Wolfs

Aubrey climbed out of her old jeep and walked to the front door. She nocked on it but it was already open.

“Derek? You there, where’s Isaac?” She asked him, no answer. Then she saw both Derek and Isaac on a old couch. She walked towards the two boys, her 18 year old brother looked up and smiled. Aubrey smiled back and walked towards the both of them.

“Hey Isaac, how you doing?” she asked him with concern in her voice.She looked at Derek and raised an eyebrow, wanting him to explain.Derek sighed and looked at the both of them, waiting for him to tell them what happened.

“I have to explain some things before I can tell you what happened.” He told the two teens, they nodded their heads with big eyes.

“Ten years ago, when my family was shot they weren’t shot by some crazy people. They were hunters. They hunt werewolves. It runs in my family, but mostly the men get it. I am one of those men. The hunters shot my entire family, some weren’t even werewolf’s but they didn’t care. At the time I didn’t know what I was, I just thought I was a freak. When the shooting happened I was at school. But when I came home everything was silent but the entire house was ruined. Isaac, you were bitten by a alpha. That is the highest rank of werewolf. Every pack has one. I’m an alpha and….”

Derek stopped but Isaac wanted to know more. “And what Derek? What did you do?” he asked him with determination in his voice.

Derek sighed again, but started talking “and, I bit you. I’m sorry I really am! I didn’t know it was you until it was to late. The men you heard shouting ‘MOVE’ was a hunter, he tried to kill me. Since I have bitten you, you are now a part of my pack. You are a beta, that is one rank lower then the alpha. Under the beta comes the omega, those are the weakest. When you belong to a pack the entire pack becomes stronger. There are many good sides of being a werewolf, no one can ever hurt you accept for the hunters. You can see- smell and hear thing you never even noticed. But there are also bad sides, you always have to be careful. No one can no what you are or you’re dead. Also if an alpha, me, orders you to do something you can’t ignore that.I know it is a lot to handle but the three of us can become a very strong pack.” Derek said smiling.

Isaac let all the information sink in but then smiled. Aubrey looked at her brother confused. “Isaac, why are you smiling? You were just told you are a freaking werewolf! And you are being hunted!” Isaac kept smiling but then answered his sister.

“Aubrey, think about it. Dad can never hurt us anymore. We can run away with Derek and we can become a strong pack and defeat everyone!” Isaac shouted the last part happily.

Aubrey still had her doubts but smiled, but that smile soon turned into a frown. “Derek, you said the three of us. Who is the third?”

Derek nodded “I was wondering when that question would come. I had this plan that maybe I can turn you? Al I have to do is bite you and you’ll be just as strong and powerful as Isaac and me.” Derek said smiling.

Isaac nodded agreeing with Derek “Think about it sis, no one can ever hurt us again! We’ll train and fight and soon George and all those people who we hate are all behind us.”

Aubrey nodded smiling, she still had her doubts but if being a werewolf means no more George, she is all in!“Okay, I want to be changed.” She said smiling. Suddenly Derek frowned “Derek, what’s wrong?” she asked him.

“I forgot to tell you one detail. I already told you that only the men are werewolf’s in my family right?” Isaac and Aubrey both nodded. “well, I have never actually seen a female werewolf so It could be you’ll die when I bite you. Are you ready to take that risk?” Derek asked her with hope in his voice.

He had upset another pack and if they find out he doesn’t have a pack, he is screwed. He needs these two teens to survive.

Aubrey nodded “Let’s do this!” Derek smiled widely and so did Isaac.
