The Flight That Changed My Life

Louis POV:

Niall and I had just settled into our seats and I notice there's a seat in between us. Niall's squirming, trying to get comfortable while keeping his eyes locked on the door to the plane. I thought about jabbing him in the side, taking advantage of his distraction, but as I lean over I see his eyes visibly light up. I turn and look towards the door and notice that Jenni had just entered behind Zayn. I smile automatically, she's so cute when she scrunches her eyes together in concentration. Then she does a double take from her ticket to us, and starts walking over here. I lean back in my seat and enjoy the rear view as she scooches past Niall facing away from is ;) Damn! I notice Niall looking as well, his cheeks heating up as she plops down beside him, smiling, raising her eyebrow at him. Hahaha, busted! "Enjoyed the view?," she says through her smirk. I can't help but laugh at Niall's flustered expression, poor bloke went to an all boys' school - he didn't know how to respond. "Well .. Urm.. I," he stutters, but I cut him off. "Geez Niall, try and control yourself would you?" I say as my laugh trickles down to a chuckle. Then Jenni spins around and cocks that eyebrow at me. "Oh, and you're one to talk? I have peripheral vision in BOTH eyes you know. I saw you looking too Louis!" She says real sassy. Damn, she caught me too. "Well, I'm a 19 year old boy, sweetheart, of course I'm gonna look!" I reply, cocking my own eyebrow. Two can play at this sassy thing, ESPECIALLY me. "And did YOU enjoy the view?" she says, without breaking. She's better at banter than I thought! Oh it's on... "It was more than satisfactory darling" I say as I thicken my accent and wink back at her. If not for the slight tinge of rosiness in her cheeks, I would've thought nothing would faze her. She's adorable, I think to myself, as I stare into those brown-green eyes. "Well you should've taken a picture, because you'll never see it again," she returns, regaining the slight lapse in her composure. "Either of you too realize I'm still here?" Niall says, looking slightly disgruntled. I'm sorry mate, but I can tell this one's a keeper, so if he thinks I'm just gonna let him have her he is sorely mistaken. "Of course Niall, I could never forget about you! Why don't you pick the movie; Sydney White or A League Of Their Own?" she replies with a hug before rooting around her bag for her laptop. Before she bent over I noticed even more heat rushed to her cheeks. Yes! That's one point for Louis! She resurfaces with her laptop, but waits until we've taken off to open it up. She averts our gazes as she closes down her iTunes where our album was listed as most played. "Umm, how about Sydney White?" Niall says, as he scooches closer to her. Well, to top that, I scoot over too and wrap my arm around her shoulder, giving it a squeeze as I say, "That sounds fantastic, go ahead and start it up, love." She smiles at each of us and leans back, wrapping her arms around her knees, placing her chin on her knee caps.
