Through The Dark

Sophia's POV

We just finished the South America tour.
It was a m a z i n g .

After the first three concerts, everyone loosened up abut.
I changed my songs from post-breakup Adele inspired songs, to more upbeat and happy songs.

We were scheduled for Dublin on the 23rd, which was a couple of weeks away. We had time to do what we wanted.

5sos, and 4/5 of One Direction and I were in the living room discussing our plans for the break.

"I'll head over Ireland early. To see my family." Niall said.

He really missed his family. Well, everyone did really.

"Going to visit Perrie." Zayn said.

The others agreed that they were going home or to see someone.

"I'm going to California." I said.

Harry walked into the living room, sitting down beside Niall.
"Who's going where?"

"Phia is going to California." Liam said.

"Absolutely not." Harry retorted.

I gasped. "Since when do you have a say? I'm going, and that's final."

"No." Harry said. "You can't go alone."

"I'm fine! The worst that will happen is some surfer dude will ask me for some sun spray." I retorted.

Louis counted the number of security guards we have.
"One for Zerrie..." He frowned. "Nope. We don't have enough to spread out."

"You can't go. You'll have to stick with one of us." Liam said.

"You could get attacked." Niall pointed out.

I threw my hands up in the air.
"God! I love you guys, but you don't have to be so damn overprotective."

I stood up.

"I'll go with you." Someone said.

I turned to see Ashton smiling up at me.

"No. I want to go by myself. Just leave me alone!" I yelled, storming out to my room.

I pulled out my laptop, and purchased a ticket for the next flight to Los Angeles. I was satisfied as I heard the printer printing my ticket in the hallway.

I showered quickly, did my hair, and changed.

I folded all my clothes, packed up all my toiletries, and stuffed them into my two suitcases.

I grabbed my ticket as I passed the hallway.

"Goodbye. I'll see you guys on the 20th." I said, peeking my head into the living room.

They all looked up, and jumped to their feet.

Time to run. I bolted out the door, and took the elevator.

The doors closed on the sight of eight guys running after me.

Thank god. I needed to see family and friends, catch up on stuff I had missed. I moved to London a year ago, and never made contact.

I hailed a taxi, used the google translate to tell him I needed to get to the air port in Portuguese.
I texted my mom, telling her I'd be arriving the next day.
She quickly responded, saying she missed me and it was time.

The taxi stopped at at the North American terminal.
I stuffed a wad of bills into his hand and pulled my suitcases out.

I needed to hurry. I payed extra for the no security check, so I passed security and checked in my bags.

The he flight was finally boarding. I picked up my bag and sat down in my assigned seat. I was checking my Twitter.

I decided to tweet.

I began to text friend, telling them I was arriving homex

Someone sat beside me.
I didn't look up.
"No worries, I don't snore." I said, typing away.

"That's all right. I've heard you sleep anyways." The passenger said.

What. The. Hell. I turned to see the passenger.

"You creep! I don't even...." My voice faltered as I saw Ashton sitting next to me. Michael was sitting in front of us, and he was leaning over the seat, smiling.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked.

"Eh. I've always wanted to go to Venice beach. " Ashton said, grinning.
