't help but laugh as well. Your laugh, it's contagious you know .I will never forget how beautiful your eyes looked that day. I took in every inch of your body and how your summers tan radiated in the sun. This was the first day I knew I loved you and although I wasn't ready to say, I was hoping you already knew .
"Harry, you incompetent monkey, learn how to dance!" You laughed at me, helping me up off the ground once more. "Sorry." I said, blushing. You carried on dancing around and eventually I joined. Your hair blew around as your legs jumped and hopped around. I slyly took your waist and momentarily slowed your dancing. You smiled at me and half turned to give me a kiss on the cheek. "One day Harry, we're going to dance in every park in London, ok?" Your face lit up as you finished your last word. I simply nodded and continued to hold you close as we danced to the rhythm the wind made within the trees. After that day together, I promised myself that I would pluck up the courage to tell you that I wanted to be more than friends. I never got the chance Sam, but maybe somehow you'll read this and finally know just how I felt about you.
The night is creeping on me, and here I am writing to you about these memories that replay in my head everyday. I still clearly remember taking you home after that day and giving you my jacket because I wanted you to feel that much closer to me... That much safer around me. I guess there isn't much else to say about this day so,
Goodnight Sam, I love you.
