Through The Dark

Sophia's POV
I clenched my skirt as I rode in the limo on the way to Simon's office. Apparently, he wanted to discuss an important matter with Harry and I.

Behind us, another limo cruised along.

Simon on told me the new deal he had to offer was profitable to my future.

But what does Harry Styles have to do with it?

I swallowed the uneasiness away as we pulled up to the building. I stepped out, and closed the door myself.

Valet is so overrated.

I walked through the revolving door, into the lobby and towards the elevator. I pushed the button repeatedly.

A security guard eyed me, and I scoffed and turned away.

Stepping into the elevator, I waited for the doors to close.

"Wait!" A voice called, and a hand stuck it's way through the path of the steel doors.

The doors pulled back to reveal a panting Harry.

He breathily chuckled as he pressed the door close button.

I pulled out my phone and scrolled through my Instagram feed.

"I'm Harry, by the way." He spoke up.

"I know." I murmured.

"And you are.. Sophia? Imma call you Soph!" He exclaimed.

"Uh.. I guess." I stammered.

There was an awkward pause.

"12th Floor," the computerized voice chirped.

The doors opened and I stepped out quickly.

Walking towards the receptionist, I looked around.

Simon's got a nice building, if I do say so myself.

I noticed Harry was walking beside me.

"I- We have a meeting with Simon at 8." I informed her.

The petite receptionist led us over to a talk oak door, and pushed it open.

"Have a good day!" She chimed and walked back to her desk.

I walked into into the office first.

"Ah, Sophia. Pleasure to see you." Simon greeted .

"Thanks, Simon." I replied and sat down.

Harry sat down beside me.

"Sophia, as you have most likely heard, it has been quite a tough year for Harry." He began.

I quirked an eyebrow, while Harry seemed to tense up.

"I have decided that we need to show the world that Harry is alright. And that, my dear, is where you come in." Simon said.

(A.N. no pun intended :))

Harry sighed and I crossed my arms.

"And how exactly are we going to do that?" I asked.

"You are going to pose as Harry's girlfriend. Harry, Sophia's boyfriend." Simon stated.

"What?!" Harry and I exclaimed.

"But..." Harry stammered.

"... We don't even know each other!" I shrieked, finishing his sentence.

"Hey, you're already finishing each other's sentences!" Simon pointed out.

I scowled.

"We will pay you two. After all, you will be touring together for a couple months." Simon replied.

"Absolutely not!" Harry retorted.

"Its not your choice, Harry. This whole dilemma is affecting your fans and your career. So we bring in someone to cheer them up. It also gets Sophia publicity." Simon told him .

"What exactly do we do? And for how long?" I asked.

"Go out to eat. Post pictures together. Have paparazzi notice. Go to awards and movie premieres. And as long as possible." He answered.

"Do we have to.. Kiss?" Harry asked.

I blushed.
"Um.. Not yet. " Simon replied.

"So., when do we uh. Go out?" I asked.

Simon glanced at the time.
"Now. We have arranged something. From now on, whenever. You two want." He replied cooly.

"Are you serious? Now?" Harry scoffs.

Simin leads us out to the elevators.

"Yes, now. The limo is waiting outside. Have fun!" Simon yelled as the elevator doors closed.

"Oh my god." Harry sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

I turned to him.

"So.. Any idea where we're going?" I asked.
