Before I Met You

"Dad and I call the master bedroom at the end of the hall!" my mom yells as they run up the stairs to claim their room.
I follow behind as i claim my room.
It has a bathroom in it so i'll be fine.

There was a little seat area by the window where i could put pillows and blankets.
I had a huge twin size bed too.

Our house was huge and everything in the house was too.

"Seems you have been quiet lately." My older brother Toby says.
"N-No i havent." i say.
He gives me a look that says 'I know that's not true'.
"Come on LiLi... I know you are lying. you didn't say anything the whole flight and drive here." he says walking into my room.

"I'm just sad." i say.
He nods knowing that i am.
"I know it was hard for you to leave all of your friends. Trust me i know." he says bringing his arms around me for a hug.
I hug back.

"Now get unpacking we have to go to bed soon... we have school in the morning." Toby says.
He walks out and i'm alone.

*The Next Day*

My alarm clock goes off.
I shut it off and get up.

I go into the bathroom and turn on the shower letting the water warm up before i get in.
The water goes warmly down my body.
I never really wanted to move.
The only reason i was happy that we did is because of all the bullying.

No one knew i was being bullied but me.
I never intended to tell anyone.

I turn off the water and walk out into my closet after drying off.
I get out a pink tank top and a pair of white shorts.
I grab a pair of flip-flops and walk out getting changed.

I put my wavy hair up in a ponytail.
It looked a little messy but i didn't care.
I never really cared much about my appearance.
I walk down the stairs and grab a banana.

"Come on Olivia!" i hear my sister Heather yell.
I run out after her as we get into Toby's car.
"Let's go girls... our first day of school awaits us." he smiles.
Heather and i giggle.

Our family is really close.
We don't fight very offten.
When we do we always make up in the end.
I think Toby and I are the closest.
Heather is mor closer to my mother than toby and i.

We pull into the school parking lot.
We sit there for 2 or 3 minutes.
"Ready?" Toby asks as we all get out of the car.
"Yea." Heather and i say in unison.

We walk into the building and to the office.
"Um... Toby Wood, Olivia Wood, and Heather Wood... we are here to get our schedule's." Toby says.
The lady behind the desk smiles.
"Why you must be the new students... Welcome to Bridge Wall High School." he says handing us our schedule's.
"Thank you." i say.

"Looks like i have foolball today after school." toby says.
"Oh i have drama after school too." Heather says.
"You are going to have to walk home from school today Lili." Toby says.
I nod.
We all then go our separate ways.

My first class is writing class.
As i walk in the teacher was talking about a project.
"Oh You must be Ms.Wood... I'm Mrs. Nawlid." the teacher says.
I wave and give a little smile.
"There is a seat back there by Mr.Malik... you can sit there." she says.
I nod and go sit.

I sit the teacher give a lecture about the projects.
Apparently we are to write a short story about ourselves.
Great.

I feel a tap on my shoulder.
I look over at the guy sitting next to me.
"I'm Zayn." he says.
"I'm Olivia." i say back.

Through the whole class i could feel him staring at me.
Every once in a while i would glance over.

The bell finally rang.
I walk out and get to my locker.
I Had already put pictures in it.
It looked pretty.

My next class was Chemistry.
I walked in and sat in the last row behind a girl.
She turned around.
"Hi I'm Madiline!" she smiles.
"I'm Olivia but you can call me Lili." i smile back.
"Nice to meet you Lili!" she says.

She reminds me of myself.
How i used to be before i started getting bullied.
A free spirit.
Cheerful and happy all the time.

It was lunch time now.
I was walking down the hallway when i ran into someone.
"Sorry." i say looking up.
It was Zayn.
"Watch where your going." he says.
He sounds pissed off.

"Here you sit here... i'll be back." Madiline says.
"Kay." i say back.
i sit there for a while waiting for her to get back.

Zayn's P.O.V

I was so pissed.
I don't know why but i was.
Although i felt bad for being ma\ean to the new girl olivia.

I walked into the lunchroom and spotted her.
I walk over to her.

"Hey um... i just want to say..."
"What do you want?" she asks as she crosses her arms.
"Well with that attitude i'm not going to say it!" i yell.
All Goes quiet.
"Fine then if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all." she says.
Ok now she really pissed me off.
"God Damn Bitch!" i yell.

I could see the tears forming in her eyes.
She gathered her things and ran off.
I noticed everything was still quiet.
"What are you looking at?!" i yell at them.

Olivia's P.O.V

I run straight to the bathroom.
Why was he so mean.
I did nothing to him.
Geez.

I hear foot steps outside the door.
Madiline comes in.
"You ok Lili?" she asks.
I nod.
"I think i'll be fine." i says.
She pulls me in for a hug.
I might have just met her but she was super nice.

My last class of the day was a Self Confidence class.
I walked in.
"Ah you must be the new student! I'm Mrs. Dandilion." she says.
"I'm Olivia Wood." i smile.
"Please take a seat class will begin in a bit." she says.

I take a seat in the back row alone.
Zayn walks in just before the bell rings.
He sits down 4 seats beside me.

"Ok class we are going to begin a couple of projects these next couple weeks so, i am letting you choose a partner for these projects. Now listen, this partner will be your partner for the rest of the year so choose wisely." she says.
Everyone scrambles to find a partner.

After that is done i look around to see who is left.
Zayn does the same.
"Well Mr. Malik and Ms. Wood... looks like you are the only 2 left so you will be partners." she smiles.

I look over at Zayn.
When we make eye contact i roll my eyes.

The final bell rang and i could finally walk home.
"See ya tomorrow Lili!" madiline yells.
I begin to walk home.

On my way i notice a guy and a girl getting out of a car.
He starts to make out with her on the porch of the house.
When i look closer i notice it's Zayn.
I roll my eyes and keep walking.

When i get home (Finally) i go upstairs to my room and start up my homework.
I really didn't need to be behind in homework.

Toby wasn't home.
Heather wasn't home.
My Parents weren't home.
It was just me...
