Sophia's POV

Shortly after seeing Ashton and Michael deciding to tag along, I simply turned around and said: "Get some sleep."

I yawned and rubbed at my eyes.

"Good morning." Ashton chirped.

I ignored him and pulled out my book.

"So you're mad at me?" He pouted.

I turned the page.

"Ha! Phia looooves me. Don't ya?" Michael said, turning to face me.

I held my stolid expression and continued reading Fallen. It was actually a really good book about Fallen Angels and true love. Sounds sappy, but it's great.

"Fine. We just passed Louisiana. Dinner's coming in a half hour." Ashton snapped. He turned and put a pair if headphones on, watching a movie.

"Listen. We just were worried about you. Okay?" Michael said, turning around.

I looked out the window. I just really wanted some time for myself. To hang with my friends from high school and talk to my mom.

Then again, I was hoping someone would come after me.
To show me they cared. I get it. I kinda used them.
I don't mind, because now I know I'm not alone.
That I have real friends.

"Mikey?" I asked.

"Yeah?" He said, turning around.

The stewardess looked at Michael, scanning him.
He looked like a goth thug with his colored hair and piercing.

Really, he was a sweet guy and was really funny.
He was adorable and really really loved his pizza.

"Did you guys tweet anything?" I asked. I hope he saw the worry in my voice.

His cheeks flushed.
"Yeah."

I sighed.
"Okay. Well I guess we will have to face the fans."

I turned to see Ashton dozing quite deeply. I wondered if he tweeted or posted anything.

He laughed.
"Yeah. Hey think we get burgers? I heard there is a great place."

"Why not?" I said smiling.

We pulled our suitcases along with us.
I had called airport security and asked for a barricade.
One security guard wasn't enough.

"Wait! She's my friend you idiot! Let me through!" Someone yelled.

I turned to see my two bestfriends blocked off by an airport guard.

Ashton and Michael caught up with me.
"Who are they?" Ashton asked.

"Friends!" I yelled.

I dropped my bags and ran to Luce and Eric.

We grouped hugged.

"I would slap you right now. Come to your house and your mom tells me Simon Cowell signed you! Then all the fan accounts I follow started talking about a new chick and it was you!" Luce said.

"Touring the world. C'mon Soph. I wanna see Brazil."
Eric said pouting and sticking his lip out.

I laughed and I saw Mikeh and Ash stand awkwardly behind me.

Luce gasped.
"Eric. Do you see who that is?" She hissed, shaking his arm.

"Hi. I'm Michael." Michael said, introducing himself.

"I'm gonna faint." Luce whispered as she awkwardly hugged him.

"Ashton." Ashton said, greeting my friends.

"Eric, Luce, these Aussies are my other friends." I said.

Eric picked up my bag.

"In-n-out? It's your favorite." He said smiling.

I hugged him once more.
"God, I missed you guys. Yeah. We're famished."

Our security guard Al followed us to load our things in a car.

"Damn. Security?" Luce said.

I pursed my lips and tossed my hair over my shoulder.
"Well, dahling. We are famous." I drawled.

We pulled up to an In-n-Out by the beach.

A couple minutes later, we were all seated outside a burger in our hands and a shake in the other hand.

"This is heaven." Michael said.

"Try this." Luce said, swirling a French fry in her chocolate shake.

"Americans are weird." He said, crinkling his nose.

We laughed. He picked up the fry and placed it in his mouth.

"It is good!" He said, chuckling.

Luce and Michael took turns dipping in each other's shakes.

"Those two hit it home." Ashton said, taking a bite of his burger.

Eric laughed.
"She knows everything about him. And you. And Luke and Calum. She knows Luke likes penguins, and your laugh is so precious."

I bust out laughing along with Ashton.

"She's obsessed! I swear I can't believe she hasn't fainted from excitement." Eric said.

I picked up our trash and tossed it in the bin.

"Fan wave!" I yelled, running to the table.

A good twenty-five girls ran out of the restaurant.

"Ashton! Michael!" They yelled.

Ashton and Michael walked over to take pictures.

"I thought you'd be different. You're still the same Sophia that I. I mean you're still you." Eric said.

"I know. Why aren't you being mobbed?" Luce said.

"The fans. Um. They don't really like me. Both 5sos fan and Directioners. Think I'm just a fake for Larry Styljnson. Really, I was a cover up for Harry and Cassia. Then we became serious, like really serious, and he broke up with me."
I sighed.

"I know. The fan accounts I follow talk about you. I just wanted to find out if it was true. I'm sorry." Luce said.

"Yeah. I don't care. I'm just glad I can perform. I just had a meeting with the directors of iTunes. I'm releasing an EP."

"That's great. I'm so proud of you!" Eric said, ruffling my hair.

"Do you think Michael notices I'm fangirling? I don't wanna seem like an obsessed psycho." Luce said, wringing her hands.

Eric teased her. "You are one."

She elbowed him in the ribs.

Thankfully, Ashton and Mikey jogged over.
The two stopped messing around

"Gosh.the fans are great." Michael said.

We all laughed.

"I just get hate." I said.

"Not anymore!" Ashton said.
He pulled out his phone and we arranged ourselves for a picture.

"Tag yourself and I'll follow you guys!" Ashton said, adding his phone to my friends.

"Same." Mikey said, tossing his phone.

"Now that that's done, let's go to the studio!" Eric yelled, running to the car.

Luce and Michael followed him.

"I like you friends." Ashton said, leaning his elbow on my shoulder. I smiled at him.

"Good. They like you guys as well." I replied.
