Before I Met You

"Olivia! Would you come down here please?!" my mother yells up at me.
I walk down the stairs.
"What is it mom?" i ask.

"The neighbors have invited us over for dinner..." she says.
I nod.
"So i want you to dress up nice... actually focus on your appearance for once." she says.
I nod again and walk upstairs.

Focus on my appearance?
What was that supposed to mean?

I go upstairs and into my room.
I don't own very many cute dresses.
I grabbed all the dresses i don't wear and laid them on the bed.
I snuck into my moms room and stole the make up silently.

I finally found the dress i wanted to wear.
I did manage to curl my hair.
I took a look in the mirror.
The only thing i was missing was make up.

I went to my bathroom mirror.
Applying the make up carfully.

I saw my amazing work and was proud.

I walked down the stairs.
"Olivia! You look amazing!" Heather says.
My mom comes rushing to see me.
"Wow... now that's what i'm talking about." she says.
"Um... I hope you don't mind mom... i took your make up." i say.
"Don't worry dear... you can keep it... i never use it anyways." she says.

"Let's go... we only have to walk 2 houses down." my father says.

Toby rings the doorbell.
"Why hello neighbors!" i nice woman says.
"Hey there Anna... kids this is Anna." my mom says.
"How are you doing Grace?" Anna asks my mom.
"I'm fine... these are my children... Heather... Toby... and Olivia."
"Why Olivia... you are one beautiful girl." Anna says.
"Awe thanks." i smile.

"Kids our guests are here!" Anna yells up the stairs.
I saw a girl run down them.
She had beautiful blonde hair.
"This is my daughter Georgia." Anna says introducing us.
"I'm olivia!" i smile.
"Hi!" she says.

I see s boy walking down now.
We make eye contact and i notice who it is.
Zayn.
I scald at the sight of him.
He let's a smirk roll across his face.
"This is Zayn."
I nod and force a smile.

I thought he lived at that one house he was making out with that girl at.
I think for a bit and come up with a solution.
That was the girls house.
I Give a face palm.
Great... now i have to spend dinner with him.

"Zayn why don't you go sit next to Olivia." Anna says.
Great.
Now i have to sit next to him too.

Our parents talked and talked.
My dad talked about his job and my mom talked about her's.
Anna asked me a few questions about school.
Things were going great.

"So Olivia... Are you friends with Zayn?" she asks.
Ok...maybe not so great.
I hesitate to answer.
"He did say he met the new girl named Olivia today."
I glance over at him.
He glances back.

"Well... i um.... You see.... i just met him and all.... so i don't know yet." i say.
Nice save Lili.
"Oh ok... you just need to get to know him is all." she says.
I nod.

"Thanks for dinner Anna... see you soon!" my mom says as we are walking home.
I get a cold chill and try to warm up my arms.

When we get home i go to my room and remove my make up and throw my hair in a braid.
I slip on my pajamas and get under my warm covers.
I slowly drift off to sleep.

*Nightmare*

"She is worthless... she is ugly... and she has no future!" My bully Gavin yells.
I sit there on the ground waiting for what is coming next.
He gets down to the ground and grips my hair in his hands.

He yanks my head back.
I begin to whimper.
"You worthless piece of SHIT!" he yells Slapping me multiple times.

*End of nightmare*

I scream and kick.
"No! No!!! Leave me Alone! I don't want this! Don't hurt me!!" i scream.

My family runs into my room.
My mom shakes me so i wake up from my terrible dream.

My Eyes swing open.
"You'll be ok Oli." she says wrapping her arms around me.
I cry onto her shoulder.
"That was Anna... she wanted to know if Olivia was ok." my dad says.

My mom nods.
My sobs turn into soft tears.
"Ok... You get some sleep now." my mom says getting up and walking out of my room.
Toby closes my window.
"Goodnight Olivia." he says.
"Goodnight Toby." i say.

I go back to sleep.
Hoping i don't have another...
