Stepping out of the shower, I dried myself off in a record time and pulled on my outfit for my outing with Louis, which I didn't put much thought in really. I was wearing a simple tank top with a gray cardigan on top and leggings. I padded into the room and sighed, looking at the clock. Louis would be here any minute now to pick me up and show me his favorite little cafe, which also conveniently was well hidden from the media and the paparazzi. I could just imagine the headlines now. 'Louis Tomlinson and Mystery Girl On Coffee Date?' 'Louis Cheating On Eleanor With Mystery Girl!' honestly, I really wasn't up for that, since this wasn't even a date, just a casual hang out. I was glad that Louis seemed to also think of us as nothing but friends, it made our friendship considerably easier that we both knew nothing would ever happen between us, and I think that was established from the first time we met, somehow.

I combed my hair out quickly, braiding it into a fishtail that I hung on my shoulder. I barely had the time to swipe on a bit of mascara and some foundation before I heard a knock on the door. I ran to open it, quickly letting Louis inside. I pulled him into a hug, happy to see him again.

"Did anyone see you?" I asked, worried. The last thing we needed was media coverage or a mob. He shook his head, quite sure no one had recognized or followed him. I sighed in relief, grabbing my bag. I laughed as I saw Louis' attempt at hiding his identity slightly as he put on giant sunglasses, a scarf, and pulled on a big hoodie.

"What are you laughing at, huh? It's called ingenuity," he said, puffing out his chest proudly at his idea.

"It's quite hard to take you seriously in such attire, Mr.Tomlinson," I replied, teasing him.

"Hey, at least I didn't take the fake mustache, much to Liam and Zayn's protest," he said, laughing himself as we got to his car. I slipped into the sleek SUV, running my hand on the soft leather of the seat. It was hard to think that the boy I was joking with only a few seconds ago was actually a superstar millionaire.

It was a short ride to the small bistro, and Louis made sure he parked in back. Once we came in, it was obvious he was a regular as the waitress smiled at him knowingly, showing him to the most secluded booth at the back of the small place, seating him with his back to the rest of the cafe. It seemed so simple, yet if someone happened to walk in, no one would recognize him unless they walked right up to where I was, and we were in a small uninteresting corner, so that wouldn't be likely. We both ordered coffee and a small tray of pastries, and started chatting. Conversation sprung up so easily between us, and we effortlessly navigated through serious to much less serious subjects.

An hour and a half had flown by quickly when Louis' phone rang and he excused himself, getting up and standing a few feet away, taking the call. Minutes later he slid back in the booth, smiling at me.

"If you don't mind, love, Eleanor stopped by my flat, and Harry told her I was here, I invited them both, but I can cancel the plans if you'd rather," he said, obviously hoping I wouldn't cancel. Honestly, I didn't mind at all that the two were going to join us, and I was quite excited to meet Eleanor, which I didn't hesitate to tell Louis. He grinned, relieved at my response, and we talked for a while more until I noticed two people heading for the back booth. I nodded in their direction, Louis turning and seeing them. He wrapped Eleanor in a hug, the two embracing for a while as I scooted over so Harry could sit beside me, knowing Louis and Eleanor would want to be beside each other.

As the couple reunited, I turned to Harry, a shy smile on my face. As much as I was comfortable with Louis, I hadn't met the rest of One Direction with the exception of Niall, and it was hard to swallow the lump at my throat as I looked at Harry Styles, our arms only a few inches away.

"I'm Violet, hey," I said, introducing myself to Harry once I got the courage to say something.

"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Violet. Louis has taken quite a liking to you. So much so, that I'm starting to wish I had drawn the last straw and would have been in Louis' place," he said, chuckling. I laughed with him, my cheeks tinting a slight shade of pink. I looked down, not sure how to react to his comment, so I was glad to see Louis and Eleanor sitting down, facing us. Louis formally introduced me to the two, and I shook Eleanor's hand, immediately getting into a conversation with her. I was scared she would hate me because I was spending time with her boyfriend, but much to the contrary, she was excited that he had another woman friend in his life.

"I love the lads, but Louis ends up being even more childish after hanging out with them, hopefully you'll balance that out with me," she said, laughing. I laughed along with her, promising I'd try my best.

We ordered another plate of pastries, and Eleanor and Louis became engrossed in each other. Not wanting to be a third wheel of any sort, I gathered up the courage to turn to Harry and spark up a conversation with him. Much to my relief, he beat me to it, asking about my classes and back home. Soon, Louis and Eleanor joined in on our conversation, and we were soon speaking of tour life and how nice it would be to be back in London for a few months.

After a while, we decided to leave, and Harry and Louis invited me and Eleanor back to theirs, but I politely declined, knowing I had a lot of school work to catch up on. We bid goodbye, and I took the bus back home, much to their protests.

It was a Friday afternoon, something like a week after our coffee shop encounter. I was in my Greek Mythologies class, my ancient teacher lecturing us about the gods. I was in the back of the lecture hall, slumped down on my seat. It had been a boring day, and I was just not feeling school right then. I felt my phone buzz in the pocket of my jogging pants. I pulled it out, hiding it behind my Mythology book, unlocking the screen to reveal a text from Louis. He had gotten home from Doncaster yesterday, and so had the other boys from their hometowns. Apparently, they were all meeting up at Louis' for supper and had invited Maddie and I to come over. I knew Maddie would freak, and I smiled to myself as I told him we'd be there.

Just as I had predicted, Maddie squealed as I told her when I got back home from my class. We only had about 45 minutes to get ready, which was a tragedy for Maddie. I was fine with it, though, only taking a mere 15 minutes to get ready. While I was lounging on my bed on Twitter, she was freaking out, running around our room, trying to get herself ready. I left my long dark brown hair down, not bothering to straighten it or curl it, leaving it in it's natural messy waves. I pulled on what I usually wore, which consisted of a pair of dark skinny jeans and a random oversized t-shirt which belonged to my father. Maddie emerged from the bathroom, having pulled off her hair, makeup and outfit in only 45 minutes. She looked sensational in a pair of leggings and a beautiful peplum shirt, accentuating her curves in a gracious way. Her hair was straightened, and we made our way out of the dorm, our arms looped together. Our school friends liked to joke about how mismatched we were, but we complimented each other greatly.

We got to Louis and Harry's flat, which happened to be a extremely high-class condominium. Exchanging looks, Maddie and I left her car with a valet and stepped inside, Following Louis' instructions. Soon, we were on the eleventh floor, and we walked through the hallway till we found the boys' door. I took a deep breath, grinning at Maddie, and knocked. We waited for a while before I heard commotion behind the wooden door. The heavy door opened, revealing a grinning Harry, sporting a cooking apron.

"Come right on in, ladies. Everyone else was too lazy to open up, so they sent the cook to open up. Just walk straight ahead, you'll find the living room," he said, clearly in high spirits. I thanked him, and we followed his directions until we got to a beautiful room, with plush couches and a huge television. One wall was completely windows overlooking the city. It was truly breathtaking. Louis saw us and got up, introducing us to everyone. There was Niall, Liam, Zayn, Eleanor and three girls. One I recognized as Perrie, Zayn's beautiful fiance. And one was Kendall Jenner, Harry's girlfriend. The other was introduced as Sophia, Liam's girlfriend. She seemed more reserved though, and less with the group. Eleanor and Louis got up to us, making an effort to incorporate us. Soon, Maddie was talking animatedly with Perrie and Zayn, and I was with Eleanor and Niall.

A while later, the thirst got the better of me. I asked Louis where I could get myself a glass of water, and he gave me the directions to his kitchen. I thanked him and followed his directions, walking into a spacy, modern kitchen. Harry turned to see me, smiling.

"I really hope you've come to help the cook," he said as he turned back to the chicken he was roasting. He seemed to be quite busy, and I couldn't help but laugh at his distress.

"Actually, I was just here to get myself a glass of water, but I could definitely lend a hand, if that's what you need," I replied. He nodded thankfully, throwing me another apron. I laughed, having to tie it over several times as it was much too big for me. I bustled around the kitchen, complying to Harry's order. I was in the middle of chopping some carrots, when Harry started humming One Republic. I laughed, joining in, and pretty soon we were dancing around the kitchen, singing Everybody Loves Me. I diced up all the carrots, throwing them in a pan, and Harry was mixing up a gravy, shaking his bum. I laughed as he turned around, singing with him. Our song was interrupted by a small cough. We both turned, blushing, to see Kendall leaning in the doorway.

"Sorry to interrupt you two in your fun, but I was sent to see if Violet hadn't died or anything, since you left like fifteen minutes ago," she said in a monotone voice, playing with a strand of her hair. She rolled her eyes at our startled expressions, going back to the group.

"Um, yeah. Sorry about that," Harry said, scratching his head as he went back to cooking. "I don't really think she likes fooling around," he said as he stirred a pot.

"Nah, it's cool. I hope this isn't too straightforward or anything, but why are you guys together? I'm not one to judge, but that was cold," I said, sitting on the counter.

"Well, I'm not really supposed to give out this information... So, don't tell anyone. But it's management. We're just together for publicity. They said I had been single for too long, and that Kendall could give me a boost in the media I need," Harry said, sighing as he sat beside me. I nodded, thinking of how annoying it must be to have to pretend to date someone you don't even get along with.

"I see. Are-are the other girlfriends fake too?" I asked, hoping he didn't think I was prying too much. He merely chuckled, shaking his head.

"No. Their relationship is actually real. The media was portraying me as a womanizer, which I am far from being, so they just set me up with a Jenner," he said with a shrug. I nodded, sympathizing with him. A few minutes later, we set up the table in the dining room and called everyone in.

"This looks amazing," Liam said as he walked in with his hand snaked around Sophia's waist.

"Thank you, we did make a killer team," I said, grinning up at Harry as I nudged him. Harry grinned back at me, but we quickly left each other's side as Kendall walked in, eyeing us.

The meal was great, and Maddie and Niall were totally engrossed in each other. Zayn and Eleanor, who were sitting beside me, quietly told me that they had been like this from the moment they started talking shortly after I left. I laughed, eating the delicious chicken and salad I had helped make. The conversation was lively, and we were served great wine, and the night was truly enjoyable.

It was around ten when we had finished the dinner, and we all voted that Maddie and Niall would deserve dishes duty because we caught them playing footsies halfway through the meal. They reluctantly accepted as everyone moved back to the living room.

"We should go clubbing," Louis suggested, his arms slung around Eleanor's shoulders as he was lounging on his couch. I smiled politely as everyone was getting excited at the idea. I just wasn't that into the whole party scene. I'd rather have a fun dinner like we just had than be in a stuffy room full of sweaty people. The mere idea of loud music you can't even talk over made me want to curl into a ball and eat a lot of pizza.

"Violet, don't you want to come?" Perrie asked, seeing my reluctant smile. The whole room quieted and zeroed in on me, and I blushed.

"Well... I mean it's not that I don't want to... It's just not really my thing, you know," I said, fiddling with the hem of my shirt. "I think I'll just leave when you guys go to the club," I added, not wanting to be that one person who ruined everyone's fun.

"No, you can stay here, I'm not really feeling the club either. We can just watch movies, and if anyone else doesn't feel like going they can stay too," Harry protested. I hesitated, but everyone agreed, although the looks his friends were giving him were curious.

"Well if you're going to be so lame, I'm going home. My flight leaves tomorrow anyways," said Kendall, getting her stuff already as she prepared to leave. Harry didn't protest, he just shrugged. "Be at the airport tomorrow morning, Management wants a good photo op of our farewell," she said, not saying goodbye to anyone as she left.

"I'm sure she's usually a nice girl. She's getting forced to do this too," Liam said, trying to defend the girl as the whole room gave each other looks.

"I'm sorry I invited her, guys. I thought maybe she'd warm up," Harry said, obviously troubled. We all reassured him, and when Niall and Maddie came out of the kitchen, we told them about what was happening. Everyone finally left, and I was left alone with Harry.

"I say we treat each other to chocolate and Netflix," he said, wiggling his eyebrows. I laughed, nodding. He jumped up to get the chocolate, and I set up the Netflix. I chose a random movie and Harry came back with a lot of chocolate. Halfway through the movie, we started a game of throwing each other pieces of chocolate, trying to get them in our mouths. Most landed on the ground, but it was definitely hilarious. We were two movies in, and we were both nodding off. Before I knew it, I was falling slowly asleep, inevitably resting my head on his shoulder.

I awoke to something stirring under me. I opened my eyes, finding myself sprawled on the couch next to Harry. I jumped, rolling off the couch, falling on my back. I saw Harry's face pop up from the couch, laughing.

"You okay there love?" He asked. I nodded, confused at how we had ended up cuddling on the couch. I decided to brush it off, since he was acting like it was nothing, I guessed I could do it too. He stretched, looking at his watch and freezing.

"Shit," he muttered, running a hand through his messy hair. "I'm late for the airport," he said as he pulled on his boots and waited for me to grab my own shoes. I followed him out, and he told me he'd drive me home before he got to the airport.

"Harry, you're already late, I can take the bus," I said, but he refused to listen. Soon, I was back home, and waved goodbye as he sped off. I went back into my dorm room, and found Maddie sitting on her bed, obviously nursing a hangover.

"Hey, Mads. I--uh, I may or may not have cuddled with Harry Styles," I said quietly as I sank on the bed still in shock.

For the song Harry and Violet sing while cooking, here's the link! It's a great song, I definitely recommend it!
