Road trip gone wrong...Yet so right!

~ Gabby's P.O.V ~
"Am I forgetting anything?" I ask myself taking one last look around my blue room. I go through the list in my head. Check, check, check. I seemed to have everything ready to go in my suit case that was waiting downstairs. I'm so ready! Ready for whatever comes my way! This is were I find my true self. Not the shy me that everyone knows, but the loud me. That I know is somewhere inside of me scratching for its way out and the only people who I know that could help bring her out is Scarlet and Arianna. My forever friends :) I smiled warmly as I think of them for a short moment. "Oh shit." I gasp while seeing the time on my clock 9:49am. Better leave right now before I get barked at for being a minuet late, which I don't blame then I'm more anxious then ever. I take a breath and smelt the sweet aroma of my room for the last time before I come back, but who knows when that will be. Slowly closing the door behind me knowing I'm not going to miss it at all.
I grabbed the handle on the suit case gripping it firmly while rolling it towards my front door. "Wait Gabby!" A voice called. I turned to see my parents and younger sister who is 12 standing in the hallway. My mom near to tears and my dad smiling so proud. The voice was my sister, Dani. She was always so special to me. "Yes dani?" I asked her, waiting for her response. Instead of her answering me she looked at me a look of sadness on her face. Dani, raced to me wrapping her little arms around me in a bear hug. "I'm going to miss you, Gabs." She whimpered in my stomach. "I'm going to miss you more, Dani." I said in sympathy. She let go of me, a smile now on her face. "Goodbye everyone." I announced. Taking the door knob and turning it, opening the door. "Goodbye." They all echoed. I could hear my mom starting to sob as I shut the door that soon blocked out any nose from inside. I understand she's sad I'm going and that none of them want me to take this trip, but I need to start thinking of my feelings and this was the first step. I quickly walked to my vintage car opening the trunk and placing my black suitcase inside. I felt the car cushions against my body as I sat in the driver seat. I was nervous but so happy. I pushed the key in the Ignition turning the car on, feeling the slight vibration runing throughout me. I gripped the stearing wheel with my left hand, using my right to put the Miley Cyrus CD in. Our favorite. I pushed on the gas. Heading my way to pick up the girls.
"Whoooo!" I called out while parking in front of Scarlets house. I honked twice even tho she was already waiting in the driveway for me. "Yay! You ready for the trip of your life?!" She calls to me while I turn the music down. "I've been ready for 12 years now!" I replyd my voice filled with laughter. I got out of the car to help her with her bags. "How many bags do you need?" I asked her. My mind in awe. She has three suit cases and I only have one. "It takes effort to look as hot as me." Scarlet explained sarcasticlly. "Yeah yeah your hot." I grumpily say. She was hot and I knew I wasn't. She frowned at me for a moment but then sweetly smiled. "And you Gabby, are gorgeous." Scar said sweetly. Leaning to me and giving me a kiss on my cheek. She was the best always making me feel better. I smiled at me her teeth showing. "Shall we go then?" I asked shutting the trunk door with her bags packed inside. "Duhh" she yelled. We chuckled. Slipping into my car. I pressed on the gas once more heading to Ariannas house this time.
"Ari! Get your ass out here!" Scar yelled out for Arianna while I followed with a honk. we couldn't help but laugh as she rushed out of her front door carying as much bags as she could handle. "Needs so help?" Scarlet giggled to her. Arianna nodded her help in plead. We both rose from the car and grabbed the bags she was struggling with. "Thanks, omg the top is down?!" She looked at us in confusion. It took me a second to realize what she was talking about. "Oh you mean the car top?" I questioned while pushing one of her many bags in the trunk. "Yeah the car top." Ari point to my black car. "Yeah we were waiting for you so we could all enjoy it together." Scarlet informed. Which was true we were waiting. Arianna smiled. "Well then, no need to wait now. The party is here!" She yelled in confidence that followed with laughter. She soon after walked to my car unlocking the top and stripping my hair from the roof. It was perfect. "Perfect." I sighed. Everything was going to be perfect.
We climbed inside my catilac. Scarlet in the passenger seat, Ari in the back, and me driving. "Alright we are full on gas, but we need to stop at the gas station for snacks." I excidently announced "Yay! Food!" Ari called out. She loved food, she could eat all damn day but her body stayed the exact same weight . "Oh lord, the last thing we need is you on a sugar rush!" Scarlet joked. Which made us burst with giggles, just as I spread of to the nearest 7-11.
We returned to the car with bags and bags of cookies, chips, sodas, candy, and slushies from the fountain machine. "This is heaven." Arianna mumbled to herself while hungrily gazing over the bags sprawled out next to her on the back seats. "And the sugar high begins." I mumbled loud enough for them to hear me. Scarlet giggles and I see Ari shoot a wink at me from the rear view mirror. She was the best. I loved my hungry friend. "Okay no more stops now." Scarlet peared at us while she said this. We all gulped nervously. This was it we are all now in the moment we wanted for sooooo long! "Let's do this." I said boldly pushing on the gas pedal while Scarlet and Ari cheered by me. I soonly joined in. Cranking up the Miley Cyrus cd chanting along with my best friends to the song. "Red cups and sweaty bodies everywhere, hands in the air like we don't care!!" We all sang as one. Feeling the wind through our hair. Heading out of the state of Texas soon to see the sign that made everything official.
