Love goes On

Emily and June woke up and immediately started talking about last night. "Were you really able to hear the conversation Niall and me were having?" Emily asked June concerned. "Sorry, Emily, yeah." "Oh, great! So I guess my dad heard the whole thing." Emily said dreadfully. She already was dreading getting out of her bedroom for breakfast this just made her feel worse.
"Well actually, there is a bright side to this...your parents tend to be deep sleepers. I actually made up what I said last night about your dad hearing the whole thing. I knew Niall was going to be persistent and you were gonna crack any minute and give in so I came to the rescue! I figured that if he thought this came from your dad that he was gonna immediately back off."
"WOW! June, that was really smart!"
"HEY!"
" No, really! I've seen you lie when you're half asleep and you-no offense but suck. You did a great job!"
"I know right! I pulled it off pretty good if I do say so myself!" June chuckled with Emily.

The girls felt pretty good by the end of their conversation and decided if one went down, they would drag the other with them! Because that what friends do, right?
That's what you do, right? Or are they just nuts? Well, whatever you do, that's what they did. I know pretty stupid but, hey! If your friend jumps off a cliff you should too! ^_< (I'm just kidding, by no means am I approving jumping off a cliff if your stupid friends(No offense) jump off a cliff.)

Moving on, as they got out of Emily's bedroom they had already changed from their pj's and were going to have brunch or face the consequences whatever came first, preferably brunch. The TV was turned on and there was the news on.
"So you sleepy heads are finally up!" Mike, Emily's dad said.
"Yup!" Emily replied.
Mike and his wife Jane were in the kitchen table still with their coffee mugs. Mike was on his laptop and Jane was flipping through a magazine glancing once in a while up at the news on the TV which was on a counter under the cabinets.
Jane got up and left the kitchen, for something. Mike shifted his attention from his lap top to the girls who were trying to sneak their way to the dining room instead of staying.
Mike ignored the girls and continued to work on his laptop.

As the girls sat down to eat their cereal June asked. "Do you think we got away with it?" "SHHH... Do you want them to hear you?! It's to early to tell, so let's not get our hopes up." Emily whispered back.
There was an awkward silence until June's phone started ringing. Emily and June started laughing at her silly ring tone of Despicable ME minions saying "BEEDO! BEEDO! BEEDO!" Their laughing stopped when they heard. "EMILY!" June turned her phone to vibrate and put it back in her bottom pocket.

"What time did you get home last night?" Mike asked Emily.
"Right after June got home." Emily squeaked.
Mike raised an eyebrow at that answer.
"Alright? Which leads me to ask June, what time she get home?"
"When Mrs. O'reilly went to bed." June answered.
Mike looked at the girls with a suspicious look trying to decipher what they were hiding.
"HONEY!! WHAT TIME DID YOU GO TO BED?" Mike yelled still looking at the girls suspiciously.
"WHAAAT??? WHAAT DID YOU SAAY? I DIDN'T HEAR YOU?!" Jane yelled back.
Mike rolled his eyes. "IIII SAAAID 'WHAAT TIIME DID YOU GO TO BED?!" Just as he said that Jane was walking in the dining room, standing behind him.
"You don't have to yell, Honey. I can hear you perfectly fine." "But you were...nevermind." Mike put his hand on his face in frustration. "To answer your question...mm..I would say around 11ish? I don't remember exactly." Jane said. " WELL...good! Looks like I we didn't get here too late, right?!" June tried to sound upbeat. "YEAH...At least it wasn't midnight or anything like that!" Emily tried to pull that off trying not to sound too obvious.
"Okay, alright! But what took you guys so long didn't the show end at 10:30?" Mike asked. "Traffic." Both Emily and June said quickly.
Just when they finished a buzzing sound came from June's butt. Sheepishly she reached into her jean's back pocket and took out her phone. The phone read "Unidentified" phone call.
"Hello?" June picked up.
"OH, is this June?" A phony American accent responded.
"yeah, who is this?"
In the background June could hear British accents talking and laughing. She recognized a laugh that seem familiar. She couldn't put a finger on where she heard that laugh.
"This is SUPERMAN!" the voice lost it's accent to a British one with the word "Superman"
"C'mon guys! You can do better! What a lame prank! What was your genius idea after saying that?" June was tired of prank callers.
"Alright, alright! It's really, Lou."
" Lou who?"
"For God's sake! How many Louis do you know?!"
"HEY! Don't get sassy on me! I'm the one asking the questions here!" June said defensively.
"How did you get my phone number Louis?" June asked suspiciously.
"Oh, that was easy! I'm calling from Liam's phone! You should've seen what he put you down for contacts!" Louis started laughing with the rest of the guys. When he stopped laughing he said "Yeah, you see he put-"
"What are you doing with my f@#$ing phone, man?!" Liam sounded ticked off by the tone in his voice from the background.
"Oh, hey Liam! I was just calling your new girl-"
"SHUT UP!"
The laughing got louder, especially that familiar laugh in the background. June finally recognized who was laughing, it was Niall's laugh.
"NO! Liam! I was just joking, man! Can't you take a joke?!" Louis sounded like he was running with the phone because he sounded agitated, but still couldn't stop laughing.
"LOUIS! WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN TELLING HER?!" Liam's voice sounded closer and closer.
Finally, there was a change of control of the phone. Now it was Louis's voice in the background.
"Sorry, about that June. It won't happen again! I gotta go!" Liam said calmly. and hung up before June could reply.
"Okay?"
"Who called ya?" Emily asked for everyone else.
"Oh just silly people!" June hoped Emily would take her hint.
